An hour and a half later, I checked at the desk to make certain I had not fallen through the cracks and was told that the tech was going to be doing 2 DEXA scans first, as they were scheduled appointments and X-rays are just walk in. Another hour wait. If you aren't going to schedule me for an Xray, STOP robo calling me asking me to schedule an appointment. Never again. Never.

The front desk employee checking people in around 12:45 p.m. on July 21, 2026 (long dark wavy hair, no name tag) was very unprofessional. She came across as passive-aggressive, rude, and on a power trip. She honestly reminded me of the stereotype people have about TSA employees. This is a medical facility where people are dealing with very serious health problems. A little kindness and compassion go a long way. There is a professional way to enforce policies without making patients feel like they're an inconvenience or talking down to them. I've always had good experiences here, which is why this interaction was so disappointing. I hope management addresses it because the front desk is the first impression patients have, and they deserve to be treated with respect. I now prefer the Mesa location over Gilbert, even though I live here. I did have a good experience with Tiffany, the US technician. She was kind, professional & efficient. Even though this may push out the scan further than with SimonMed, I cannot give them my business based on principle now.

Her name is Tatjana. Her eye contact, genuine smile, internal happiness, genuine empathy, attentive, funny and much more. She made me want to stay at her desk and chat it up! What a winner they have in Tatjana. The staff around her were also friendly, they were laughing together. I also had Jennifer who performed my CT. She was very informative and gentle. She even asked me extensively about what was going on with me; listened and had consultation with empathy. I appreciate everyone here today. I am not well and they made my day better by being themselves.

However, not a lot of places offer this special ultra sound because only certain technicians are able to perform it... Anyways, this location had someone available to do it so I came here for that. The technician was nice and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The procedure room was extremely clean! Unfortunately, the results were a kind of a draw because the images were not great and I had to go get an MRI. I wouldn't recommend getting that kind of ultrasound but I would recommend this imaging facility.
