Cute little sushi spot right in front of The College Hotel, tucked in Amsterdam's fashion & museum district. It's mostly a grab-and-go place with just a few bar stools if you want to eat there. My husband and I had been eyeing it all week from our hotel room across the street (lol, the temptation was real), so we finally gave in.
We got 3 rolls for about $70 -- yeah, kinda steep, but hey, it's Amsterdam! Honestly, I've paid more for worse sushi at Sugarfish in LA, so I'll take it as a win. The fish was fresh, and the spicy tuna roll was a standout -- loved the little touch of seasoned shiso leaves inside, really brightened the flavor.
If you're craving sushi while in Amsterdam, this place is a solid pick. Just note: we went around dinner time and waited about 30 minutes since they were cranking out tons of to-go orders. Totally worth it, though! read more
