There was really no communication because of the language barrier. There are very few massage therapists that truly 'get it'. Bella indeed has healing hands! Not all massage therapists understand and 'feel' the connection between muscle, bone, ligaments, fascia & the mind. Let me tell you, she NAILED it. Her touch and exploration of my trouble areas, then diving in with the solution with cupping and triggered massage was exactly what I would've done. Her communication throughout, her questions, her gentle silence was perfect. Her technique with muscle stretching and triggered massage points was spot on. What I experienced instead was unprofessional, disruptive, and completely unacceptable. Within the first few minutes of the session, my massage therapist abruptly left the room without explanation, returning several minutes later. Shortly after, she disappeared again--this time for even longer. Moments later, there was a knock at the door. It was a police officer instructing me to get dressed immediately. The business was being raided. According to the officer, there were issues with the establishment's paperwork. Based on the circumstances, it's hard not to question whether there were additional problems behind the scenes. Regardless, the result for me as a paying customer was the same: a completely interrupted service that was never delivered. When I went to the front desk to request a refund, I was initially refused--despite multiple police officers standing in the lobby. Only after raising my voice and firmly insisting on being reimbursed did the staff return my $70 in cash. No customer should have to argue to get their money back for a service that was clearly not provided. If this business reopens, I would strongly advise others to think twice before returning. At a minimum, customers deserve professionalism, transparency, and basic accountability. Based on this experience, Lemon Tree Massage failed on all three.
