Went in to get some redness removed. Within 30 mins, my face started to blister after they said it would only get a bit redder. I'm I have pigmentation issues from the scarring where it blistered up. I prepaid for future session because they had a "deal" and it was the "last day". Now they won't refund me the prepaid amount and want me to keep going to them instead. I spoke to Rebecca who it shows on linked in she's the owner, but when I spoke up her she said she's just a specialist and she'll need to contact the owner because they have a no refund policy. I originally went to AZ Laser Clinic to get midface threading and a little volume added to my lips with a syringe of Juvaderm. The woman who does the threading wasn't in the office. I proceeded with the filler and then they were telling me about Kybella (injected into chin/neck area) which is supposed to dissolve the fat in that area. "It will give you a great V shape." I was reluctant but agreed. Also, as I was paying the bill, they were in so many words pressuring me into botox. So back into the room and another $400 later.....grand total of $1,700. After the swelling went down in my lips, I noticed these good size bumps with deep crevices between them. (Swelling and bruising for the Kybella, chin area, took almost 2 weeks to subside) I called them to let them know that the bumps were very noticeable and that I needed it to be "fixed". They set up an appt and the office manager came in and said "well I can't just open a syringe of Juvaderm to fix that for you, you'll have to buy one." Well, isn't that what I did to begin with....?! She then proceeds to tell me "you have another vial of Kybella that you purchased (that I was NEVER made aware of and they NEVER tried to set up a 2nd appt for the other treatment. So were they ever going to tell me about the 2nd vial...?) that we can swap for a syringe of Juvaderm." Again, I'm upset that I'm paying for their mistake and also for not being informed AT ALL about the other vial of product I purchased. I decided to go back and let them "fix" their mistake, at my expense. Again, I get home swelling has subsided and I have 3 very noticeable bumps, with deep crevices between them, AGAIN! I'm going to call them 1 more time. If they don't agree to fix this w/o the cost coming out of my pocket,....I will be seeing them in court. I have been very nice thus far and even with the deception of the product I purchased and was unaware of, went back the 2nd time, to get no better results after swelling went down. Wasted over $700 here. My 'consultation' involved someone looking at my face from 6 feet away and saying it takes 3 chemical peels to remove the sun spots on my face. Today, during my 3rd peel, I told them it has not improved at all, and she told me I should have done laser. These clinics don't provide the end result they say they will. My wife and I were promised certain results and spent about $5000 witht them (both clinics) and results were slim to none. Results they promised or advertised even after speaking to them and asking them how they'd make it right really took us nowhere. We spoke to the girl at the Glendale location last who said she'd speak to her manager and see how they could help us and it's been 5 months now and still waiting for her callback. I'll update her name once I can remember. Don't trust these people or better yet, only believe 20% of what they promise you because they don't stand behind their work. They are morally and ethically not keeping their word to their customers. stay away and take your money elsewhere. I'm seeing alot of horrible reviews for this place. I'd like to share my experience. Let me start by saying I manage a Nektar and I understand that a few untrained employees doesn't make Nektar bad. Just like the few experiences these people had doesn't make the clinic a bad clinic. Maybe they had bad management at the time. Or inexperienced techs. All I know is I didn't experience any of this. Looking at all of the negative reviews and dates of the reviews it looks like it was when it was hard to find quality employees. People were being given covid relief still. I know I experienced it at my store. Just offering a little perspective. I hope they see this and I hope they have a chance to make it up to you and show u who they showed me. My appointment here today went very smoothly. I tried this place due to a Groupon deal and they were very professional and organized upon check-in. I waited about 10 min before being taken in for my treatment and the doctor I saw was quick and made the procedure almost painless. The waiting room was kind of sparse in decor, no beverages or new magazines so I don't think it reaches 5 -star level but I would definitely return. I had an amazing facial here! The space is clean, inviting and relaxing. Park in the lot south of the building, it is less crowded. After an hour of pampering my skin was glowing! Pros: Friendly staff, great service - laser here is a pretty painless procedure. Easy to set an appointment to your liking. They are thorough and quick (so I'm usually in and out in under 20 minutes - although I'm only doing a small area, other areas and larger areas might take longer). Clean facility and clean machinery. Little to no wait time, max maybe 5 minutes. Cons: The first time I went in the technician put me at a low setting and it didn't do anything for me. Luckily the second time I went in the technician noticed that the setting was too low the first time and wanted me to see results, so asked if it were alright to bump up the setting. She apologized for the other technician's mistake. Other than that, I would say overall it's been a good experience. They are priced at what you'd expect not cheap, but not over-priced. Horrible experience last two visits. Had a micro needling done and the specialist decided to use a peel at the end that I had prepaid for and I didn't know about until I was scheduling my next visit. The next time I had laser done and the girl completely went all over the place like she was on drugs or something. Staying on spots cooking my face and at Least 4 inches away from the to be treated area. I have had the same procedure done at least 4 times before and had never had an issue. I had scabs all over both sides of my face for over a week. I would not recommend them due to these horrible experiences not to mention the upselling tactics they are pushing since Julie has left. read more

