Wish I had looked up their abysmal reviews before doing business here. Took my watch to Azad Watches for polishing. Went about my usual business from there. The watch is a 3 atm-rated Cartier tank solo watch (water resistant up to 30 meters). I have had this watch for almost three years, and have worn it daily for light day-to-day water-related activities and NEVER had any issues with it until taking it to Azad Watches. The watch absorbed water and became completely unusable. As soon as I was able, I opened up the watch to find that it was not only completely rusted out, but that the the waterproofing gasket was snapped (the cause of the water intake in the first place). They either knew that they had broken the gasket when they took apart and reassembled the watch, or they broke it and didn't bother to test or examine it. When I came back to them with this issue, not only did they refuse to do anything about it or accept any responsibility whatsoever, but one of their representatives blamed the entire situation on me, and another representative came up to heckle and taunt me throughout the process. The movement is completely unusable. The gasket is broken. The dial will never be the same again. I took it to someone who actually knows what they are doing (see photos from the watch repair shop) -- their verdict: BEST case, their lack of professional standards has cost me $1,000 to $2,000. read more
