This H&M store at Willowbrook Mall has been on my bookmark since covid ended. I saw an aloha shirt on Instagram and I really wanted to try on in person. Just tired of being sitting at home staring at a picture. Finally, I came to this part of town for other errands. I can't say I like this store. There are 2 entrances, mall side is women's department and parking lot side is men's department. The store layout is awkward. I followed some men to the men's clothing section. There was no direction or obvious signs. In fact, the wall decor was so tiny to nonexistent. The cash register in men's section was closed (on Sunday?) leaving one by the mall entrance. Cashier mumbled something about email address. You know, I'm old. I have hearing problems. If you don't speak up, I assume you're not talking to me. "You want a bag?" Yeah. I saw the sign in the changing room. I ain't paying 10 cents for paper bag. "No thanks." I walked out with my pink shorts (inspired by the Barbie Movie). It's ok. I don't think anyone would ask. It actually looks pretty good on me, according to my Instagram story poll. read more

Honestly, there are two or more H&M's in Houston, and to be truthful, it excites me, too. Each store has its own type of clothing, which is lovely in my books. Like, for instance, this H&M is totally different in style than one on the other side of town or the one in Humble. And we all know you get the bank for your buck here. The value of their clothing is moderately priced, and it is of good quality. Well, I found two of my Christmas dresses here for the upcoming holiday parties. And, of course, I added a sweater and blazer. As I stated before, the clothes are of great value, and I just can't pass up a bargain. Plus, the sales associate offered me ten percent off for just signing up as a member. How nice is that, I asked. It was very nice!! read more

Done with H&M and their horrible rules and policies and customer service... I've been shopping at H&M for years have spent tons and tons of money . But today Im Done for good !! I got a visa gift card from my mom, so where do I run to spend it of course at H&M , it was two items , one item I ended up keeping but the hoodie I returned it was huge and UGLY had a horrible smell, like a over dyed smells . So I called up spoke with representative the representative the first time I called , was having issues with her computer and asked me if I can call back- I said sure no problem... then I call up again 10 minutes later and I get a new representative on the phone, I told her my issue that I want to return the hoodie but I do not have the visa gift card anymore and she said absolutely no problem whatsoever. Go return it in the store and let them know you no longer have the gift card and they will send it in my email " Store credit' I go to the store explain to the cashier that I don't have the Visa gift card anymore and if they could just give it to me on a store credit.. at first she said NO and then another cashier came up to her and said yes you can it just Just going to be sent to her email. I was told by the cashier at H&M that the credit will appear in my email 3 to 5 business days I felt like that was a really long time since you already have the merchandise and it's not going back on my card, so I called up again customer service, what a nightmare - customer service is so horrible after calling the customer service to ask them why it's going to take 7 to 5 business days for it to appear in my email.. she was told no it went back to your regular Bank... I said I don't have that card anymore it was a gift card , I threw it away.. The manager goes to bad !!!! you'll have to contact your bank when you see the refund reflect off your item!!! Absolutely done I'm sick of dealing with people offshore Update the credit did go back to the Visa gift card that I don't longer have so I lost $27 after I was lied to by the cashier lied to by representative!!! $27 lesson learned .....never again read more

I've always been a loyal H&M customer, almost all my kids' clothes is from there. I loved their recycling program and policies... until today. I came to return some items after their return window. Usually it was not a problem - they just give you a store credit and I was ready for that. But this time they said I can only do an exchange so I needed to buy things I didn't need to. Never again. They have outside so you can go straight In the store from the outside. They used to have 1 door open for people to go in and out of. They recently blocked all the doors so no one can go in forcing people to walk inside and go around just to get into the store. That's driving people away from the store. Just go through the doors from outside I bought something. It's sad to make people walk around where they can walk though right there. It's a easy way for people to get in from the rain. I had 30 mins to buy an outfit and because I had no idea what I was looking for, I asked for some help. The young lady (who I later found out was also the manger) was super helpful! She helped me get a top, bottoms and shoes. FYI: the shoes, I have received major compliments on. Major. One thing I hate about shopping is trying clothes on. This young lady, however, was so helpful that she would bring different sizes to the fitting room for me which saved me so much time. It's also very very clean in there- which is another major plus. One of the bigger H&M stores in the Houston area that I have been to. It is very easy to find what you're looking for; if you know what you are looking for. Occasionally staff will ask if you need help, but for the most part they leave you alone. On occasion they will have very limited registers open during weekdays which can cause a line and unexpected wait periods. They occasionally will carry items in store that are recently available online. The clearance section is also well defined so it's easy to know what's on clearance. This store offers clothing for men, women, and kids. The fitting room is about standard for this type of store. Everything is normally well organized and priced correctly. read more

