I've lived here in several units over the years, and have always enjoyed living here. I'm writing this review, to give recognition where it's due. Ruben is the best building manager we've ever had. He is over the top helpful, and as nice as a human being can be. He's changing the culture and general atmosphere, in order to make this the best place one can possibly live at... and boy did he raise the bar quickly. He literally remembers my whole family's names, even my dog. And this isn't unique to us, we have seen him interact with everyone the same way. As a new resident to California, I wanted to ensure that the first place of residence would meet all of my expectations; Axis 2300 has definitely done that. Each unit has 12ft ceilings, recess lighting, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and a washer/dryer. All of those features just solidified my decision to live here. The application process was pretty straightforward and smooth as possible. The leasing team, Amy and Tanner, was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entirety of the process. They were super friendly, professional, and ensured all your questions were answered. Tanner was kind enough to take time out of his busy schedule and provide a tour of the property. The complex includes common areas like the pool/hot tub, gym, office spaces and an entertainment room which are well maintained. What I love about the location of Axis is that it's just a few minutes away from places like John Wayne Airport, UCI, and Newport Beach. There's always something to do nearby within a 5-10 mile radius. Overall, I am super grateful to call Axis my first place of residence in Cali. I lived here for almost 2 years. I started when Essex was management and then moved out after it got bought out. The place was really nice don't get me wrong. I had a 2bd/den/2.5ba. One of bathroom was beautiful, and had both a shower and a tub. I had a big walk in closet and a big kitchen with hard wood floors! The pool is big and nice. The cons are the gym is small.. only has a few things in there and biggest con of all is the ROACHES!! I lived on the 3rd floor and my roommates seen and killed them because I am TERRIFIED of bugs but yes unfortunately they have roaches. They have them in the garage too. Oh and management is rude and don't care about you or your issues. read more

We have been looking for a home for us for several months and always come back to Axis 2300. I still remember the first time we went there without an appointment but the office staff still welcomed us and let us tagged along with the group that they were showing. We love the wide hall way, it's outdoor, bright and airy, you felt the breeze, no ugly smell like a lot of apartments do. We love the high ceiling, big walk-in closet, big balcony... and the modern wall color, meeting room, quiet big blue pool, and SPA, surrounding shopping centers, everything is so close by. We were surprised the Axis put the carpet on the building stairs! Felt so homey, little thing goes a long way, we make the decision right away that Axis will be our new home.:) The manager Veronica is so helpful, she makes the process easy and professional, when you see one you know it! The manager is important, they are your partners that make your life comfortable and secured. Axis has been a great community so far. Our unit is super clean and has lots of space. The neighbors are quiet and super nice. The maintenance team has taken care of all of our requests so far. The front office team has been super friendly and helpful as well! (Especially Tanner) highly recommend this place for a fair priced and nice apartment in Irvine! I just moved in to this awesome beautiful apartment a week ago. Finally I have some time to write my genuine thought about this apartment. The management team: The altitude of the property management team is the first thing I will consider. But it's hard to tell if a management team is professional straight from their website. So review is very important to reflex good or bad of a property management team. Based on my experience, axis2300's management team is super responsive and helpful. They guided me through entire application process and provide adequate support. I drove a U-haul from Bay Area to Irvine for about 7 hours and when I finally arrived to the apartment, I felt exhausted and tired. The management team gave me the warmest welcome which makes me felt like being home. Region: The apartment located in a very nice neighborhood which I believe is called Irvine business complex, it is a region mixed business corporations, nice apartments and countless restaurants. Axis2300 is located in a not so busy street, therefore, You won't hear any noise from the street. There are plenty of supermarket around the apartment, such is Walmart, h-mart, Costco. Apartment: The apartment is gorgeous. I love the swimming pool the most. It has clear water and good length that you can do some nice laps. The gym is ok not so impressive. You will also have entertainment room and multiple outdoor grillers you can use. The apartment I live in now is 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with a dent room. The apartment is huge (compare to the equivalent apartment I live at Bay Area, yeah it is huge) In conclusion, I recommend this apartment to you guys due to its professional management team, nice location and great value of apartment. read more

We recently moved from New York State to Axis 2300 and couldn't be happier. Axis provides the best comparable price per SF I found and the high ceilings make it even more spacious feeling. Some friends expressed concerns about the proximity to the airport but it couldn't be more peaceful. The property is well cared for and the staff is friendly and always there to help. Maintenance responds almost immediately. It's a great place for dogs and the apartments themselves seem practically sound proof. If you're looking for a new home, I highly recommend it! read more

