Beyond teaching the material, he shared practical strategies to approach problems and succeed on test day. I was able to improve my SAT score from 1370 to 1540, something I couldn't have imagined before working with him. His teaching style is engaging, patient, and always tailored to your needs. If you're looking for an SAT tutor who genuinely cares about your success, Chris is the one to choose!   From mom: As a mom of six, I have used many tutors, and I cannot recommend Chris at Summit enough. When my son was paired with Chris, Chris immediately contacted me to explain his approach. We had a wonderful, unrushed conversation. Chris clearly communicated with me after each meeting. My son said that Chris not only helped him drastically improve his score from a 1370 to a 1540 but also helped him understand and appreciate math. Chris is incredibly competent but also incredibly kind. My son shared that Chris was always cheerful and avoided criticism but challenged him appropriately. My son said that he was one of the best teachers that he had had. Margaret who was our contact person at Summit was incredibly helpful and supportive. I cannot praise this company enough! My son will be attending Harvard in the fall. Summit helped make his dream a reality. We will be using Summit for our next five children. Thank you Margaret and Chris!

I can honestly say without him, i don't know how I would of finished taking both courses. The lecturers and the TAs didn't communicate the material nearly as clearly and in a shorter time span as he did. He is clear and patient, and wants you to truly learn the material, not just get through a test or assignment. It is clear that he knows his material. Moreover he's very flexible with tutoring time and will take as much time and sessions needed until you understand the material. Being an athlete, my free is greatly limited, but he still found time to make sessions flexible to my schedule to his greatest ability. With my experience with him, if there were more teachers as clear and knowledgable as him, then class would be more clear and interesting and easier to follow. But in real-life situations, tutors such as Solomon are there to bridge the gap and help you succeed. I know I'll be using Quantum Tutoring in the future, especially as I get ready for MCATs, not to mention exams and tests.

My daughter is a HS Junior with already high ACT scores, and everyone knows how hard it can be to nudge your scores up once you're in a certain range. But Ben Sexton was able to identify exactly where her skills were lacking and help her raise her math score by several points, even though we had previously tried other test prep tutors who weren't successful. Ben really came at things from a strategic perspective my daughter could relate to, and explained his plan and thinking before hand. He also tutors in person and came directly to our house, which was very convenient, and proved flexible working with my daughter's schedule as well. She was able to approach the next testing date with understanding and confidence and managed to improve her score. We were very pleased with Sexton Tutoring and plan to use them again.

I hired Jerry of Y3K this summer after my daughter had a lot of trouble with anxiety and missing a great deal of school last year. Jerry is very thorough, responsive, flexible within the parameters discussed and provided structure, instilled confidence and gave my daughter the tools she needed to take on the school year right out of the gate. They even covered multiple subjects as well as time management in her studying. In a short time, it was clear that changes had been made and my daughter's confidence was drastically higher!
