First time here - Worked with Jesse who really knows her business, very impressed. They stuck to the quote I was given over the phone and wasn't pressured into any other services. Facility is clean and the waiting area has wifi, comfortable sofas and two computers. read more

I want to say THANK YOU to Jessie and Jeff and the whole staff. They were the most helpful and honest Auto shop I have dealt with. Took in my daughters car for repair (based on what another shop had told us). Much to our surprise AZ Automasters did a complete inspection and determined it didn't need what we were told. They made a simple $125 repair and we were in our way. Even the mechanic (I can't remember his name) came out and personally talked to us and allowed me to show him what I thought the issue was. Additionally they treated my daughter with respect and honesty (she went in by herself). Jeff listened to her concerns and addressed her as an adult and was extremely professional and helpful (she is only 17). I highly recommend the shop to anybody who is considering it. They have definitely earned our future business! read more

I brought my german performance vehicle in to have an oil leak checked out. Chris told me that my bi turbo chargers were failing, and were both leaking. He expected them to blow within 6 months. It has been 8 months and 12,000 strong miles (I horse the vehicle a lot!) and my turbo chargers run really good, and boost hard, no issues at all. The oil leak ended up being the banjo fitting to one turbo, and a valve body leak (diagnosed by two other shops). On a second occassion, where I thought they couldn't mess up an AC diagnosis, they told me my Compressor was not getting voltage and that it was leaking refrigerant. They told me that the whole system MUST be replaced. I thought this seemed a little off as the refrigerant had good levels. I took it to two other shops, and they both told me the same thing: The compressor is getting fine voltage, is not leaking, and is just inoperable. read more

Initially I went to AZ automasters out of convenience since they're walking distance from my house. I've been there several times over the last couple of years and have always been happy with them. They do a good job of clearly explaining what the problem is, what the options are, costs/timelines, etc. I haven't needed a ton of work on my car but I've had them do a bunch of oil changes, front brakes, and some A/C work, all of which was done quickly and at a reasonable price. Also I know a lot of times places with oil change coupons (esp some of the chains) get you in and try to upsell you on nonsense like fuel injector flushes or turn signal fluid or whatever. These guys are much better about that sort of thing, and they'll really only make it a point when you need it. read more

My AC was blowing hot air. Stephanie at the front desk was personable, professional and very honest. She took the time to explain the issues and make sure my vehicle was properly diagnosed and fixed accordingly. It turned out that the issue was not my condenser at all, as I was previously told at Car Life. Stephanie recommended an electrical test which was able to show that the compressor was the source of the problem as it was not engaging when supplied with current. They offered me a quote to change out my compressor which was reasonable, but I decided to get a brand new AC kit to be safe! They had it installed the next day on Saturday and I'm very happy with everything! Thanks! read more

I was a little slow in writing a review on this place. If I had done it a while back it would have likely been five stars. I only give it four now because the store manager changed and has lowered the bar a little. Still, as far as auto repair shops go this place has been well above average. UPDATE: The change in personnel has changed this place considerably, and the changes have not been good. I have moved on to another repair shop and can no longer recommend this business. I still give it two stars because the owner seems to have good intentions and the desire to make things right, but the people running the shop clearly cannot match his expectations. read more

This place is fantastic! I know nothing about autos, and because of that, I'm always nervous going to a mechanic. After a bad experience with a previous mechanic, I've been here twice now, once for my 90K service a few months ago, and again today. I had a brake switch problem that prevented my brake lights from shutting off. I checked in and sat down for what I expected to be a 2 hour wait. They had me out within 30 min and provided terrific service! So glad I found this place! read more

Not the cheapest, but definitely the most thorough. Where others would have thrown their hands up in horror at the condition of my poor neglected and abused (not by me!) Crown Vic, Chris and his techs pushed through and got her back into good running condition. Once my poor abused (yes, by me) credit card cools off, we'll be coming back to finish restoring her. read more

I have been bringing my vehicles here for about 10 years. Mike and his staff have always been honest and fair with all my repairs. I would highly recommend to anyone needing an honest and highly skilled auto repair facility. read more