Read all reviews! There is a clear pattern of incompetence with AMC livings management. New manager Ashley refused to speak to me over the phone only by email. Now she's not responding to my emails. When I discussed the terms of my leaving the community, the manager smugly said they will have no problem filling it. But if you look at availability people are fleeing the community due to poor management. Also if you do decide to tour the property count the number of guest spots. Shouldn't take you more than 60 seconds, it's that bad. In one day I saw urine, feces and trash on the ground. See pictures. 1 of 2 elevators are commonly broken meaning long wait times for the one that is working. All these attached pictures were taken on the same day. If you do make the mistake of moving in here I would suggest never sleeping with the windows open. Besides the loud neighbors walking the halls late at night you will be woken up early by the planes at the airport and if the winds are right your apartment will be filled with jet fuel fumes. I wouldn't trust management to run a lemonade stand after the way they've handled my account. Worst experience living in a apartment in over 20 years. read more

I would give this 0 start if I could. Very poor management and questionable practices. I was forced to pay an exorbitant lease break fee and move out in under a month because the noise levels were intolerable. Despite living here for less than a month and already paying a substantial lease break fee, I was still charged additional fees for cleaning and painting. It's questionable why a unit that was occupied for less than a month would require repainting. When touring units here I would pay extra attention to checking for noise issues. Some of the units are poorly designed, as they directly share a wall with the elevator - which was my unit. These units experience constant and earthquake-like noise whenever someone uses the elevator (which is every 5 minutes constantly). Additionally, there is minimal soundproofing from street noise and neighbors above. You will hear every step the neighbor above takes, and hear all the noise from the road. The constant noises caused me severe migraines, forcing me to move out in 1 month. The management cannot address these issues and have questionable fee practices. I advise taking time to thoroughly evaluate the noise levels before committing. read more

I tell people all the time about Axis 2300 and I often look at old pictures of my unit and reminisce about my time there. It was such a unique property, and it felt like I was living in a huge condo. I woke up every day feeling so lucky that I was able to find that place. ***Here is my review from 1/16/2020*** I've lived at Axis 2300 for 2 months now and I am so pleased! My move-in went very smoothly, and the staff has been very accommodating and friendly. Below is my feedback so far: --Complex and Location-- The complex is kept very clean and is easy to navigate around. I also feel very secure, as you're required a key or code to access the elevators and doors. The location is great since it is near the airport and freeways. It's also close to Newport and shopping areas. --Unit-- I rent a 1-bedroom unit and it is huge! It's more than 1,000 square feet with 12' ceilings. I feel like I'm living in a high-rise in the big city. I also have a fireplace, which I've been utilizing every day with our chilly Irvine winters. The kitchen is beautiful, with dark cabinets and granite counter-tops. I have stainless steel appliances with a gas-top stove. I have enough room to fit a 6-seat dining table and my sectional very comfortably as well. I also have an in-unit washer/dryer, which is a plus. --Parking-- There is well-lit, gated underground parking and a few guest spots. I don't have too many guests over, but I am able to get a spot for them if I am early enough in the day. --Management and Maintenance-- The management and maintenance team have been great! They are very responsive, polite, and understanding. Each of my maintenance requests have been addressed very quickly, often the same day, and sometimes within minutes. I am one of the old residents of Axis 2300. Since Essex was the owner, we were living here. After AMC took over, everything went downhill. Amy, one of the worst human beings I have ever met in my entire life, thinks she owns the place. She is a needy, greedy person who evicted most of the old residents in the affordability program units to give them to her relatives and friends. Almost all of her relatives and friends live here in the best income-restricted units now. She also moved into the best income-restricted unit of the complex as soon as she took over management. AMC did a horrible job by hiring such unprofessional, rude, and greedy management. I have seen Amy yelling at residents. It is hard to believe, but I was asking for a replacement for some of the out-of-order equipment, but she kept telling me the product was on backorder and it might take up to 8 weeks. At the end, I ordered those from Amazon and got them the next day! The worst part is that it turned out the product was actually available, but she just refused to provide it to me because she probably doesn't like me. When an income-restricted unit becomes vacant, she just keeps it vacant until one of her relatives becomes available to move in. How do I know? I have tracked down two of my friends who are moving out. I then immediately sent someone to ask for an available unit, but she told them there was no unit available! then the unit stays vacant for a couple of months after! Instead of improving the gym, she removed two of the equipment pieces, leaving the gym with even fewer pieces. The maintenance seems unprofessional, and they were able to install my equipment incorrectly with the wrong equipment. read more

