I eventually landed on the Peanut Butter Strawberry Crumble Financier, which I took to a nearby table and began eating. Oh man is it ever good. It's a delicious, rich cake that's subtle in its flavors but ultimately completely addictive. I honestly don't know how or if it could've possibly been any better. The large floor-to-ceiling windows let in lots of natural light, making the space feel bright and comfortable. The menu offers a good variety of food and drinks, especially coffee. You can tell that care has gone into both the presentation and preparation of the dishes, and the ingredients are of good quality. Everything we ordered was well made and enjoyable. Overall, the service was good. However, there was one male staff member whose attitude and facial expressions could definitely be improved. My first experience with him almost made me decide not to return. Fortunately, on my second visit he wasn't there, and the overall experience was much more pleasant. Because of the convenient location and comfortable atmosphere, I'd still be happy to meet friends here again. One thing to keep in mind is that weekends can get quite busy and noisy, so if you're looking for a quieter experience, weekdays are definitely the better choice.
