He knew I was in need of a new furnace and he reached out to me that they were having a special that week so I took advantage of a great offer on a new Lennox SL furnace. Then I had a few questions on my estimate and spoke to Ashley who was so attentive and clarified everything for me. My installer was Ben E who had serviced my furnace before, did a great job on the install. I feel very comfortable with Ben because he is so knowledgeable and kind. Ben had an apprentice Jack S who assisted him that day and installed my new thermostat. He was very polite. The following day I had a few questions and Tristan M, another tech came out and answered all of my questions and concerns. I have been with Roman for many years and I stay with them because of their expertise and they really want their customers to be satisfied with their work and it shows! Thank you all who helped me. I don't do well with changes and they guided me through every step!!! Thx, Sara-your long time customer

They sold me on their maintenance plan, and when the tech arrived he diagnosed that the gas line and gas distributor had been installed improperly and that the line would need to be rebuilt. I agreed to their estimate and they sent another technician out to rebuild the line and replace the distributor. He was still not able to get the generator started, at which point he called me to collect payment. I let him know that I wanted to speak with someone about this before paying the invoice as I felt the job hadn't been completed. I was then contacted by the service manager. He told me that they had a signed estimate and the work on the estimate had been completed. I didn't disagree with him, but felt that another service appointment was a bit unreasonable as they'd been there twice already, once to do a regular service (which couldn't be completed as the gas line issue was diagnosed) and once to rebuild the line/replace distributor (which I was told was the issue). Instead of understanding the situation or trying to rectify it, I was told by the manager that the service/work had been completed, let us know if you want us to fix it at a later date, pay the invoice. I was offered a free 1-hour appointment to continue to diagnose the problem, but ultimately turned it down as I lacked any confidence in the company at this point. I reached out to them multiple times over the coming weeks, dealing with their customer service person (Danielle, who was actually very understanding and, in my opinion, their most competent employee), hoping to be called back by a manager. No one ever reached out, and after another week of waiting (3+ weeks after the service at this point) I caved and paid the invoice and decided to share my experience. They did, however refund me for the original maintenance plan charge as the maintenance couldn't be completed/tested on the first appointment as the tech wasn't able to start the generator. The best part of the story is this: I was able to contact another service company who came out and simply bled the gas line and had the generator running in less than 10 minutes. It's since had no issue (3+ weeks). For reference, here's a 1 minute video on how to bleed a gas line: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/eRkxaONoA58 If your generator has an issue, find another service company.

We opted to have the basement portion replaced first. It was about a month after I had major heart surgery and the Rozga guys were very helpful covering and protecting expensive tech equipment in my basement workshop from the cement dust that would result from ripping up the floor to get at the lateral. Unfortunately, as part of the plastic curtaining, they were using a staple gun to attach the sheeting to a joist in a hard to reach area, near the central networking hub where there's a ton of wires, and the ceiling and the wires are all painted black. Maybe 20 minutes in, I started hearing a fateful beeping from all our alarm system zone modules that indicated comms failure. I told them I suspected they had done SOMETHING to the alarm bus. Supervisor tells me they were being very careful (which I fully believe) but I show him the dead alarm keypad and tell him "well it was working before you got here." He comes back maybe 20 minutes later with this look of trepidation on his face that I recognize as vendor fear. He sheepishly tells me I'm right and that they drove a staple thru a wire. Having worked with tradespeople for many years, I understood that his fear was that I was going to call some private alarm company, have them come out to do a potentially expensive debug and repair to the system, and ask Rozga to pay to repair the damage. Stuff like that happens all the time. I asked him to show me what happened. It's in a place where the sheeting had to corner and I could barely make out was going on, especially since the black paint makes it almost impossible to distinguish what the heck is going on behind the translucent plastic. Quite frankly I was impressed he found it given how hard it was to see, and I told him so. Then I told him it was not a problem, I had that kind of wire in stock. I then reminded him he had stapled something I do in my line of work and that I could fix low voltage wiring. Knowing where the fault was, it meant I could have my 15yo son do the work under my direction a few days later. No harm, no foul, and no cost. The look of relief was instant. I have occasionally seen people in the trades make mistakes and then dig in their heels, refusing to admit a mistake. Rarely do I see tradespeople actively work to find a mistake that is outside their wheelhouse. I am happy to do business with Rozga again in the future when it comes time to replace the rest of the lateral. Good people, neat work, very pleased with the end result.
