I'm going to write this review as impartially and respectfully as I can. Here goes nothing…read more... I've been a member of Porky's (yeah), Planet Fitness, Elev8tion, CrossFit gyms, YouFit, LA Fitness, Retro Fitness, and so many others. My most recent membership was with infamous since January of 2021 till today, August 2021. You can imagine I've seen a lot and honestly I'm picky about where I train. A few friends told me not to go to Infamous, that I wouldn't like it, but I wanted to try it myself. This gym is picture perfect until you step inside. It's smells, it's old, it's crowded, there's never any parking, and it's dirty. Let me get into the details. I've been thinking about leaving this gym for a while now and I was really giving it a chance because I can tell that the owners are trying their best to add newer machines and repair damages around the gym but... it's just not enough. They have five stair masters and only 1 works. The rest of the cardio machines are treadmills or old and beat up ellipticals/bikes. There are definitely not enough functioning cardio machines. About 80- 90% of the weightlifting machines are super old. There are not enough plates (weights) in all sections of the gym. The bathrooms are always disgusting (I won't even say what I saw and smelled today). Everything is dirty around the gym in general too. Whenever I ask for a spray to clean the machine they never know where it is... Even throughout COVID, they didn't have cleaning supplies... last but not least: parking. Parking is an awful situation here at any time of day. They also have a ridiculous $25.00 fee for a one-day pass. They don't let you try out the gym for free for a few days either. They don't let you have a guest either. They're standards are high but what they offer isn't even worth it. To me, it's the little things. That gym has potential but I'm not waiting around. I hope they read my review and I don't care if they hate me... they should thank me and work on these things so more people who actually keep their membership there.

Ken the owner is really nice and also very helpful with whatever your needs are. The equipment is old, but it has got everything you could possibly need to get the job done. I have no problem re-racking the weights, but I do find it a bit ridiculous and silly that we clean the equipment with diluted windex and the nastiest stained rough & hard hand towels (who knows how often they're washed). The biggest let down however, is the cardio equipment; a few bikes and ellipticals, but of the 4 treadmills 2 are broken and there is no stair master. It is expensive at $30 a month for what you're getting but the convenience of not having to leave Springs is what keeps me. This definitely ain't Anatomy, Equinox, or any other pristine gym with hot trainers like in Brickell South Beach and the Gables. This is Miami Springs with older retired folks and Hialeah neighbors who frequent as well, since it's right next to the bridge.

I need the gym to be close to my house, have group classes, & I wanted a gym that offered yoga. Say fitness offered everything I was looking for so I decided to give them a try. I saw that you can pay by the class($10) so I just showed up for a bootcamp. The trainer, Jacie, was so warm and welcoming I instantly liked her & felt comfortable in the class. She definitely pushes you and her workouts are intense but you have a lot of fun too.

They specialize in P.I.I.T (partner interval training) where you move from station to station with your partner and push/motivate eachother as much as you can, making the workout more effective and more fun knowing youre not alone. At Legacy Fit you get a complete body workout in a 1 hour session. Theres something about technique that gets your body toned yet curvy in all the right places (ladies). Its always a challenge and you never get tired of the same routine. Legacy is for everyone. Anyone can give it a try. The scary type of gym people who don't know any better imagine, Except, there was nothing scary about it. Familiar faces, classical Equipment and the knowledge that you were gonna leave better than when you came. Miami Iron Gym takes me back to that. It's a place where grunting is allowed so long as you retail your weights. There's no link alarm and no texting. You don't workout, you train. No wannaBe drill sergeants shouting Etsy quotes at you while they film themselves. It's beautiful: people lifting. Imagine that. I was in town and didn't want to skip Leg day so I paid the drop in fee and spoke to Mr Juan at the front desk who was great. I made very sure to get my moneys worth in their variety of machines. This place is no frills and looks like the place you go to see some genuine changes in your mind and body.

Sometimes, they service the pool with solution while you're swimming. Overall the pool is clean but sometimes the water is not clear. I always thought the best way to do maintenance was off-peak hours; e.g., early mornings or close to closing. There was a lady taking care of a senior in a wheelchair that lost her trip today because the pool was supposed to open "in a little time". Not acceptable. They should get their act together in this regard.