This laser burns like a mofo. I almost didn't go back for all my treatments and I am a light Caucasian. I can't imagine how badly it burns for darker skin tones! I went here because I purchased a groupon for laser hair removal. My experience completely depended on who was doing the treatment. My first two appointments were really bad. Carmen (who is the manager of the business and/or owner) did a horrible job. She was lazy and did the laser treatment as fast as possible, missing about half of my legs. I've had laser treatments done before, and to do a full set of legs normally takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Her treatments took about 10-15 minutes! I was also burned both times, and the second burn was quite severe! She had an assistant that did half of the treatment who was just as bad (probably because they were under her tutelage), and to be fair, it was the assistant who burned me both times. For my next four appointments, I went and saw Julia, who was wonderful. I would give her five stars on her own! So if you do go here for laser hair removal, ask for Julia. She was thorough and did a great job. The AZ Laser & Skin Rejuvination Centers also don't feel very professional. It didn't really feel like it was being regulated well by a supervising physician. I'm not sure if my feeling is correct, it's just what my gut is telling me. I was told that the physician only drops by every now and then to check in. I give this place one star because of Carmen, but if you go and see Julia, I'm sure you will have a good experience. read more

Found this place due to Groupon. Got brazilian area treated, and was seeing success, but my laser tech who is super friendly does the treatment so fast, she skips over huge areas, and that is very obvious at the end of my package. Areas of hair loss are super patchy, and if my tech had been consistent with laser pulses, the treatment would have been a success. If you are thinking about using them, I can't help but think that they give discount treatment to discount customers- especially in large areas where you can't see the treatment. I have one treatment left, and I'm going to say something to her about it. I had canceled an appointment over the phone (they require 24 hours notice) and they claimed they never got my message, and took away one of my pre-paid appointments. read more

