It's been there for about 10 years and the old Quartz mechanism no longer worked. However, Ward was able to replace the mechanism so it works again! Brand new pendulum and clock hands too! It even has a speaker that can be adjusted on/off, different sounds, volume, and off at night! I am so happy with it , I just wish my Mom was here to see it. But now it can go back up on the wall. It's a beautiful piece and I will always think of my Mom when the time strikes haha but seriously Ward was awesome! It was done within basically 48 hours! Paid just over $400 expecting a solid fix. About two weeks later, the watch stopped working. I brought it back and was told it was still under warranty, so they "resolved" it, but also mentioned I'd likely need to replace a faulty part soon. If that part was faulty, why wasn't it caught and addressed during the original service? That's what the service should have covered. To make things worse, user negligence was subtly implied, despite the fact that the watch had run flawlessly for nearly a decade until the service. It has now stopped working again and doesn't run at all. Also noticed the dial isn't properly aligned after the service. It's subtle, but definitely wasn't an issue before. I came in with a cosmetic issue and left with a non-functioning watch and unanswered questions. I'll be taking it elsewhere for a proper, transparent repair.

Jerry had it fixed in no time, while I waited, said the chains had gotten off track because it wasn't properly prepared for the move. He showed me how to do that, and gave me a whole lot of info on the clock...how to hang it, how to level it by ear, not using a bubble level, etc etc. what a wealth of info he has, and so kind and willing to share his knowledge.
