AZ1 is a top of the line smoke shop. Service is timely but also George is well informed. If you're not sure what you want he will educate you and give recommendations if asked. I didn't have the right ash catcher for my setup and George showed me a different, newer version and explained how it was superior to what I was using in the past. I have friends that upon meeting George and having a positive experience at AZ1, go out of their way to shop at this location. Between the selection and George's input, I always find something that suits my needs. They don't call George the glass guru for nothing!! read more

I can't begin to say enough about the AZ1 Smoke Shop! For over 25+ years I've been in dozens of smoke shops all over the Phx Metropolitan Area. In my opinion, AZ1 is by far, The BEST!! They have everything! I was fairly new to vaping a while back and didn't have a clue re what I needed to start. The service I received was OUTSTANDING!! These guys are so knowledgeable, accommodating and just plain NICE They immediately made me feel welcomed and like I was their most important customer!! I usually go to a smoke shop down the street from my house, but I was in Phoenix today and wanted to pick up a Vapo...so that's what I did :) The guy working the desk (I don't know his name so we'll call him Bob) wasn't wearing a mask. I didn't mind, I got my Vapo and wanted to test it out to which Bob allowed me to. While trying it out I noticed that there was a rack of racks (porn) out in the middle of the store. Not long after, I noticed a man and what looked like his 12 year old brother enter the store. Now if I were Bob, I would first change my name. Then, I would have directed the boy out of the store while I sold the man his product. However, Bob allowed the boy to stay in the smoke shop as he made the transaction with the customer. Now, I didn't get to know Bob very well, but as the only employee in the store, I know that he has the authority to refuse service. It is my 100% belief that smoke shop employees should refuse service and not allow kids into their store. Yes, the kid's going to be exposed to Lisa Ann eventually, but how about all the fancy looking bongs, wall of tobacco, and brightly colored edibles? Even I know I'm making a horrible decision when I go into a smoke shop, I only do it because I'm addicted and weak. Kids at that age have a magnificent amount of potential, and we only hurt their chances at reaching it when we expose them to these vices. As a community and even a species, it falls on all of us to take on the burden of making each other better today than we were yesterday. It's my fault for not stepping in, it's Bob's fault for for not stepping in, and it's our fault as a species for even having a need for a store that sells vices. If we want change, then we need to suffer. We need to be stronger, smarter, and most importantly...good. I believe this can be a very successful business in today's era, but just know that every cigarette sold makes us all one cigarette weaker. If you're reading this Bob, I believe in you and hope you can unleash your full potential for good. Absolutely gross right before I walked in they're are homeless people filled around this meth giving smoke shop the owners don't seem to care much at all as long as business remains intact and the workers and are just high af all the time can't even talk to them and they're overpricing everything here I recommend going to another smoke shop for better quality materials and glass period. these people are obviously very fake and and obviously scammy I recommend coughing canary over any smoke shop this place needs to be closed down just gross roach infested place with homeless all around. read more