When I called to schedule my appointment it took several weeks to get in because the hours that they offered for the Botox treatments were limited. I asked at the time if I could have numbing cream before my Botox injections because I REALLY don't like needles. They said "yes, for a fee of $20". It was free with my Botox at a medi spa that I have been to in the past, but overall, I was just glad that they had it so that I could be more comfortable during my treatment. They asked me to come in 30 minutes prior to my appointment so that I could put the cream on and wait for it to take effect. I called the day of my appointment to confirm the time to come in early for the numbing cream (no one had called me to confirm my appointment) and they confirmed my time and that 30 minutes early for the cream would be good. So when I arrived the person at the desk said. "Let me make sure we have some of the cream". I started to panic! Wouldn't this be something they would check in advance of my arrival? What if they didn't have it? Would I have to tough it out, or wait another 6 weeks to reschedule? Luckily, they had the cream. She allowed me to pay for it and then told me to take a seat in the lobby. I sat and waited for awhile but it was now nearly 15 minutes into my scheduled time to start the cream. I went back up to the desk and asked if I shouldn't be waiting in a room with the cream on my face instead if wasting time in the lobby and she agreed and put me in a room right away with the cream. I sat for 20 minutes with the cream on before the nurse arrived. She came in and nonchalantly told me that she couldn't administer Botox to someone with numbing cream on because I wouldn't be able to move my muscles for her to know where to inject me. She said it was outside the standard of practice to use numbing cream for Botox. I told her that I had had it before and the Botox turned out great and she was defensive and would not listen to me. She insisted on "winning" and told me that she had been administering Botox for 9 years and had never heard of anyone using it. I told her that I had paid for the cream and would prefer to leave it on for the full 30 minutes and she promptly wiped it off of my forehead before I realized what she was doing. Why would they offer the cream to me for $20 if it was outside the standard of practice for the Botox injections? The nurse was aggressive, defensive, and very rude. If she really couldn't administer Botox with the use of numbing cream, then why did she do it anyway? I was able to make all the muscle movements that she requested of me with no problem. The numbing cream just numbs the surface of the skin, not the muscles! It probably doesn't even help that much but it's piece of mind for this needle phob! After the procedure she left the room and told me she was going to find my chart. I didn't know if I needed to sign something, or why she was telling me she needed my chart right then so I waited for her to return. She did not give any aftercare instructions, ask me if I had any questions, say "goodbye" or "thank you", or do anything to lead me to believe that we were finished. I thought she was coming right back. I sat in the room for 10 more minutes wondering if she was planning to return. Finally I went out to look for her and no one was at the front desk. I walked up to another nurse who seemed very friendly and asked her if she knew if the other nurse was returning. By then the front desk person had returned and she said, "Oh, the nurse said she thought you were sitting around waiting for the numbing cream to wear off". REALLY? Why not check on me, or let me know that we are finished? She was unbelievably rude! Unfortunately my experience at AZ Laser was very unpleasant and I would never return nor recommend it to anyone else. read more

It was over a year that I went here to have my abs lasered for hair removal and I never posted a review. I should have. I always went to National Laser Institute, but I went here on a groupon. First, they only planned on lasering my lower abs. I had been to the NLI for the same body part and they always did both upper and lower abs. I complained and so they agreed to do both. Then the woman BURNED me! I kept telling her it was too hot, so she placed her hand over the spot after each zap to make it more bearable, so it took forever, and was still super painful. When I left, I had dozens of red circles all over my abs and it was very tender, unlike any treatment I'd had at NLI. They lingered for about a week before turning BROWN! MONTHS later there were STILL faint brown circles on my abs! I showed them to NLI and they said, "She burned you." I called management, told them what happened, and told them I'd never come back. At least as of a year ago, this place does not have technicians that are qualified to be doing laser hair removal and I will never go back. read more

I went here because I had a Groupon. I've been to several other places for botox before and never had any problems. Until I came here. Didn't have to wait long before being taken back to the room by the nurse. While she was getting everything prepared she commented on how she had just eaten lunch and was tired. Not what I wanted to hear from someone about to inject my forehead. Then her cell phone rang and instead of silencing it she picked it up and made her vacation plans while drawing up the botox. I had to wait until her call was completed, then she began to aggressive stab and inject the botox into six sites on my forehead. I was appalled at the manner in which it was done. I'm an RN, and I've had this done many times before, and this is NOT how you inject. She then took her thumbs and firmly rubbed the spots she had injected as if she were spreading it around. This is WRONG!!! Now I'm left with a huge bruise on my forehead. I'm lucky that it's the worst thing that happened from this visit. I would never go back, no matter how cheap or how good of a deal it is. read more

I went to the Glendale office and also not a good experience. I have had Botox many times and it lasts me 6-8 months. The person who administered it said I should get a good 6 months. In 2 months it was totally gone. I tried to reach someone for 2 wks. and noone would call back. When I finally got ahold of someone they said I should come in. I told them I was going on vacation so could not come in for 2 more weeks but had taken pictures which showed the date. I said if they weren't going to redo it I did not want to make the trip which was out of my way. They insisted I come in.. When i did come in they took 15 minutes to find my chart and then told me since it was 3 months they couldn't do anything. I was angry because I had asked that on the phone and now wasted 90 minutes driving time. I was told , "Sorry, maybe you should complain to Groupon." Unreal!! Won't EVER go back and don't recommend this place. I am not even expecting Groupon to refund my money but hopefully will take this place off their list. read more
