Absolutely love this place! Just had the pizza of the month with a buddy and he said something pretty funny afterwards regarding The Lunch Lady pizza. "The lunch lady should, well, stay in the back of the kitchen." We we're spoiled with the first pizza of the month being the Jalapeño Face so we made it a point to try the rest of the limited time only pizzas. Splitting the lunch lady wasn't as fun as it sounded. Food was fast, tasted great, and was reasonably priced. Similar to chipotle or subway, customers are able to pick their meat (one is included, if you want more than one it is $1 extra), their sauce, and unlimited veggies. The cookies were great. Will be coming back! read more

The cheese slices should have sent me out of the place (your other option is shredded cheddar). The topping selections are severely deficient. The crust was mediocre. Super food! Very tasty, fresh, and very good value. I paid $7.50 for a pizza that was so loaded with toppings. They only have one crust type (thin) although they do have two sizes to choose from Minus one star because some of the staff were less than enthusiastic. The overall set up is similar to Pie Five (several locations in Indy) but the combinations are more unique. read more

The staff was very friendly and didn't seem like I was inconveniencing them with my gluten free request. They have many topping choices and sauce choices. Wanted to try something new tonight so my fiancé and I came here. It was nice! We didn't really know what to expect when we went in. But, the way you go down the counter and they make it in front of you like Chipotlé - at a pizza restaurant - is brand new and really cool. The food is good and there are lots of options, even for vegetarians and vegans, which was a great surprise. There are even a lot of drink options, from soda to beer. The place was clean and the seating is comfortable. The only thing I could think of to make the place better is cans to put recyclable trash in, but recycling is almost impossible to find in Lafayette so I can't be too upset. Azzip has to be one of my favorite quick and easy restaurants, especially on the busy road it's on. You can build your own pizza or choose from one of their creations. I always go for the founder! I had never been to an Azzip location before and I had an unbelievably positive experience. I walked in and the place looked and smelled clean....not just wiped down, but actually clean. There was a young lady working who was the manager. She greeted me and was so patient as she answered my questions about "no carb" pizza and shared some recommendations with me. She was so pleasant and was working very hard as well. I ordered two of the no Carb pizzas and, despite the small upcharge, thought the prices were more than reasonable for the quality I received. The toppings seemed fresh and were visually appealing. Many times when I go out I see places struggling to find good help, but let me tell you.....the people working there today were all doing an excellent job. I think the manager could be successful at anything she wanted to do and was glad to hear she was attending college in addition to working a job. Ok. Limited choices compared to Lotsa Wood Fired Pizza and Milestone Pizza. Azzip Pizza is not wood fired. I ordered smoked pork with barbecue sauce. Ok. Nothing special, but not bad either. My wife ordered red sauce with bacon and vegetables. She didn't like hers at all. I tasted it and it was more bland than any pizza I have eaten in some time. Vegan cheese and chicken?!!!!!! YES! This place is so good and very reasonably priced. I've come 10 minutes before closing and they still had vegan toppings which is very unusual for a pizza place. Went here based on Yelp recommendations and was not disappointed. I've been to similar pizza places that are setup similar to Chipotle in ordering your pizza. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was flavorful. I only have it 4 stars because the pizza I ordered was not made properly reading off the menu and I think there could be more depth in topping choices. The crust was flaky and reminded me almost of a pastry dough (butter based). The sriracha cheese bread was very delicious. Don't forget to grab a chocolate chunk cookie when you are done.
