Wowowow this was such a treat. I love lamb kebabs and this hit my craving perfectly. I tried the shawarma and lamb kebab plate. The shawarma is HUGE and the sauce in there is bussin. The herb salad that comes in the plate is so fresh and delicious and is a great balance to the kebabs. Azizi and his team are the sweetest and the meats are grilled and made to order. This was a perfect end of day, as the sun setting type of meal.

Huge portions for reasonable prices!! Love that everything is cooked fresh and assembled right in front of you. Juicy chicken in the chicken shawarma and very flavorful beef in the beef kebab. The lamb chops were also incredibly tender. Ambiance was that of an authentic street food experience and service was okay. Definitely check this place and the entire block out for some great cuisine!

Shawarma was so delicious. Kebabs were freshly grilled on charcoal and so juicy. This place is a vibe .

Food was tasty, but the service was horrendous. The beef was a bit tough and dry, although I did get a couple pieces that were delicious and juicy. The lule kabob was tasty. The chicken tasted good. The lamb was also good, but did get some dry pieces. My main complaint was their ordering system, which was somewhat confusing as there were no pics on the computerized ordering system. It wasn't so easy to navigate as we had to guess as to what we were ordering. Also, there was no system or order for handing out the food. We entered our names when initially ordering but instead of passing out the order with our names... they just kept calling out the orders itself. Very disorganized! I'll be honest, I came hoping to get Halal Kebab by Farhod but since they weren't there, we settled for this place. Not impressed. It also kinda sucks to get food under a freeway.... Not for a place for the ultra hygienic!

Incredible, authentic halal food cart located on the strip of halal food carts bordered by Figueroa and Sunset (outside the Orsini apartments). My go-to order is always the mixed chicken and beef shawarma, which are always prepared fresh and absolutely massive (see photo - it's legitimately nearly the length of my forearm, from fingertips to elbow). These row of food carts are generally open from 5pm-midnight. FYI, I've been here twice in a week already and don't plan on stopping.

Mr Azizi we enjoy to a fun night waiting for. A very friendly commotion that you guys glide with people tonight Sunday, i

This is the most delicious food I've ever had! The service was amazing, and the girl who helped us was so sweet and friendly.

They were super attentive, friendly and professional. They even knew that we were from out of town and they showed patience and also they appreciated our presence and gave us spot on recommendations. The lamp and beef skewers were delicious, both spicy and non spicy variants. Their signature sweet and sour pork was amazing! I've never had anything like it. Chewy, not overly sweet nor overly sour. Perfection! Thanks to this memorable experience, we will be coming back each time we're in town. Keep up the great work Fei Xiang Gong!

Once we got upstairs though we saw one person cutting vegetables and preparing skewers we thought they were closed, but we were thankful they were not and they had a really great happy hour that my husband and I split. The skewers are amazing and they're just like we had in China. I loved the cold noodles. The banchan a little less variety than what you would get at other places, but it still tasted really healthy and fresh. We were surprised that no other people were there, but we saw a lot of tables that had Plates and napkins on it so it seemed like we were coming at a later part of the lunch hour. I would definitely come back again. I think the skewers were that delicious and the price of the happy hour. It was totally worth it to get the noodles and the skewers together.

The flavors hit the spot, and the extra dressing on the side took it to another level. The lule was perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the rice was on point--fluffy and moist. The hummus had the perfect texture as well. Honestly, I can't complain about the food. I was initially going to complain about the price, but after tasting the flavor and quality, I'd say it was worth every penny. Also, shout-out to Armen--very nice guy who brings some seriously positive energy. I'll definitely be back!

Yesterday we finally had time to come by and it was just okay. I love to see them thriving and see how supportive their client base is. Personally, I was underwhelmed. I have Armenian, Persian, Middle Eastern, and all similar foods ALL the time (and I am Armenian). The Luleh didn't look appealing, but it was actually good. I liked that it wasn't over-seasoned like most places. The chicken kabob was just okay. Nothing really stood out about it, except that it was a little undercooked in the middle, yet still charred on the outside. The flavor of the rice was alright, but the consistency was too watery/ mushy. I liked the humus - the flavors weren't overbearing. Overall, it was okay. The portion was good but the place in general is a little overpriced. Service was alright, the girl taking our order was nice but nothing stood out. PS - no trash cans. When you're done, you have to walk over to a large dumpster to throw your trash in.

