I can't believe I've forgotten to write a review. I started coming here a year ago and have been hooked. I come every 2-3 weeks to get my full face threaded (and every few visits, I get my neck done too). She is amaaaazing. She gets everything off and gives me the perfectly shaped, matching brows. I always feel pain around my lips but she's patient every single time. She works around my nose jewelry and I leave feeling refreshed every visit. Super fair prices for this economy and the service you receive. I haven't let anyone else in Rhode Island touch my brows and don't plan on it. I started going to this salon a couple of months ago and I love it. I have gotten multiple compliments on them since I started going here! I'm always super sketched out about trying new places, but you have to do that whenever you relocate. Last time I did it the lady took off a chunk of my eyebrows. It was so lovely! Upon sitting down I told her I was new to the area and looking for a new eyebrow place, and hopefully this would be the one! Definitely not... Had to tell her to clean up the hairs in between and outside my eyebrows 3 separate times and still there's clearly a lot more that can be done. (I'm not shooting for perfect, but it really seems like she did not care at all about what she was doing). Also, she didn't even trim back the long hairs... she did the motion but I could feel her not clip anything. I asked again and she did the same thing. I was honestly very nervous she would mess them up if I asked a third time. The shape is alright, but the results look very careless and there are half cut hairs on my bottom arches. I have to go home and shape and clean them up myself... so what's the point in getting a service done? I won't be coming back... left her a tip still but she needs to care more about her job. Update and dropping a star just because I hope someone sees this and takes action. She didn't even clean all the trimmings off my face and had me apply my own aloe gel... I've literally never had a service like that anywhere in 7 years. read more

The girl never asked if I was satisfied with her service. - no attention to detail. I've never gotten my eyebrows threaded and had someone miss so much hair! The quality of the threading was awful. I had to go home and spend 20min removing the 50+ hairs she missed. So disappointed and never coming again. read more

I started out having amazing threading experiences here when I moved to providence as a student! But unfortunately, the last two times I visited, I was helped by a different (new?) practitioner who most recently left me with sizable scabs all over my chin and ingrown hairs along my jaw--results I've NEVER experienced. My skin is not sensitive and my growth is not abnormal. I don't understand how you can leave your client bleeding and let them discover it on their own later. As a brown girl, i've been going to threading salons all my life and have a decently high pain tolerance, but when my nerves felt like they were on fire from repeatedly having the same hairs ripped at forcefully over and over again, it was all I could do not to cry. I've never left a review on yelp, but never have I had an experience this bad either. It's a shame because my eyebrows looked really good! read more

I'm so glad I found this threading salon! I always receive so many compliments on my eyebrows after I visit Aviva. They're quick and super affordable ($10 for eyebrow threading). During COVID they're only allowing 1 customer inside at a time, but I've never had to wait. As long as I'm living in the area I won't be going to any other salon! read more

Quick and painless! Had my eyebrows done and they were perfect. They are following precautions for COVID and I felt very safe.

I came here about 2.5 years ago and I returned today. I live about 30-35 mins away from Providence so I had this on my radar if I needed to get threaded in a pinch. My main threader doesn't know her opening date in MA and after this COVID-19 nightmare, my eyebrows and my upper lip needed some love. So I called and Disha said she was open until 6. Due to social distancing, you must wait by the door upon arrival and wait until you signaled to come in. And she's CASH only at the moment. Pros: she is fast and super super nice. read more

I have never had my eyebrows threaded before but I will say that I loved it. The lady that did it was so nice and let me come in as she was about to close. She worked on three or four people that had arrived and were waiting even though it was past her closing time. The best part was to watch her thing and every person before me left happy, as did I. The owner is amazing. When I came the first time (which was over a year ago), she told me honestly that the shape that I always asked for at another place doesn't work for me, due to my eyebrows growing almost in a straight line. So she told me she'll take off here and there but will leave alone some spaces so my eyebrows could grow back nicely. Over time, my shape has improved so much. I have also purchased the membership and never regretted it. She considers the natural hairline and works with what you have. She is also so friendly and makes you feel very welcomed. As we were driving home from brunch we talked about going to a salon to get our eyebrows done and low and behold we see this place! We immediately stop and think, why not? The owner sells really great membership packages but unfortunately I was only in Providence visiting from home. My friends and I got our brows done and the owner was very nice and sweet and told us about how she had not been there very long. She gave us tips on growth and what we should do to achieve a certain look. The place was very clean and tidy and the music was great. I discovered this new spot from searching Yelp (thanks yelpers). The place is clean and inviting. Parking was a bit tricky when I went due to a festival going on but I found something nearby. I was seen almost immediately. She took the time to ask me how I wanted my brows shaped. She also pointed out how one brow was shaped differently than the other. She said she would work on the shape and suggested I come back two weeks later. She was very nice and knowledgeable . Love my brows! read more

I have been coming here for about a year and I loved it because it's always the same woman, she DID a great job and it's super reasonably priced. But today I stopped in to get my brows cleaned up and she absolutely butchered them!! I have no idea why but this has never happened before and I won't be back because of it. She completely hacked off my edges so my brows are a weird rainbow shape now.. I have naturally thick and dark brows so there was no need to change my shape and I certainly didn't want my shape changed. I'm super self conscious about it and will be purchasing a brow pencil for the first time in my life. Will be growing out for months and won't return here when they finally do come back in. I posted a before and after so you can see where she rounded out the whole corner and made my brows look weirdly far apart. I'd be cautious if you're gonna give it a try. read more
