Tonight I saw Tresca, and I left in a total daze. I cannot remember the last time I felt so physically relaxed. I am pretty sure I fell asleep in the session and I can't remember the last time that's happened either. Tresca offered pain relief and in a way that was so calming my entire system settled- and that is beyond amazing to and for me, I am very grateful. I love the north Scottsdale location of the NOW- from the moment you walk in, the scent starts working on your mood and the sounds of the ocean in the treatment area drowns out the noise. There are several amazing therapists there and I'm so glad I can add Tresca to the list.

The complimentary massage was with Trang, who did a fantastic job. It was clear that she was talented and paid attention to my areas of focus/concern. She also provided a full 80 minutes of her time, as expected. Had my original experience been with Trang, The NOW would have received an easy 5-star review from me. I am changing my overall rating to 4/5 due to the hassle and frustration I originally had to deal with. That said, management and ownership did the right thing. Bad experiences (or just bad fits) can happen, but the difference between a good business and a bad one is what management and ownership do to address those issues. 5 stars to management and ownership, 5 stars to Trang, and 4 stars overall given my specific experience. I can comfortably recommend this location, as long as you are willing to speak up if you don't get what you deserve. After my first experience, I would not have considered this location in the future. After management/ownership intervened, and after my experience with Trang, I can confidently say I will return, and if my experience is anything like the one I had with Trang, I'll be happy to follow up with a 5-star review.

I messaged Gina and explained what our needs were. She was very empathetic and welcomed to us to book a session right away. Her massage retreat is located adjacent to a lovely yoga studio. The entire space is welcoming and calming. Her treatment room is inviting and smells divine. When I introduced my mother-in-law to Gina, I knew instantly that she was in good hands. My body is well past using massage therapy for pampering; I need it for relief from aches and pains. Out of desperation, I walked into Lemon Tree Massage for a same-day, 90-minute upper body massage. My shoulders and neck were feeling like concrete and they hurt. My massage therapist was very friendly, but she was not an expert in muscle anatomy. Therefore, the massage was not as helpful as I needed it to be. I paid $100 for a 90-minute massage plus a 20% tip. I tipped her for her effort and professionalism even though I left disappointed. She checked in throughout the massage for desired pressure, but she was definitely more accustomed to massage for relaxation versus therapeutic relief. A few more notes...There was no table warmer, which was fine by me, but you get the gist this is a no-frills experience. There is no neck cradle on the massage table; you're given a donut pillow.
