I was sick and e-mailed I was leaving due to free admission to Y's but here at Fulton. AND looking forward to hot/cold water for shower. The manager at the time struck back and BARRED ME FROM ALL SARATOGA Y'S!!! I e-mailed back and all over in protest as I still and then have no water due to house fire! A little over 2 yrs ago I applied again as I wanted a shower and swimming as I was tired of cleaning up in public bathrooms and my car needed repairs badly. So, 2023 Jan I was allowed at this Y/Fulton for 10$ a month. For 2 yrs I paid even though I had silver sneakers. In Jan 2025 I went to Wilton Y as I finally got a new vehicle and was denied entry due to Fulton County Y! I went to Fulton County Y and spoke to front desk where I was told had no membership anymore due to scholarship had to be re-newed yearly with new management. So, even though I had scholarship for 2 years there I was still banned from all Saratoga Y's! WAIT A MINUTE IF I AM SUCH A BAD PERSON WHY DID I HAVE MEMBERSHIP AT FULTON COUNTY Y FOR YRS AFTER THE E-MAILS? AND THAT MANAGER IS LONG GONE??? I still have no shower and have to figure out how to exercise and clean up without a Y? SILVER SNEAKERS IS NOT A Y MEMBERSHIP, IT IS A SENIOR MEDICARE OPTION WITH SOME Y'S. THIS IS INJUSTICE FOR A SENIOR CITIZEN NOT TO BE OFFERED A Y IN THE SARATOGA REGION, after 2 yrs scholarship after the incident of e-mails. I am not a bad person, just a poor person who wants to exercise and clean up at the SARATOGA Y'S. For over 30 years I have been a member of the YMCAS!

New management is horrible and is running the place to the ground. Staff turnover is awful, employees are always unhappy, it's just a mess. Pool is never open, hot tub is always closed 99.8% of the time, equipment is always dirty and broken. Sad, poor excuse for a YMCA. It used to be one of the best places for kids and adults. but not anymore.

The owner of that facility was a screamer, and once, when Brandy had to be out, I saw the difference between someone who really cares about kids and knows how to teach and someone who thinks they can bully kids into learning. Brandy makes each of the girls strive to reach their goals. They WANT to do their best and they work very hard for her. She explains in ways the kids understand just what to do. She is patient and watches, so she knows where the child is struggling, so that she can correct the stance or the set up and help them be successful.