I remember when H and M first appeared in NY, we were all so excited that a European store that was actually affordable was coming to town! We couldn't wait to shop! Once it opened we loved the variety and styles offered, that was probably more than a decade ago! Now that I live in Houston every trip to NY deserved a visit to their store, imagine my surprise when I heard they were opening not one but two stores in the Houston Area! I have been to both stores and it is still a great store to shop for new styles. I love their sales and you can sometimes find great dresses for as low as $7! Yes, I said it!! I have been to both stores in less than a week to change a pair of pants and let me say that they both run completely different sales, so only because you went to one does not mean you got their best deals. One store is in Baybrook mall and the other in Willowbrook, so they are in completely opposite sides of Houston, but if you are in either area, pay them a visit. I will admit some of the materials they use are not the best, so I make sure to check out the material before I buy a piece of clothing. Plus, if you get it on sale you can not complain that your $10 did not last forever!! Also, keep in mind that their sizes are not "normal" sizes. Sometimes I can fit my size, other times I can't and have to buy bigger clothes. I never buy anything without trying it on first! Definitely a hit or miss. Good selection of basics and work-appropriate attire like blazers, skirts, and slacks. Women's slacks are a bit long on petitites (I'm 5'2") but their skirt lengths are spot on for shorter women which is why I get mine from here. Sizes can be inconsistent so don't beat yourself up if you don't fit into your normal size. Store is clean-ish but the staff is awful. Saw a neglected empty cup on a shelf sitting there for the entire hour and a half I was there on a not-so-busy Tuesday afternoon. Did I mention how bad the staff is? Checking out with 4-5 people in line took a solid 15-20 minutes with 2 cashiers. While I was in line an employee with an off-duty employee cut in front of me to get checked out. Then one of them jokingly asked for a manager and the 3 of them mocked their own pathetic service by saying things like "You have lost my business!" and "I will NEVER shop here again!" to each other -- in front of an entire line of customers and holding up the line with their unprofessionalism. When I was getting checked out the cashier tossed me a plastic card. When I asked what it was and what it was for, instead of just telling me she said "It's on the front". So rude! I still don't know why I was given a $5 gift card. Since they still haven't gotten online ordering up and running yet and this is still my choice for stuff to wear to work, I'll come here for that but be warned that the staff is pathetic. read more

I enjoy going to this location because it's conveniently close to home, and they have decently nice people working there now, compared to other H&M locations. Their clothes are decently priced and better quality that forever21, or love culture. I love buying my professional wear there! It's exactly my style and I never have to spend extra money on getting it altered! Also, H&M is my goto store looking for wedding attire for my husband! There is not much else to see at this mall, but this particular H&M is worth the drive, from anywhere in Houston. I haven't been to H&M at Baybrook Mall, but I hear that the store is much smaller, and popular items get snatched up quickly. This particular location opened about a week ago. I was going to wait for the initial excitement to die down a bit, but I really wanted to check it out. I strategically planned to wake up early on a weekday morning, and I got here shortly after the mall opened. For those that are not familiar with H&M, it is similar to Forever 21. The clothing is very trendy and affordable, with very few items priced over $50. The styles here are more "grown-up" than what is offered at F21, and though the pricepoint is a little higher, most items are better quality. I'm actually pretty impressed with the "Divided" line, which is mostly comprised of basic knit tees, tanks and dresses in the $5 to $15 range. The material is a thicker cotton, so it looks like it will last. My husband liked some of the men's button downs. The patterns are a little more unique, and the fabric is good quality for the price. There were quite a few people in the store, but there was no line in the fitting room, or at check-out. Sizes were plentiful, they probably replenish items early in the morning. There seemed to be a lot more size 2's and larger sizes, but I'm a 4-6 and I managed to snag everything I wanted in the correct sizes. The store is clean, brightly lit, and well-organized...another advantage to arriving early! The store is much easier to navigate when items are where they should be, and women aren't furiously grabbing things off of every rack. In conclusion, I think it would definitely be wise to visit on a weekday morning. If you plan on coming on Saturday or Sunday...well, best of luck to you. read more

