I try to support our Santee businesses when possible, but I got burnt once by a local so I started using a company you always see on tv ads. They do a good job, but are getting pricey. I decided to try Aztec because of the Yelp reviews, and it is a Santee business. Their prices are very competitive, and you work with the owner David. He got back to me fast with a quote, and setting an appointment. Then he showed up a few minutes early to start work. We had him clean our 20 year old carpet, and tile. I believe he may have been rushed to get to his next appointment as he missed one small area. When I spoke to him he agreed to fix it without hesitation. Overall he did a good job. This was our first time using this company. We used them after our regular company wasn't available on our desired date. We were impressed with the ease of scheduling, their prompt arrival time, and how quickly they cleaned everything. Unfortunately, we do not feel that they did the best job on our carpets. The edge of each of our stairs looked like they didn't spend enough time there, there were still visible stains in one of the rooms, which we felt could have been easily lifted with professional cleaning. Additionally, it may be that our other company goes above and beyond with putting our furniture on styrofoam blocks after cleaning to prevent water damage, but that was not the case with Aztec...Not a huge deal but definitely a noticeable difference. Lastly, we also felt like the carpets had a slightly "crunchy" residue after cleaning, which we've never experienced before... not sure if too much soap/shampoo was left behind or what... read more

David did an amazing job on my carpet, rugs, and my ottoman at such a great price! I had him come in to clean the carpet at the house we were renting because we were about to move out. It hadn't been cleaned for at least a couple of years. Our stairs were so dirty but afterwards, they looked great. My landlord was so pleased with carpet, he didn't bother taking money out of our deposit to get it cleaned himself. Our ottoman needed cleaning too from all the spills from our toddler's drinks.