Very impress for my first visit with an oil change. . They provided a very extensive review of what my car needed for repair. They were not pushy or demanding. Very responsible on there pricing. This may be my go to mechanic for my autos. read more

These guys are REALLY GREAT. My girlfriend brought her old truck into them for a power-steering issue. The dx'd and fixed the issue without taking advantage of her limited knowledge. Very trustworthy. read more

I was referred by a few of my neighbors on Nextdoor.com. When I called, I was greeted warmly. I was surprised and pleased that Mary was able to get me in the same day for an oil change and diagnosis. When I arrived I was greeted by name. I waited in the customer lounge and was impressed with the comfortable seating, free wifi and internet cafe set up. The oil change was quick and the explanation of parts/repairs included timeframes and an estimate of pricing. Status updates were completed in a timely, friendly manner and when all was said and done, came in less than the original estimate! Pretty amazing! read more

Honest and operate with integrity. I've brought two of my vehicles there and I fully trust the recommendations from their technicians. I will be using them as my auto shop going forward and I recommend others to do so as well. read more

THANK YOU AZ Automasters for fixing my air conditioning in my truck for over $400.00 LESS than the competitor down the street quoted me!! My son Jake swears you are the best place in town and has been taking his vehicles there and referring his friends for years and now I know why! I know he has taken my truck there for oil changes, brakes and other things but this is the first time I PERSONALLY KNOW how much I saved by bringing my truck to you! Bring on the AZ heat!! :) read more

This place is great, clean, friendly and helpful. I previously bought windshield whippers and an air filter and AZ Automasters agreed to switch them out for me as a courtesy. Talk about customer service. Oil change was quick and painless. No BSing me with things I don't need like Danny's Car Wash always does. All in all A+ experience. This is my new go to. read more

We have taken our cars to AZ Automasters in the past and had great results. This week we took our Kia to an automotive chain for an oil change and they told us we needed $600 of work including new rear brakes and fixing a leak in an A/C hose. Wanting a second opinion before spending that much money, we took the car to AZ Automasters and asked them to give the car a thorough inspection as we were going to be taking it on a road trip. We were amazed to hear that the car was in great shape, did not need ANY work and that the brakes have another 15-20,000 miles on them. There was NO CHARGE! We are impressed! Thank you! read more

I was told to try AZ Automasters by one if their loyal customers. Since I've never been able to find a descent long term mechanic in Arizona who I could trust I decided I had nothing to lose. From the moment I walked in the door I knew I was in the right place. It was spotless. The folks behind the counter were busy but acknowledged me immediately and thanked me for being patient. They gave me an estimate within twenty minutes, showed me beyond a shadow of a doubt what was wrong with my Jeep, gave me a price and time and they stuck to them! I was shocked! I have tried so many mechanics in Arizona, but have now found my permanent "go-to" shop. And, by the way, the waiting room is really great too. Good coffee and fast internet. read more

Hands down the best auto place in Chandler. Honest guys with really reasonable prices. I've gotten my brake fluid ($35), front brake pads ($130), back brakes cleaned ($58), and car alignment done here. I've always been able to bring in my car in at most 2-3 days after I called. Couple of times I was serviced in the same day. Waiting area is spacious (accurate to pix posted) and has WIFI. I've always received awesome, honest service. I won't even bother with other car shops since I've always got the best service & lowest pricing here. read more

I went here for an oil change and I got more than I asked for! Upon paying for the service he advised he had performed a complete inspection of the vehicle and everything was acceptable. He checked out all the hoses, belts, let me know I had 60% of my brake pads left, etc. Top notch place and the prices are reasonable! read more

