    I just recently rented from this location what was supposed to be a couple days that turned into a…read moremonth, during this time I was constantly harassed for wanting to extend the rental... I've rented from other hertz locations throughout the us an never had too keep putting deposits down when I wanted too extend my rental, but each time i extended the rental I was charged the rental plus deposit but I paid it because they threatened to report the car stolen if I didn't pay. With my cars still in the shop and no date when it would be done kinda had no choice.... Now what pisses me off the most is the fact they lied too me saying I needed too bring the car into switch it out cause it was due for maintenance. I told them I worked at 10 am a hour away so it needed too be quick the clerk assured me I'd be in an out of there, so I arrived early at 820 and because I left my card and drivers license at home (in a rush) I couldn't drive off even though they have both items photocopied already which didn't make sense but either way I had too get picked up and taken home to get those items before I came back I called and I was told the owner doesn't want too rent to me again like are you serious and just hung up the phone now my account is double charged by 2200$$$ and now won't answer my calls or email so called my Banks Fraud Department and filled a claim

When we…read morewere down there, the first car that we tried was full of cigarette smoke, being that I have such an asthmatic/allergy to cigarette smoke, I asked to be switched. The gentleman there was kind and gave us a small Subaru( but said it was mid-size) and it was ok. Got us to point A to point B. We could feel every bump in the road and the seats were super hard. But, we were grateful that God gave us a car to help us get from point A to point B. Then this morning, it was raining; so we started to use our windshield wiper blades, and realized that one of them didn't work. Seeing out of the windows while it is raining, would be a definite plus. So we stopped in at this budget here; and a gentleman named Mike, helped us out and got us a RAV4. Switched us out quickly which we were thankful for. Now we had to fill the other tank up, and we did as we promised. So now we have a comfier vehicle, one that sits up higher; and we don't have a vehicle that we can feel every single bump in the road. So next time you are at this Avis/Budget place, ask for Mike. Super nice and awesome gentlemen!!

Well I had reserved a full-size car what I got stuck with was a mini-van and I was told it was an upgrade. Nope, sorry, not sorry, I don't need a buttload of seats . . . but got stuck with it b/c I was told, "Take it or leave it!" I figured, crap, I can deal with it for a few days as I was on my way out of town. Well, I returned into town on 9/12/18 and began trying to call the local office around 2 p.m. to trade this sucker in as I had paid for a full-size car thru 9/15/18. No one would answer the phone at the local office and I kept getting forwarded to the national customer service line. I did speak to someone at the national office and was told try calling the local office again. WTF? Okay, still no one answering - and don't even try to do anything at an airport rental location unless you have some sort of plane ticket confirming that you actually traveled - WTF x 2 !!?? So after various unsuccessful tries at contacting someone from local office again that I rented it from I tried on-line chat with Budget national office, and they told me to call the 800# and have them deal with it...UGH!!! Well, still SSDD. Fast forward to Thursday, SOS and didn't even drive the thing, beast, monster gas-guzzler. So now it's Friday morning and was hopeful once again and called the 800# for Budget customer service and was told by Jose, "Sorry but you need to talk to the location in which you rented the vehicle from." I wanted to say, "Listed here Jose, I am unable to contact them as they're not answering the phone." Jose had suggested I drive up to the location and see about exchanging vehicles that way - double UGH!! I don't want to drive all the way up there for bupkiss, zilch, nada b/c this thing gets shit gas mileage. So I'm stuck and it sucks - I've paid for a useless rental until Saturday 9/15/18 but I'll be damned if I return it early out of mere principle. DON'T RENT FROM THEM is my advice - you'll have your car that you reserved early jacked right out from you and may not have anyone to assist you in getting another more acceptable vehicle. What a load of BS! An upgrade is only an upgrade if they're is some benefit for the renter. This is more of a punishment to me than an upgrade period. The gas mileage sucks and oh yeah, it's a fricking minivan. (No offense to the mini-van or those who own one, but if I would have wanted a minivan I would have purchased one or at least reserved a minivan.

I wanted a Kubota. The "local" Kubota dealer (40 mi away) was my 1st stop. I gave them my parameters and my budget. Over 2 months they gave me quotes that were too high and not close to what I wanted. They weren't truthful with me and tried to only sell me what THEY had in their stock. I was driving north on Inst 5 with my wife, discussing my frustration when she said, "... well, are they the only Kubota dealer?" On a whim, she Googled Kubota dealers near me. Up popped Nor Cal Tractor Sales ... (these guys are all part of the same company) ... in Redding CA and they were 10 mi ahead and right off the highway. We walked in, dressed for "Lake Time" and their sales rep (Kris B) was immediately accommodating. I told him my saga and what I had been looking for. Model numbers etc. That's where I learned I'd been misdirected. Kris pointed out the models I was asking about were older and no longer available. They didn't even have them in their rental fleet any longer. Then he showed me the new model ... the one the other guy told was so new they couldn't even get one for 6 mos. ... he had 4 of them. I had given him my budget already, remember? He came in $4k under!!! Then ... cherry on top ... he delivered it for $200!!!
