I got married in July and Tony assisted me in creating a beautiful wedding bouquet for myself and the bridal party with a special touch that I wanted for myself. I looked at a few other places before coming to Azar Florist, the amount that they wanted for faux flowers elsewhere was insane compared to what he charged for fresh flowers. I was able to get what wanted within a reasonable amount. I would definitely recommend Azar Florist. read more

AMAZING experience at Azar's! Diane is wonderful and exemplifies exceptional customer service. I had to rush flowers, at a short notice - within 3 hours, for the wake of a close co-worker's mother. I was in California and the wake was in Houston, TX. I called Diane, explained to her the urgency, shared what I was looking for (occasion-appropriate, classy, understated) and my budget. Diane made it happen! She put together an exquisite arrangement, promptly texted me pictures of the bouquet and the note, edited the note a couple of times to ensure we had it perfectly tailored for the solemn occasion, and waived the delivery fee as the funeral home was close by to her shop. My co-worker had great things to say about the flowers - those happened to the ones her deceased mom really liked! While this was a coincidence, Diane's knowledge of what's works in such situations was exemplary. All in all, an excellent experience...highly recommended! read more

This local florist is just lovely! I was able to place my order online and schedule pickup within an hour! I could have also had the arrangement delivered but I'm so glad I decided to pick up so I could see the place. All of the bouquets were absolutely stunning and all the flowers were in perfect condition. You can tell they truly care about their arrangements here and take their time to make them just right. Everyone was so kind and prices were completely reasonable. Honestly, I would've paid more. I am so pleased with the arrangement I received. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined and is just so beautiful. Seriously, I am so excited that I finally found a great local shop to order my arrangements from. If you are looking for a gorgeous bouquet to show someone you sincerely care, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I promise you won't be disappointed! read more

Poor communication (did not reply to my text) not willing to work within your budget despite claiming they would work within our budget. Will look elsewhere for wedding floral arrangements. read more

Decided on a partial blooming plant arrangement for my mom's day. I'm so super excited that I decided to stop here after passing this place for months. The staff is so awesome, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I even got a baby ivy for my indoor garden that I can't wait to cultivate. I would say the prices are comparable to other florists. They have a decent selection of plant and flowers although I wish there were more options. I have to comment on the sweet smell of flowers when you walk through the door. I really really love this place. read more

I have never been more impressed with a florist. My uncle passed away recently in Houston and my 83-year-old mother was able to attend the funeral. She wanted to purchase the casket piece, and she wanted it to be beautiful. I called Azar Florist and told Dianne that my Aunt would be coming in to order the flowers, but my mother would be paying. Dianne was extremely understanding and compassionate. She took the order and even sent pictures so we could see how gorgeous the casket piece turned out. My brother and I also ordered flowers for the funeral. Overall, we could not have been more pleased. I also have to mention how incredibly reasonable the arrangements turned out to be. I told Dianne my Mom was willing to spend whatever she needed to make her sister happy, and when I received the total amount...I was happily surprised. read more

It seems I've always had difficulty getting quality flowers delivered to my wife in the time requested. Long story short: the company had great communication, reaching out to make sure all the details were just right with the order and everything was to my satisfaction before preparing the arrangement. My wife raved about how beautiful and how good the flowers smelled. Very very happy, this place builds value at every step in the process. They are my florist now! read more

To start off I was recommend to this place by my coworker who's boyfriend always delivers her flowers from here. I've been trying to see what florist I could count on in town to deliver flowers occasionally here and there to my mom and decided to give them a try. It was my mothers birthday coming up on 5/5/2015 so I searched online to see what bouquets they had available and fell in love with a particular one... Being that it's my mom I went all out and decided to get the "premium" bouquet so it can look full, just as described on the Internet. Well upon deliver day not only was it probably literally the last bouquet they delivered but it was absolutely a horrible careless arrangement!!! I honestly felt like they picked up any flowers n just stuck them onto the dry ice in the vase. My mom sent the picture of it, saying how lovely n thanking me and my mouth dropped because I knew I had gotten ripped off. I was literally pissed!!! Here I am paying a "premium" price... $84 to be exact and I literally got a trashy arrangement compared to the one I paid for, even one of flowers was in horrible shape. I was so disappointed and completely upset to know what kind of quality was delivered. My 5 year old daughter probably could have picked out and arranged a better bouquet herself. So in conclusion, if I could I would give them negative stars. Don't waste your time on this florist. You can go to sams club and with the amount of money I paid for this bouquet I could have gotten one 20x better!!!! read more

Small shop but they do have variety of vases to choose from. First if all I just want to thank charbel (shar-bell) the owner picked up the phone and I told him I was down the street and I asked if he could stay open just a little longer for me to come and make to bouquets for my gf and her cousin who just had a baby. He stayed opened longer for me and helped me out with everything. I came the day after Labor Day so he was low on inventory but I made due with what he could help me with. I would definitely come back again. Oh and they have only been open since six months ago read more

Azar Florist did a wonderful job accommodating me during a last minute order I placed. The customer service experience is phenominal and their taste in flower arrangements is simply the best in Houston. Recently picked up flowers for an event! The flowers were great and Diane was very helpful. Will definitely be coming back.

Swung in to pick up an arrangement for my girlfriend. Not real a great place to just pick something up unplanned. However they did have a very nice arrangement that caught my eye. Got a great deal on it as a first time customer and was very popular at my girlfriends school. I'll certainly use again. The place could use some cleaning and removal of the dead bugs in the lights. read more
