Baseball should never be about favoritism, baseball should never be high priced, baseball should be enjoyable, fun, it should be the best thing happening in the moment for your child! To see the laughter, the smiles, the friendships should out way politics of such an organization! When your child begins to feel defeat begins to feel like the coach doesn't like him, when he gets punished by playing out field then you need to rethink and realign what baseball should really be about and who is teaching and coaching your child! When your child has the passion and the desire to show up at every practice every tournament with hope and positivity in his heart only to get belittled by one coach that only looks at some players and not all, then rethink your decision as a parent as to why you are allowing one coach to have so much influence over your child that he no longer feels the love to be out on that field! Parents take a step back and look at the bigger picture you have one chance at your child being a kid, one chance at people influencing your child, make your decision count and when you start to see negative toxic energy you need to bow out asap! If you put the value of baseball or any sport in terms of dollars and cents then there is a real problem! It's understandable that coaches do this for an income they want to mainstream their business I get it,but at what cost! Please watch this organization closely you may fit in just fine but watch the micro managing, watch how it becomes more about money then baseball! Watch out for your child his integrity and when you feel something is off listen to that intuition and close that door! You don't need to feel pressured to stay with this organization you have every right to take your dollar somewhere else! Last thought I have drunk the kook-aid many of times in life thinking the presenter was on it, had the greatest vision but don't let people or coaches full you! They come in swift sell you the moon but what your left with is empty pockets, and empty promises you come to the realization that not everyone will fit with every team let it go with grace that is what I have done your child will Thank you! read more

We made the decision to go from rec ball to select at 9u. TRPD has been the biggest blessing with that move. Every coach is sincerely invested in getting to know, coach, and develop the boys into not only great ball players, but exceptional young men while having fun in the process. They hold the players accountable while giving them the tools to excel if they put in the work. The families and players inside TRPD have all been amazing. Practices are run like a well oiled machine with coaches spread across stations. TRPD has been a fantastic fit for our family and for our son. Within a of months of pre-season instruction, they had fixed his throwing mechanics and rebuilt his swing. Then, over the course of a spring season, our son's baseball IQ skyrocketed, his hitting was on point and he became one of the teams most consistent pitchers-even pitching complete games at 11u. The practices are of an elevated quality with each player getting generous reps, rotating through various stations in small groups to efficiently cater to each kid. There are always several coaches at each practice working with the kids, so no one is left behind and all of the coaches have a clear sense of what each player needs to work on and will communicate that to each other and to the player. Communication to the parents is great with lots of emails to make sure you're not missing anything. Outside of skill development, the program holds all players to a high standard with regards to ethics, integrity, accountability and self-motivation. Our son has established strong friendships with his teammates, and we love the families. I honestly can't say enough good things about this program. read more

My son is in his second season with TRPD and I can't say enough positive things about this organization and the direction they're headed. TRPD offers all the resources your kid could ever need to become a better athlete and young man. The amount of one on one training and team workouts is really impressive. The high school and collegiate athletes that help the coaching staff set a great example for all the young kids. Our 9 year old grandson Preston has only been working with the coaches at TRPD since June,  but in that short time we have been very impressed with his development. He is developing his skills on and off the field making him a better person and teammate.  The consistency in coaching and instruction provided by the coaches at TRPD have helped him set and work on his individual development plan. He gets the same message and coaching no matter who works with him. Players learned to set goals and are accountable for their actions.  Coaches treat the boys with respect and set very clear behavior and playing expectations. Our son has played for TRPD for many years. We love Trent and all the coaches and credit Trent for having our son ready for high school baseball. Now as we start thinking about college Trent is the reason our son will have a chance to play at the collegiate level. Trent is a very good man and a great coach. We have been looking for a baseball academy-style program for our son emphasizing technique and form. In our experience, bad habits (and bullying) are tolerated as long as the team wins, and we really wanted our child to develop the skills needed to play high school baseball (and hopefully college). We have found the perfect baseball program in TRPD. They work with each child to develop them into a better player by asking the kids to set high goals and plan out how to achieve them. The coaches are constructive and NOT old school. They use data to drive the program and have the kids best interest in mind with each decision made in games and practices. Here, they do not tolerate bullying, and everyone is pushed equally to perform better. Our son was hitting home runs in little league because of their program, and now on their club team, he is playing new positions that HE wants to play and becoming a well-rounded player with multiple positions HE is passionate about. They are training him for baseball in high school and college... not to win rings with shortcuts. They are pushing him farther than we thought possible, all in a positive environment. He loves going to practice, and wants to do drills in his off-time too! We couldn't be happier with their program and recommend it to everyone we know. This season alone his pitching and hitting velocity/distance have climbed considerably... and we still have a month left! read more

TRPD is the Best! We have had nothing but a great experience with TRPD and the coaches there. TRPD is a very POSITIVE environment and does everything needed to prepare the boys for their future in high school, college ball and life in general. Trent does everything he can to make sure the coaches coaching the boys, the parents in the stands and the boys out on the field are all positive, respectful etc... to each other, the umpires and to the parents and boys of the other teams. I can say others DO notice this! My son has gone through the hitting program and has played on the team; this Spring will be the third season he has played and we would not want to play for anyone else! After playing against teams where the coaches are yelling and screaming at the boys, the parents are yelling at thier boys, all the negitivity etc..I can really, really appreciate and respect Trent's high standards in this area! Don't get me wrong, Trent and the other coaches are firm but in a positive way! If your interested in finding a Coach that will teach and guide your son to be a great ball player and a respectable young man I highly recommend you contact Trent and see what he and TRPD are all about. He is not about how many trophy's etc...he can win, he is about helping and guiding your son to be the best ball player and an all around great, independent young man that he can be. read more

An Outstanding Organization, truly dedicated to developing players. We came to TRPD for hitting lessons after we were less than satisfied with results from nearby organizations in Cedar Park. We were blown away by their attention to detail and the time they spent getting know our son, his interests, and understanding his fears. They worked with him in every aspect of the game, (mental and physical) and we saw immediate results after just 4 sessions. I was perfectly happy to have my son play with Trent for two seasons only to find that he places his loyalty to the exorbitantly high rates that he charges and is willing to dismiss players from his team because they had a try out with another team. If you have large amounts of money to waste on a 6-14 season while watching your childs skills slowly diminish.... go right ahead and pay Trent to play your son. read more