I cannot begin to express to you just now much you should steer clear of this complex. Listen to the negative reviews - I wish I had! I lived here for 9 months then ended my lease early because I simply could not take the treatment and conditions any longer. The leasing office team cares about one thing and one thing only - collecting rent checks. After that, they prioritize silencing/avoiding tenant concerns over offering any type of helpful guidance. We experienced multiple facility issues right from day one such as a dirty unit on move-in day, middle of the night fire alarms, and the unit-provided refrigerator breaking down and spoiling all our food to name a few. The apartment claims to be luxury but they are using that term extremely loosely in my opinion. Potential renters beware - that entire complex is infested with roaches and the leasing team does not care. The facilities may look nice on your guided tour but once you live here, you will wake up to dead roaches in your kitchen and see them scurrying around the pool when you're trying to relax in the jacuzzi. Truly disgusting. The leasing office offered to have our apartment unit sprayed with poison as they have a contracted exterminator do regular visits. We received the spray treatment 3 times and all failed to remedy the problem. Also note that you WILL hear your neighbors. Our neighbors were absolutely relentless and could be heard stomping around and what sounded like building furniture way past quiet hours while we were trying to sleep. The walls in this place are so thin, I could hear their dog walking around as well as their shower running daily. I again let the leasing office know, and of course they were no help. Bottom line is this: these conditions are not luxury but the asking rent price is. Don't waste your hard-earned money on a roach infested and backwards leasing team. The complex is small but the way the leasing office runs things makes you feel like you are living on a huge property managed by an offsite company. They're all unprofessional, unreliable, and make arbitrary rules causing inconvenience and confusion. I regret leasing here and will never go back to them or any of their AMC properties. read more

Luigi came out and gave me the best tour ever, showed me one of the best studios I've ever seen! Took my breathe away! I just moved in a few days ago. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Tanner, Ruben, Seneca the 3 property managers are very helpful and responsive. The move in has been very smooth thus far and the management team has been very accommodating. Huge shout out to Tanner one of the best property managers I've worked with he has went above and beyond from the first inquiry of the complex to move in. I'll start with the cons: The only improvements I would recommend minor things and I only mention these items due to the cost of rent. 1. The window blinds are the older pull string types that can be really finicky at times. 3. The toilets are a little short perfect for my 4 year old but if your 6ft they can be a bit uncomfortable. 4. Wish it was a little more kid friendly perfect for college students and an older crowd Now the Pros: 1. Great property managers! 2. Friendly quiet community 3. Huge master bedroom (Newport model) 4. The biggest Plus is the AMC staff are Excellent & careful to follow through on their promises!! A rarity in business these days. They both went ABOVE and BEYOND for me throughout the whole process, by far the most seamless move in ever. My apartment was spotless upon move in and they even checked up on me days later making sure I was happy. Everyone there including the staff are so kind and welcoming. I love how small and intimate the community is, it really feels like home. It has a super cute game room, outdoor area, gym, amazing pool and easy access parking! We found a diamond in the rough with our apartment! Our leasing agent Tanner was one of the best I have ever worked with since I have been living in apartments for over 20 years! He's polite, great communicator, always happy to answer questions, happy to help with any needs and helped us feel more secure about moving into Axis 2300. The maintenance team is also great! Very polite and always doing their best to make everything right for the apartment. They are also very clean when doing any work in the unit. The unit has high ceilings and very spacious for a one bedroom! Huge bathroom with standing shower and bathtub with two sinks. This is our dream apartment for a great price! How does that MAKE SENSE........ These are GREEDY people that run this place and make their employees bribe their residents to write a good review .... Don't even bother trying to work with them when you move out because it will just work out in their favor when their property is making over 1 million every month and they simply won't care about your financial situation . This community is clean, modern, and well-maintained. All the kitchen appliances are stainless steel, and there is nice wood flooring in the main living space. However, where this Axis community truly shines is in the staff they hire. Tanner, who works in the leasing office, is always accommodating and ready to resolve any issue that may arise. His customer service is exemplary, and he is friendly. While I have not interacted with Seneca as much, she has also been great. I have interacted most with the maintenance staff, Felix and Joel. Maintenance is always quick to respond and has resolved 100% of our issues. Joel, in particular, has fixed the most in my apartment. I want to specifically praise Joel for all his outstanding hard work and dedication. He is friendly and fixes any broken repairs much faster than I ever could.