After having a horrible experience with a well-known brake repair company, a friend recommended Arizona Auto Masters. That was 20 years ago. On my initial encounter with Mike Koch, the owner, he reviewed my brake repair receipt and began explaining to me how that brake company ripped me off for over $800. Over the years I've watched his business grow from infancy from a small shop off of Beck to what it is today. He grew it by honesty and hard work. I watched a local business owner build his dream. He is now opening a second shop in Gilbert. My husband loves him because he's into 'hotrods' and he has great expertise with them. I love his shop manager, Jesse and I see why Mike hired her. They both have the same views of mission statement and complement each other well with their business practices. Jeff is also great in the front and the back of the store. Every business makes a mistake once in awhile. In my situation, Mike immediately owned it and rectified it at no charge. That's a rare find in the auto repair business. I believe in cause and effect and think Arizona Auto Masters believes in it too. I wish you nothing but good luck with all your endeavors Mike. Your friend, Elise Mitchell read more

My engine light had came on & I took it to O'Reillys to get an engine light check. They had told me it was the air mass sensor. Me being a young girl & not knowing anything about cars freaked out! I'm so glad I found AZ Automasters they did an amazing job in explaining what was going on & turns out my car is in good shape. I will be using them again! read more

Following a couple of initial minor hiccups my service at AZ Automasters was definitely 5 Star. Very quick turn around and they charged me the initial low quote that I received. Way to do the right thing! Thanks AZ Automasters!!! read more

Even I am very happy with the service here!!! (And that's saying a LOT) I can turn a pretty good wrench, so I feel I qualify in saying that AZ Automasters was very straightforward with repairs and solutions, recommending somethings put off and others addressed more quickly, unlike some garages that over-inflate any problem and the expediency. I am impressed with the workmanship, price, options, and attitude (including that they addressed me, as a female, with respect and no condescension). The owner/managers knew my vehicle's (and other customers vehicles') common issues off the top of their head and were able to communicate them in a detailed, project list fashion. My vehicle is a 1997 and has had it's fair share of issues and therefore I've been to 5-6 garages in this town - I'm glad to have found AZ Automasters finally and I recommend it highly. read more

Made an appointment for an oil change and the thoroughness was very much appreciated. Went down a listing of items checked on my car and advised my car needed an air filter. However they didn't push replacing it right now. I will def. be back. read more

So went here to get my Oil Change from here because I got a complimentary oil change and oil filter in the mail from them. Being that I'm a very picky guy where I take my cars I had to look up reviews for this place before I went. From what I found on the internet it was almost nothing bad about this place. So I took my car there and what do you know this place was great! Extremely helpful, friendly, and informative! They let me know other things that were recommended to get done next and the prices are very competitive! So this will be my place of choice for all my car work! If you go anywhere else you're crazy! Go check them out and as well they always have great deals when you check in there through Yelp! read more

Wonderful service. I phoned last week and requested a quote for something they were unable to do. They referred me to someone that was excellent and told me to keep them in mind if I needed anything else. That was a no brained when I needed some work done a few days later. Any company that refers out due to volume is already getting bonus points :) I phoned Saturday morning and spoke to Jessie who got me a quote within minutes and gave me a break down of all estimates. She then followed it up with an email for my reference. I phoned Monday to schedule taking it in on Tuesday and dropped it off with Jeff in the morning. The office is clean, the staff is courteous and professional and the work was not only done in a timely matter but also for a competitive cost. I highly recommend AZ Automasters and will be using them in the future. read more

A little pricey but they have always been helpful and courteous.

My service adviser was friendly and I was comfortable in the waiting area. I had challenges with person ringing me up for my service. I had to push for an explanation on the price uptick against the quote provided over the phone. I would have been fine with the explanation if it was provided proactively minus the attitude. I had other services done but again had to push for feedback on the work completed. I get the feeling that they are quite fed up with me and do not wish for me to come back for services in the future; contrary to what I had seen how they treated their other customers. read more

This place is incredible and truly in a league of its own. I have been going there for years for performance, repair and maintenance stuff on several different cars I've owned personally, my company cars and girlfriend's car. Their customer service and quality of work is top notch. There have had many opportunities where they could have made a lot more money on the work they have done to my vehicles but have put greed aside and went out their way to help keep the costs down. If you're considering going there for an upgrade, maintenance or repairs STOP thinking and just go. The owner Mike is a very knowledgeable and honest car guy and runs a great business. read more