H&M is one of those places that I always get excited about, but when I actually get to the store, I never buy anything. Until my last trip to the store, I never could figure out what this always happened....but.... This store is a freaking madhouse! It's messy, unorganized and employs rude people. Add to that the fact that the sizing is completely inconsistent. If you're looking for cheap trendy stuff, you might be able to have some luck. But, for all the classic/wardrobe staples, I stay stick with the Gap. The quality is better and the sizing is more consistent. read more

Save yourself some money and still look phly at H&M. The selection is wide and usually at the fore-front of style. From fashionable work attire (blazers, ties, dress shirts and shoes), to house clothes (sweat pants, tees, flannels) and everything in between, I rock with H&M because it's always affordable. It's common for me to buy a shirt from here in three different colors or some nice slacks just for kicks and giggles. In the children's section I find some great ideas for my daughter, although from time-to-time it's tough to find things organized. My wife likes their options too, but not as much as i like the men's selection. For the inexpensive options, the long lines and seemingly short-staff is worthwhile. read more

Clearly I've been spoiled by the nicer multistory H&Ms in other cities like Denver and Chicago. I was really disappointed with this store. I LOVE H&M for budget friendly staple pieces and was shocked by the cheap freakum dress garbage they're hocking at this location. Please, if you've never seen the multilevel wonders elsewhere, don't judge the H&M chain by this eyesore. If you HAVE seen the larger and classier stores and happened to fall in love? Well, that's not going to be happening here. If you were hoping to find some affordable staples / fashion pieces....that's probably not going to be happening either. I'm just not totally in love with the H&M in Houston. Both locations are mediocre at best compared to locations in other parts of the country. I figured with getting on board so late they would step it up. But this location just didn't have that much clothes for me. The women's section was better but still not exceptional. And I hate how it's so far from centralized Houston. For it to be out this far it just didn't make my trip worthwhile. read more

This H&M gives me the impression that they dislike Plus size females, the reason why i say that is when you walk into the store they have regular sized clothes all spread out literally half the store front, then you walk in the back and they have maternity on the left and a corner just a corner of PLUS SIZE then in the back is mens and they get half a store. I walked out with a t shirt it was the only presentable item and only item in my size. Size up if you wear Plus size in here if you don't the items won't fit. Also I felt awkward walking into the store with the man and women working in the front of the store I felt like I was being judged for being in the store and shopping there when all they had was a couple of racks for me. read more

Unprofessional store is run by high school kids and people with no education or class. Horrible customer service Additionally, I ordered a shirt and they left a security tag on the shirt! Shirt is useless now with tag. Since I am no vacation, i am completely screwed. Also this means I have to spend 1 hour+ if I had to return the H&M for the cashier mistake. I was dead surprise when the news of H&M hitting Houston. Though it was a far drive to Willowbrook mall from Downtown, but it was worth it. I was spoiled living in California by having H&M stores within every 5 mile radius. This store is much bigger than any H&M stores I've ever encountered. Selection & Price - The stores has great selection for men, from jeans to blazers, and now carries causual work dress shirts for reasonable price. I like most clothes slim fit there the blazers here fit me perfectly. Cleanliness- It's new, chic and swank. Staff- There are fairly large amount of kids working here (they tend to be real trendy), mostly high school students and/or college students. I wouldn't say the best customer service all around because they certainly don't work for tips, but the cashier was very helpful by advising to purchase Beckham merchandise to get an extra 20% off on all purchases, which was really awesome. All in all, good experience, but i do recommend visiting during weekdays to avoid the weekend fitting room traffic chaos. read more

I was disappointed. I waited. And Waited. Finally an H&M close to me. Bleh. I love the commercials, love the website (can not buy online here though) but the store was just ok. I hope they were just out of a lot of the trendier items and I will try it again soon. I noticed the quality on some items is good but some is just thicker, scratchier cotton. For me its about the feel of clothes. If something doesn't feel good to the touch but looks amazing I still will not buy it. I will stick to xxi for trendier pieces for the time being. read more

