Troy did a fantastic job on the installation of recessed lighting for my home. He came in to discuss what we wanted to do and explained us how he can do it with different options. He also gave us an opportunity to look at a model installation he had done in our community. He gave us an estimate of the total cost of the project with each line item explained properly. The day of the install, he should at exactly the same time he mentioned he will start the work. He covered all the furniture and the floor with plastic to prevent it from getting dirty from the dust from the holes that he had to drill into the ceiling for the lights. We had him install 7 brand new recessed lights and got our kitchen recessed lights converted to the new modern recessed lights. Everything was done in a professional and clean way. He also installed a new ceiling fan for us and rewired the switches properly to work with the recessed lights. The work area was vaccum cleaned after the install was finished. The payment requested was exactly the same amount that was quoted to us. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of the work. I would recommend Troy and AZ Recessed Lighting to anybody for their recessed light installation. He is very professional and does quality work. We really love the new lights and will enjoy then for a long time. read more

We wanted recessed lighting to brighten up the living room in our home and we contacted AZ Recessed Lighting, after seeing positive reviews on Yelp. Troy was very courteous and prompt when I contacted him over the phone. He provided me a quote within 30 minutes of my call to him after checking such details of the living room area, ceiling height, whether a 1 floor home or 2 floor home and whether there is an existing fan or not in that area. He was honest to say that 4 recessed lights would be sufficient and that 6 will not be required. I liked that he was upfront about any potential additional costs that may arise (in case they had to drill though a beam; which finally we did not have to incur). I found their quote reasonable and transparent with breakdown of costs. They came over to install promptly on the agreed date and time. Though he said it may take 4 hours, Troy and his assistant completed the job within less than 3 hours; the installation was professional, they took care to cover the furniture and they cleaned up without leaving any trace of any residue / dust that arises from drilling to install the lights. Thank you Troy as our living room looks wonderful; an outcome of a professional job done well by Troy and his assistant. I will surely recommend this company to my friends for similar work. read more

I would highly recommend AZ Recessed Lighting and plan on having Troy and Jared come back to install more recessed lighting in the next 6 to 8 months. Troy and Jared are very polite and professional, Troy was true to his word and arrived on time for the estimate and then to complete the two jobs. One was to remove the old 80's dome lighting in my kitchen and install 4 recessed lights and added crown molding(Awesome Job), he also installed a recessed light in my entry way that required rewiring of a light that had been mounted to the wall and completely rewiring two outlets that had been connected to the light on the wall another job well done. The price he quoted was very reasonable and he finished a head of the scheduled time. I thought their attention to detail and clean up where exceptional. Thank you Troy and Jared for the exceptional job you did and looking forward to the next job. :) read more

Oh my gosh, we love our new recessed lighting in our kitchen. We had track lighting attached to our 17 foot ceiling that made it near impossible to change the bulbs, when needed. Not knowing what we wanted or who to turn to, we found AZ Recessed Lighting, We picked the right one. We talked to Troy who came to our home and gave us some great suggestions. After we chose what we wanted, he gave us the price, set the date he would be to our home. He and his assistant arrived on time. They were very professional and did a great job. They installed 5 recessed lights & a dimmer switch, which makes our kitchen look awesome. Patch work was very well done and mess was totally cleaned up. We highly recommend AZ Recessed Lighting for your future lighting needs. read more

I was referred to Arizona Recessed Lighting by a friend for a repair of an outdoor sensor light. Troy Noto was fantastic to work with. He returned my call within an hour. He was able to diagnose remotely what I needed, inform me of the day and time that he could do the repair, and give me the cost. On the day of the repair, he texted me that he was on his way. He was polite, professional, and did a great job. I am so impressed with Arizona Recessed Lighting. It's rare that one can find a company that answers a phone, actually shows up at the appointed time, communicates with the customer, and shows courtesy and professionalism. This describes ARL. We've hired Troy for several lighting jobs in the past and we've always been very pleased with his work. Because he'd already earned our total trust, we recently asked him to install a Transfer Switch in our home to accommodate a portable generator (in case of power outage). This is a complex job that must be done right, no room for error. Despite this not being Troy's primary focus (which is lighting), he and Ryan took the job and accomplished it with all of the superior professionalism we've come to expect of him. From start to finish, AZ Recessed Lighting does not disappoint. Troy is a very conscientious and attentive craftsman, and I do not hesitate in recommending him for anyone's lighting or electrical needs. read more

If you read my tip for this company you'd see I was extremely satisfied with their work. I had AZ Recessed Lighting install 25 recessed lights and 5 dimmer switches. They were very polite and professional through the whole process of the project. I changed a few things during the job, however they were able adapt to the changes and still finish on time. I have to say... I was pretty impressed they were able to get all the work done in one days time. They have a great system from start to finish. I will be recommending them to all my family and friends for lighting and electrical work. I hope this review was helpful. read more

I can't say enough good things about Troy! I had him install 4 LED recessed lights in our living room. He was so friendly, explaining step by step what he was doing. His follow up afterwards to ensure we were happy was a complete surprise but I know now that this is his normal practice! I was so happy I hired him again to install motion lights for my parents and they too couldn't be happier. I will continue to use AZ Recessed Lighting for all my electrical needs. read more

Everything about my experience with AZ Recessed Lights was fantastic!! Not only did Troy and his associate replace my 90's cans for lovely modern lights, leaving the area as clean as it was when they arrived, but they discovered that my skylight was 100x better than I knew it to be (and I've been living in my house for a year.) The price was exactly the quote I was given and very reasonable. Planning to have more lights installed soon. read more