Once you're seated, they bring out a few complimentary side dishes (Kimchi, pickled carrot, seaweed, salad and their signature dry spice seasoning. Ordering is easy through the QR code menu. Depending on what you order, some skewers are grilled by the kitchen while others are cooked on the automatic rotating grill right at your table, which adds to the fun dining experience. This visit, I tried: * Lamb Kebab (10 pcs) * Mala Lamb Kebab (5 pcs) * Beef Kebab (10 pcs) * Beef Tendon (5 pcs) * Chicken Heart (5 pcs) * Chicken Gizzard (5 pcs) * Chicken Wings * Quail * Matsutake Mushroom * Green Chives * Cucumber * Eggplant * Pan Fried Bun with Pork & Vegetable The lamb kebab and quail remain my two must-order items after all these years. The lamb is tender and flavorful without having a strong gamey taste, making it a good option even for people who don't usually eat lamb. The mala lamb kebab simply adds a nice layer of numbing spice which I don't find it special. The beef kebab was good as well, although I personally prefer the lamb. Chicken hearts and gizzards were decent. The beef tendon wasn't my favorite this time and didn't seem as fresh. Chicken wings were solid and nicely seasoned. For vegetables, I actually enjoyed the cucumber more than the chives and eggplant. The matsutake mushroom was good, though not particularly memorable. If you're a fan of meat buns, don't skip the pan-fried pork and vegetable bun. The bun itself was soft and fluffy, and I especially enjoyed the savory sauce paired on the side. One helpful tip: after 6 PM, you can park for free in the bank parking lot across the street, which makes finding parking much easier. After more than 15 years, Feng Mao continues to be a reliable spot for skewers, especially if you're dining with friends and want to try a variety of grilled meats and vegetables.

Human interaction adds something important to the dining experience. Today was my first time ordering delivery. The price was significantly higher with fees, yet the food lacked the sauces and flavor I normally experience in person. The small side sauces I usually receive were also missing. I also ordered the $7 hummus for the first time. The portion was substantially smaller than pictured, with whole chickpeas and oil/sauce filling the center. Unfortunately, the hummus itself was very bland and tasted more like basic supermarket hummus. Based on this experience, I would not order delivery again.

Fantastic dinner that is unlike anything I've ever experienced. Truly impressive what Chef Inak is…read moredoing both cooking all of the food and serving as front of house. For two people we ordered four dishes, plus dessert and this was the perfect amount. I've never had Turkish food like this before and don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu, but I particularly enjoyed the Icli Kofte, Mastabe (was skeptical before ordering) and the Cheese Halva with Ice Cream. The Dry Aged Tenderloin was also very good. Know that you are at Sora for the food...this is not a vibey restaurant where the ambiance allows you to linger for hours. At Sora you order at a kiosk and your meal will likely last well under 90 minutes (food comes out fast!). There is also no alcohol. Regardless 100% recommend this very unique spot.

The dining experience is just unique because there's not a lot of one man show restaurants that I can think of. The location is in the Arts District I believe of Downtown LA. But the place is small and there aren't a lot of tables so the service level is still high. It's like a talented friend invited you over for dinner and is feeding you an elevated meal. I'm a big fan of unique dynamic experiences like this. Ordering is from a kiosk after you check in and find your table. I was here with three other people so we were able to order a good variety of items and share. We ordered the icli kofte (kitel), spicy eggplant salad, a salad, pekmez-marinated chicken, grilled branzino, and dry-aged tenderloin shish kebab. Each dish was so delicious. I especially loved the kitel or dumpling. I had the pleasure of trying at a food event months prior to this visit and knew I had to have it again. We ended the meal with some of the desserts - the riz au lait and cheese halva with yuzu-black sesame ice cream. More deliciousness. I need to come back and try more dishes as soon as I can.