She was so helpful letting us know about discounts for college students (15%) and their Loyalty program (10% one-time). She went above and beyond! I went into the dressing room and instead of the worker counting my clothes and giving me a number, she stopped her casual conversation with another coworker and yelled "You can go 'head." So I went into a random dressing room, tried on the clothes, didn't like them, and headed back out. I proceeded to put them on a rack when the worker yelled "You can give those here." from her seat in the corner. I ignored her and kept walking as it's not my job to walk over to an employee of a store and hand them the clothes, especially when they're being lazy, sitting down, and chit chatting. I can't believe the overrated hype of this store. It reminds me of a Forever 21. The clothing is of the cheap, wear-it-once uber-trendy variety. The staff was friendly, check-out line was long, clothes were inexpensive and nothing, I mean NOTHING to get excited over. Huge disappointment - I can see teenagers and twenty-somethings being very impressed with H&M. Me? I want my clothes to LAST. H&M Willowbrook is huge! Men's, kids, maternity, lingerie, and ladies clothing. The prices are very reasonable. Today the skinny blue jeans were $10! The lines were 30min. to check out and 20 min. to dressing rooms. Will try back when things calm down but overall it's a definite! read more

For a teenager or someone in their 20s, this place has cheap trendy clothes. But, you get what you pay for.

I do like this store and the clothes, they have cute clothing for kids but for adult it is always hard to find something good because of the odd layout. You have to walk all the way to the other side of store and its like a zig zag, second it's always messy and never organize and third the employees are lazy, rude and act like kids. Oh excuse me they are- I was standing in line (there was no line) at the fitting room. It was empty and had about 10 rooms opened. I stood and waited as I rolled my eyes at these 3 employees who were standing and talking amongst themselves "folding" clothes and talking about when's the next time they were gonna get paid, 5min later when they finally remembered that it would be in the next 2wks, one of them asked me how many items I had. I am appalled at their customer service. Went to H&M in Willowbrook mall in Houston, TX today. Picked up few clothes including a pinned/folded shirt to try on in the fitting room. As I'm waiting in the line, the employee asked me what size I am. I told him medium. He brings out a shirt that has a totally different design and fabric and tells me to try that instead. I was looking at him confused. He says it will be similar and that I shouldn't unpin the shirt. I'm staring at him with a big WTF look and told him they are two completely different shirts and I'm not just looking for the size, I'm looking for how the freaking shirt looks on me. Then a second employee joins in and says the most offensive thing I've heard in a clothing store, and I quote him verbatim: "Are you going to buy it if it fits?" I'm like speechless at this point. I did complain to the manager but he seemed zoned out. I was stupid enough to spend money there, but never will I give them my business again. Worst H&M ever. And I've shopped at whole bunch of them from Cali to NYC. Believe the other yelpers. Stay away. read more

Love the clothes, hate the staff. One of the girls in the dressing room told my sister and I there was a 7 count limit. My sister handed her the remaining clothes, assuming they hold them at the table till you're ready for them, and the girl responded with "I don't wanna hold your crap" so loud I could hear it from my dressing room. I understand a lot of the staff are younger, but seriously?! That's NO way to talk to a customer for something so petty. When I asked the guy at the register if a manager was in, he oh so politely (sarcasm) responds with "ya we got a lot of them". The girl next to him asked what I needed and I told her what happened. No apology or anything, just a "oh ok". As much as I love their clothes, I probably won't be going back but rather order online. Management and staff needs a little professionalism! read more

They have cute clothes for the young. Beware though, this store (Willowbrook) does not honor Retail me not coupon. It advertises 50% in-store and on-line sweaters. We bought a sweater and they wouldn't honor the published coupon. Then proceeded to say, not all sweaters are 50% off on-line. They have false advertising from Retail me not according to their associate #54958. Very disappointed. read more

This store is constantly understaffed at any time you can expect 10-15 waiting to check out. Seems as if the entire staff is high school kids who honestly could careless, I get it this is a part time job for them but where is management. The store is always a mess and only carries 1 or 2 of each size from what I've noticed. You're better off going to the galleria if you need anything from H&m read more

I love the clothes H&M has to offer but the people who work there have stank attitudes. The associates are rude at willowbrook in Houston. Ive been to this store a few times and it never fails to be treated with disrespect there. When I made my way to the check out the cashier who was ringing me up was to busy chatting with the other cashier next to her she didn't even acknowledge me and to top it off she was extremely rude it was a joke.
