I specifically asked in writing about the cost of a new patient consultation before scheduling…read more During the scheduling phone call the fee discussed was $75. The confirmation email I received listed only the appointment time, address, and parking information -- it contained no mention of any consultation fee. On the day of the visit I was charged $750. When I questioned the amount, I was told that was the correct fee based on our prior conversation. I left the experience feeling the consultation fee had not been clearly or accurately disclosed in advance. The office itself also raised concerns. There was no secretary or front-desk staff, and the space is shared with a beauty salon, chiropractic office, and other services. All communication was handled directly by the doctor. The lack of transparent pricing has left me with no choice but to file a claim in small claims court to resolve the matter.

YASU has been treating me for multiple sports and activity related issues, pulled/weak hamstrings,…read moreweak knees, lower back issues and tight/knotted upper back and shoulders. In just a few sessions we've been able to all but eliminate all symptoms. I am back to playing my sports and other activities without issue.. He employed a mix of sports massage/stretching/manipulation and acupuncture along with kinesiology tape when deemed useful. He also takes the time to help identify activities that may be causing or exacerbating the issue(s) and recommends activities/stretches to help alleviate the symptoms while outside of his office. I've sought out all different types of massage to aid my recovery. Yasu assess the issue and massages/stretches/manipulates in a way where I can feel the benefit WHILE he's working on me. I'm not a fan of needles, not even a little bit. Yasu is very gentle and understanding of people like myself when he decides acupuncture would be beneficial. I honestly don't feel the needles at all. Price range is a question here on Yelp. I gave it a moderate because it's not inexpensive. But by no means, especially considering the work and the results, is it expensive. A two hour massage will cost quite a bit more than the treatment you receive here. All in all I've been very happy with the results Yasu has achieved. And I will continue to see him for "maintenance" visits! THANK YOU YASU!!!

Enough to convince someone who is scared of needles but interested in the results, to try it. Hopeful for relief from current ailments, I booked an appointment for a 90 min. consultation + chiro and acupuncture session. In the notes I communicated that I am scared of needles, the doctor quickly cancelled my appointment within the same day. She did refer me to another business, but can't find them onyelp ... they only have a Facebook profile for their business. It seems as though Dr. Katie isn't interested in first timers that may be scared and require adjustments or more attention. Thankful for the quick turn around so we can avoid a potentially troubling experience.

Go Beyond PT is by far the best PT group I have ever found…read more I'm 77 and have used many PT groups so I'm speaking from actual experience. I'm not a regular online reviewer, but I tell my doctors and my friends about them all the time. They know their stuff, and stay on top of the latest developments in PT. They really know how to size you up and adapt exercises based not only on existing limitations, but your ability as well. Their communication skills and explanations are top notch. I've seen two of the therapists there over the years and both are excellent. I consider them part of my team to enable me to do the activities I love. I cannot recommend this group highly enough.

I did not have any neuropathy from the chemo and very little nausea. I believe that this treatment helped me to feel better during this time. Dr. Chen has such a calming way about her, that just taking that hour of time for myself felt like a gift. She has a genuine care and concern for her patients. I had rotator cuff surgery performed by Dr. Timmerman a week ago. From what I understand, the tear…read morewas fairly substantial, and it was not automatic that surgery would be able to repair it. Also, from what I understand, including the pictures she showed me, she was successful in reattaching it. Without being an expert on these things, it still seems to me that Dr. Timmerman is an experienced and skilled surgeon. That, of course, is by far and away the most important thing in looking for a surgeon. The reason I am not giving her an unreserved five star rating is the following: In our postoperative visit one week after the surgery, I felt Dr. Timmerman was very rushed. She showed me pictures of the shoulder and the surgery, which I appreciated, but kind of rushed through her explanation of what the pictures represent. As somebody who has zero knowledge or understanding of such things, I really did not understand it all and did not feel comfortable to ask her to repeat her explanations. Nor did she really take time to just sit down and say, "OK, how are you feeling? How is everything ?" I did not come away feeling clear on what I can and cannot do during the entire three months of my recovery period, nor on what the prognosis is for a fairly full recovery of the use of my shoulder. The whole appointment was maybe five minutes and I was asking her questions as she literally had 1 foot out the door of the room. Now I understand that doctors can be very busy, but I really do feel like they have to make time to create an atmosphere in which a patient can feel comfortable asking questions. After all, the recovery period is important. I am not sure how to say this: I appreciate the experience and apparent skill that Dr. Timmerman brings to the table. But as just some older guy who just wants to live out his remaining years being comfortable, active, and as productive as he can, I have to wonder if in the field of sports medicine us older people are sufficiently recognized for who we are.

My experience was very similar to the two other low ratings. I went in for my second appointment,…read moreand she rushed through the appointment. She did not allow me time to ask questions. I left frustrated and forgot the MRI disc. I went back and thought that I might as well try and talk to her and if she couldn't see me then, to make another appointment. The receptionist reluctantly went to ask and Dr. Timmerman yelled that I had told her that my leg hurt 7 times and that she could not address it. I have never had a doctor tell me I need surgery and refuse to answer questions. According to the other reviews, she seems to be a good surgeon, but her patient care has a lot to be desired. If you are okay with blindly letting a surgeon cut into you, this is the doctor for you. If you want information about the process or even alternatives, don't bother going in for an appointment.

I have been a patient of Patricia Rochette's since 2018 when I was experiencing debilitating…read moresymptoms from mold toxicity and a history of head injuries. In one session she reduced my brain fog 75-80% when no other doctor or medicine could! Being on her table feels like being held in a safe, compassionate space where my nervous system regulates and my breath returns. She works with the whole body, intuitively knowing how each part is interconnected, affecting one another. Dr. Rochette is one of many practitioners I have seen for this challenging illness, and I choose to continue to see her over others because of her ability to continue to support my body as my needs shift and change. Her knowledge, expertise and understanding of the body feels like magic - but I know magic is only part of it - she is truly well trained and continuously learning how she can better support her clients. Two different people recommended her to me - one friend who had a crushed pelvis and another with whip lash. Both women sang her praises, as I am today. I am truly grateful for her and each of our sessions. Thank you so much for helping me heal Dr. Rochette!

I made an appointment with Dr. Rochette for an osteopathic evaluation of my right shoulder where I…read morehad experienced inflammation due to what I suspected was a chronic pinching of the supraspinatus tendon. I brought an MRI study for documentation. She gave me a very nice back massage. She did not touch affected shoulder area. She did not even glance at the MRI. She gave me (what sounded like) a very dismissive, standard palliative on breathing (to open my shoulder area) and sent me on my way to the receptionist who billed me $375. No manipulation. No evaluation or diagnosis. No directives or advice for exercises or stretching. My take was she did not want to take my case (probably because she had no idea how to approach it). Weeks later there is no change to my chronic pain despite my extra breathing. From my experience, it is the receptionist who seems to know the most about osteopathic practices in that office. In the past I have had good experience with osteopathic practitioners. Dr. Rochette does not belong in that league.
