Frank came to may house to look at my grandfather clock that decided not to run, I had made an appt. He called to confirm and called saying he was on his way and arrived on time. Took the clock apart oiled,repaired, etc. Told me more about the clock that I had known since I had it for 40yrs. Was friendly cleaned up and a reasonable fee. They will take your clock apart, inspect it, tell you what's wrong for NO CHARGE. I brought my old gingerbread clock in to be looked at and it turned out that it needed $300 in repairs. There is no way I will spend $300 in repairs on a $100 clock. Plus, I don't have $300. Frank (I think was his name) was very understanding did not try to do repairs that wouldn't last for a lesser price. If you have a clock that you want repaired, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOOSE. I think it took around 2 weeks for me to get my clock back. BUT, it is a clock, not a car. I don't care if it takes 2 weeks, months whatever. read more

Great place! I popped in at noon, by chance, in time to hear every clock in the shop chiming 12. The owner was able to help me with my Black Forest cuckoo clock--without an appointment. It was a simple fix and he didn't even charge me! And he made a couple other fine-tuning adjustments that made it sound beautiful again (it had been sounding slightly "rattley" since we moved). Frank at All About Time did an amazing job restoring my grandmother's grandfather clock. It took several months between fixing the cabinet (dinged from a few moves) and restoring the clock, but it arrived today and is chiming away as beautifully as it did twenty years ago. OK....I posted a great review for All About Time Clock Repair for the house call, fixing our 30+ year old Howard Miller Coffee Table Clock... UNFORTUNATELY, it only worked for one day... BUT...I was about to call them back to report it quit working when I got a call from them, checking on the clock and my satisfaction. I had to tell them it had quit working. At their request I sent them photos of this clock and they contacted Howard Miller. (this is about 42" diameter, glass top table clock).. I was told that they would get back to me after researching with Howard Miller again.. About a week later they called and reported that Howard Miller had sent another, different model, hour-hand mechanism. They came out and installed the newer recommended unit and made all the adjustments necessary... This clock is still running like new.. What fantastic customer service and follow up!!! The middle weight on my grandfather clock was the only one descending and the chime was a bit off when I turned the volume on, I tried to fix it myself but nothing worked and so I called All About Time Clock Repair and left a message describing the problem with my clock and Frank called me back and explained what the problem may be and it happened to be exactly what he said! So I was able to get the other weights to descend and the chime was off because I had it on silent most of the time. Within two hours I could see the weights all descending ever so slightly and the chime was correct with the striking hour and every quarter hour! I was so impressed. Most places won't even give you an idea without throwing out there house visits and prices. Let alone actually tell you how to fix it over the phone free of charge. I will be calling All About Time Clock Repair in the future for my clocks service and will not even consider anyone else! They have a customer for life. Thanks! read more

A neighbor recommended Franks all about time and so I took him a wall clock which he fixed well and it worked fine. I did take him an unreasonable amount of time to do the work though. In October I brought him another clock. This one had only hands that flopped around although the clock ran well. About 3 weeks later, I received a call saying it was gonna' cost this much and he'd have it ready the week after thanksgiving. Bear in mind that he had from October to late November to inspect it, repair it, etc. Anyway, two and a half weeks after Thanksgiving I called to find out when I could pick up the clock not having heard otherwise from him. I was then told that although the clock hands probably needed replacement, he had gone into the clock works and now it doesn't work. Would need a complete overhaul to the tune of 400$ and would take him 10 MONTHS to get around to starting repair. If you have a lot of time to wait and a lot of money to spend this is the place to go. read more

Have had 2 clocks repaired and one clock serviced. All were done well and am pleased with the level of service for the quality received. The only concern I might mention is that he is so busy that repairs will take a while, a few months.
