When your child begins to feel defeat begins to feel like the coach doesn't like him, when he gets punished by playing out field then you need to rethink and realign what baseball should really be about and who is teaching and coaching your child! When your child has the passion and the desire to show up at every practice every tournament with hope and positivity in his heart only to get belittled by one coach that only looks at some players and not all, then rethink your decision as a parent as to why you are allowing one coach to have so much influence over your child that he no longer feels the love to be out on that field! Parents take a step back and look at the bigger picture you have one chance at your child being a kid, one chance at people influencing your child, make your decision count and when you start to see negative toxic energy you need to bow out asap! If you put the value of baseball or any sport in terms of dollars and cents then there is a real problem! It's understandable that coaches do this for an income they want to mainstream their business I get it,but at what cost! Please watch this organization closely you may fit in just fine but watch the micro managing, watch how it becomes more about money then baseball! Watch out for your child his integrity and when you feel something is off listen to that intuition and close that door! You don't need to feel pressured to stay with this organization you have every right to take your dollar somewhere else! Last thought I have drunk the kook-aid many of times in life thinking the presenter was on it, had the greatest vision but don't let people or coaches full you! They come in swift sell you the moon but what your left with is empty pockets, and empty promises you come to the realization that not everyone will fit with every team let it go with grace that is what I have done your child will Thank you!

The play space was a good size and there was hardly anyone there with the exception of right after a class let out. There's a trampoline, a ball pit, slides, bars, and plenty of things to climb on. The class side is amazing!! We had to opportunity to try out one of their programs that is on Friday afternoons (a semi-organized play group) and it was great! My toddler had a blast. It's too far for us to sign up for classes, but we will definitely go again to play.

We enrolled our child in the 6 month membership for…read more2-3 year olds and saw significant improvement in his physical capabilities and social abilities over this period. The classes are structured to include 2-3 activities/courses within 45-mins and it can be a little overwhelming for kids to adjust, especially in the initial few sessions but they get super involved after getting the hang of it. The entire family looked forward to the class every weekend! Awards are a nice touch for kids to feel proud, be bold and stand in front of a crowd. Scheduling is easy through the app and makeup classes are available in case the regular ones are missed. A couple of improvement points that other parents have noted - the floor is unclean so kids feet do get dirty. It can be icky when kids then try to wipe off the dirt spaces with their hands. You have to give a month's advance notice to discontinue membership but that notice is for billing cycle so you will be billed for one more month after that. So really they need a two months notice to ensure you can complete all the classes and don't get overcharged.

The coach pushes fencers to compete nationally but only trains them for the recreational level. Attendance at competitive practices is sparse. Additionally, he is known to use profanity in private lessons, even with children as young as 10 years old. If you are an adult looking for some light exercise, this may be a viable option. Otherwise, do not fence at AFC.

Austin Fencers Club reshaped him into a competitive fencer and march 2014 was the first competitive competition we went in Dallas. After rigorous summer camp and training, he was qualified to go to National Championship in July 2015 and placed within TOP 50s in the nation for DIV III. He recently placed on top 10 for North Texas Open - first competition in the season which scored spot for National Championship in July 2016! This is great place to learn Olympic level sport with highly qualified coaches. If you are looking into effective workout that can help you for long run, this is also great place as well. She is welcoming, accepting, and kind, and meets kids where they are -- and also knows how to push the kids to be their best, and expects them to excel and to achieve great things. I knew nothing about the cheer world before encountering SAEC, but now that I know more, I am incredibly grateful for my kid to have been introduced to it this way: on a friendly, supportive, safe, positive team.
