My move from a 1,000-square-foot apartment to a three-story townhome took 11.5 hours (!!!!!!). The movers spent 4 hours loading boxes before even touching furniture, disappearing for over an hour on 3! occasions without communication. They didn't bring the tools to disassemble my bed. My dad ended up doing it himself. I was in communication with management multiple times throughout the day to express concerns, and they eventually sent me two additional movers to unload. The unloading took about 2 hours of the 11.5 hr move... clearly the original crew was the Z team. Their careless, seemingly lazy handling of furniture resulted in a hole in my mattress that went through my waterproof mattress pad and the plastic mattress cover overtop. The entire experience was truly distressing. The final cost was also sketchy, including charges for mattress bags we provided ourselves and boxes I never saw used or delivered. Although management eventually sent additional movers to help unload, that does not make up for the delays, damage, and poor communication. I emailed management explaining the experience and requesting a rate reduction. They never responded Between the extremely slow service, damage to my belongings, unclear charges, and lack of follow-up, I strongly recommend choosing another moving company. For example, they put 100 lb headboard on top of cardboard boxes. The gardening rake punctured the television box etc... now it was a long move, and I'll give you that some of the items might've been damaged in transport but several of the broken items had the pieces on the floor in the storage unit. If they were broken in transport, the broken pieces would've been in the trailer. Although my husband and I were both on site while they were unloading nothing was ever mentioned about broken or damaged items and nothing was put into the "damage box. " Jordan and Amy offered me nothing but excuses. My experience with this company was horrible. You've been warned use it at your own risk.

With less than two weeks notice of moving, I called Barring Moving and Storage. Even with a full schedule, they were willing to work with me to pack my stuff (I was already gone when they picked everything up) and store it until I was ready for delivery. Fast forward, 7 months, I rented a POD to transport my "stuff." They not only loaded the POD, worked with the drop off and pick up times, but when the POD driver left (without the POD) because there was no lock, Kieth put a lock on the container immediately after I called (within minutes). I had the driver turn around to pick up the container, who almost left without it AGAIN because the lock wasn't on right. Kieth, again, went out there to deal with the (very rude) driver and ensure the lock was on the container and the container on the truck. Additionally, they were more than reasonable with pricing... I would recommend them hands down for any small or large move.

My bedroom suite, my dining room table with leather chairs, buffets, armoires, credenzas and more all dented, dinged, chipped or damaged caused by this company who rushed throwing my furniture around as if it were plastic toys. Oriental rugs tossed in a corner. I had one young man who was gracious enough to help my husband and I who are in our 60's take and roll the rugs properly.A complete disaster and ruined by this so called company. We paid extra to get our stuff delivered by a certain date & I had received a call that that wasn't going to happen, once I called UPack they were able to arrange the drop off in time. I would have liked pick up to be sooner but they only run on certain days- usually Tuesdays and Thursdays. I would recommend calling the local office wherever you are to expedite this, as using the online pick up/drop off request takes longer.

It's described as being in "good condition" and when my friend asked him if it worked well and had a clean filter, he confirmed. To help her out on February 8, my husband delivered payment and picked up the machine (with nowhere to test it). And, of course, it ended up not working at all. Danny Johnson promised my friend to return her money. But then it was nothing but excuses for weeks and now he has been ghosting her all month.
