The store is always well-stocked with items and the staff is helpful. When I was in the store today, I was also able to pick up a couple other food items from their dairy section. I also needed a new toothbrush today and there were many to choose from. The prices are always good at drug mart too. I also walked down the seasonal aisle and noticed a small refrigerator with live bait. This is a fun store to walk around because you never know what you will find above and beyond everyday necessities. Side note--the had an excellent beer selection too!

Over the past month there have been three times I've been waited on by a woman named Sunitra (or something loke that). Each time, she's reached over the credit card terminal and pressed "YES" to the question "has the cashier asked for your Drug Mart reward number" The problem is, she doesn't ask for it and is reluctant to put it in when you ask her to. Another time I was in there recently I brought this up to another employee. With a shoulder shrug he replied, "well, that sounds like her!" This stuff shouldn't happen, so a one star rating is the result.

They follow up with me on my medications to make sure I'm taking them, and whenever I ran out of a medication before and needed a refill quickly, Kayla and Jan would provide that for me on the same day. Jan helped me many times resolve issues with my insurance and doctors and she was very patient and professional in her conduct. Kayla is the nicest person you can ever meet; I had surgery and couldn't walk, and they had an issue with deliveries at the time, so Kayla personally delivered my medications for me, twice. She's very patient, and she genuinely cares about patients and goes the extra mile, she goes way beyond what you expect to be dictated in a costumer policy, her job is personal to her. The staff is nice, very helpful and knowledgeable, never had to worry about refills or missing doses, and I just read online that AHF pharmacies are a not-for-profit healthcare provider, and that a big portion of their earnings go back into serving patients and communities with a focus on HIV patients.

I called the pharmacy back from a call they left. I stated that I no longer am a patient of a particular healthcare agency and do not desire my information to be further shared. I stated I'd like to sign a document that states this I was told no. He said any hospital or doctor can freely obtain information on me. I said if I am not their patient they should have no right to access nor inquire about anything about me. He said I was being a trouble maker. I don't understand this racist fragility of foreigners and europeans. Abusing their positions to discriminate and disrespect patients of ethnicities different than their own. The pharmacist was also calling me by my maiden name instead of my married name. Some even just call me by my first name. We are not friends. We don't have a personal relationship. Why feel that you have rights to address me as you desire instead of addressing me by my name? I am no longer a client of either. I was disconnected three times and apparently no one knew the office was closed this week. I wasted a trip there trying to talk to a live person. The decision to use this service was a big mistake.
