Our group of 48 students and 5 chaperones recently went on a trip to visit San Francisco State and UC Davis, and Dan Rushing was our driver. "Dan the Man" was amazing at relating to our high school students, and he navigated the bus safely to our destinations. It was a fantastic experience for all of us, and we appreciate when drivers treat our students like adults. He earned the respect and appreciation of all in our group. If I could leave no stars, I would. Have used everal times- issues EVERY SINGLE TIME! This time they didn't even show up. Standing around waiting with 50 kids, they said no order placed. They called back and said oops, our bad. Should rename to awesomely awful charter. Avoid at all costs. read more

If I could give this company negative stars I would. They sent a bus to pick up a church group headed from Porterville to San Diego in 103 degrees with NO AC & NO WINDOWS THAT ROLL DOWN. They were notified before the bus even left town that the AC wasn't working and claimed they would fix it at a stop. After stopping 3 separate times and taking over 9 hours to arrive in San Diego, the AC was never fixed and the people of board were dripping with sweat. This group was attending a prepaid conference that included dinner at registration (Which the whole group on the bus missed). I was hoping things might work out after a phone call to the manager of the company. Unfortunately, he rudely interrupted me multiple times and claims he's sorry for the problems. He claimed it's not his intention to send people on a long trip without AC, but he was aware of that fact by 8am before the trip had even begun and DIDN'T choose to switch out the bus with another. The safely of our students, parents and driver were at risk on this trip. I will gladly modify this review if anything changes. read more

Great trip to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Chocolate Factory and HOME! Jesse & Linda were super great we felt safe the whole time! They even gave us waters so we didn't have to pay inside the park. Thank you!!! read more

We've been on Awsome Tours several times and would highly recommend them. Linda and Jesse are always friendly. Jesse is a great driver and we feel very safe when he is driving. Linda makes you feel relaxed and you can just sit back and enjoy yourself. We plan on taking several more trips with Awsome Tours this year 2018 read more

We have been using Awesome for about a year for full day group trips to San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Sacramento. I have no complaints. They don't add extra charges for a bus that functions as it is supposed to like some companies we have dealt with. The bus drivers we have had have been the best, making everyone feel safe. Not happy at all with the services of this bus company. Our church youth group used this particular bus company to take 50+ teens and chaperones to a church conference in San Diego. It was a miserable 8+ hour long ride with no AC in 103 degree weather. The bus had to pull over several times to try and fix the broken AC unit. It never worked. The driver was on her cell phone with the busing company technician to figure out ways to fix it. This was while she was driving the bus! Students noticed the bus going over lane lines during this time she was on the phone. It was so hot on the bus, kids AND chaperones were beginning to feel light headed and sick. I don't blame the bus driver in this situation. She was given an assignment of unsafe conditions, she was doing the best she could. This responsibility falls completely on the company and the ones in charge for the day. It was a very poor choice to send kids on a broken bus and jeopardized their health including their own employee. When I called the company to complain I was told it was too late to send another bus because they were already near their destination. My issue was they KNEW about the problem very early on and they could have something about it then. I understand that things break, it happens. But instead they chose to just cross their fingers and hope for the best. Parents were getting texts from their kids, "I'm dripping in sweat", "I'm feeling sick" and "I feel light-headed". Leaving us all very worried back home. Aside from being miserable to the point of feeling ill for 8+ hours, our kids missed out on dinner (that was pre-paid) and part of the opening ceremony of the conference. Several of the kids worked very hard through fundraising to raise the funds to go on this trip. I have waited to post my complaint hoping that Awesome Charter would address these issues in an appropriate manner. They have not. I will avoid this company for any event I plan in the future.
