I had scheduled transportation both to the Fresno airport and from LAX to destination with another company called 24/7 Ride. Less than 12 hours from our morning pickup time I received cancelation emails, no phone calls or even a text message. Seriously? Had I depended on their previous TWO CONFIRMATIONS and not been triple checking everything I wouldn't have seen the emails and we would have missed the flight. The most wonderful thing about VIP TRANSPORTATION (which isn't provided at that other place) is a REAL LIVE PERSON ANSWERS THE PHONE! No long waits on hold listening to recording of how great they AREN'T. When I called, desperate now to find a ride, VIP answered the phone and spoke with me person to person and we worked out a time. Equally important, they said they would absolutely be there. You know what? They were. The driver arrived two minutes early and we made our flight easily. When I need any transportation services again in their area VIP Transportation will be my Only Call. Real People, Real Service, Reliable.

First off, love its acronym lol (YARTS)…read more Pretty nifty service if you don't want to drive all the way to Yosemite National Park; there's a bit of winding-road areas against mountain edges when heading to the park. Bus fare includes park admission. There are multiple bus routes but some are seasonal. What I did is dropped my car at the Mariposa Park & Ride lot, which is a 45 min easy highway drive from Merced, then hopped on the bus and about 2 hours later reached Yosemite. Yes, taking the bus is slower than taking your own car (surprise surprise lol) so I advise to take the bus sometime in the morning (I took the first bus heading to Yosemite and that bus left the park & ride lot at around 6 am). Smooth bus ride (I easily fell asleep on the bus, to and from, lol). Bus is clean and has large windows so you can easily take photos on the way to the park. Bus drivers, to and from, were both very friendly. Besides the relatively long transportation time, the other downside I can think of when using YARTS is that you won't be able to access certain landmarks in Yosemite Valley (Bridalveil Fall, Tunnel View, etc.) that you would otherwise be able to if you brought your car with you. If those places aren't on your itinerary, I definitely recommend taking YARTS!

We had an amazing experience! James, our driver, was on time, drove incredibly smoothly, and was so…read morepatient with our group, even with a bus full of noisy kids. He spent about 12 hours with us and never once complained. He was always helpful, especially when unloading our bags, and made the entire day run seamlessly. One of the highlights was when he happily stopped so we could watch and take pictures of a bear we spotted in Yosemite. That extra bit of flexibility made the trip even more memorable. I also tend to get carsick, but both of our drivers were exceptionally smooth behind the wheel, so I never had any issues. The bus itself was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely recommend this company and would happily use them again!
