They cater for tradesmen but also for the general public and they are so unbelievably helpful and will advise you on what you need for a certain job. You can also just buy one or two of something rather than a whole packet unlike its competitors homease and b and q! They do key-cutting while you wait too. There is plenty of parking at the side of the store, which is situated on Ock Street.

On their site the items were marked as dispatched and delivered so there was no way i could then cancel. Despite 1 call from me and 3 emails asking for the items to be cancelled if they would not agree compensation they still persisted and tried to deliver the items 3 days late on the Tuesday. We refused delivery and shortly after the money was deducted from our bank,we are still waiting on this being returned 9 days later. It was so much easier than trekking round the Oxford ringroad to the DIY superstores. There isn't the same range for the home decorator but there are all the basics and a much larger range of things sold without the fancy packaging. They stock paint and tools, landscaping and fencing stuff, decking etc. They sell plumbing stuff plus bathroom suites and they'll order stuff for you. It is a great place. I only wish I had found it sooner.

I was very surprised the first time that I shopped there because I assumed that it would be a bit more expensive than the likes of B&Q. This was not the case; for many items they are cheaper. What keeps me loyal to this shop is the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. They give good advice and do not automatically steer customers to the most expensive options. This shop is off the beaten path but well worth a visit, especially during spring and autumn when they stock a lot of plants. It was a year before I ever entered this store after relocating to East Oxford; now I wish I hadn't waited that long - this place is a gem.
