Might be the best arepa I've ever had. I highly recommend going to their Facebook page as they post where they will be on the weekends. The most popular arepa is the beefy. It's absolutely delicious. The family that runs the business reminds me of my family. It's a lovely family that cares about food and treats it as an art. They are friendly and caring and it shows on the food. I highly recommend "the beefy"arepa. I am coming back probably this weekend cause it's that good. Their mountain burger looks to die for. If you get a chance I truly highly recommend them. They have 5 star reviews for a reason. Muchas gracias por la comida rica que Dan y por ser muy buena gente. Los veo pronto.

The food was amazing the arepas were crunchy and tasty, the queso frito was awesome. Tequeños were delicious too!

We went to truck yard just to try the arepas. They were very good! The service was friendly and fast. We tried the Partier and the Beefy Arepas, as well as the Avila Nachos. The fries are not special, but the rest of the food was well worth the trip.

Definitely recommend! We visited for mother days and we loved everything…read more Elote 10/10 I would definitely be back for that! I recommend the arrachera it's basically fajitas! Super good and the meat was nicely seasoned and cooked.

However, I do feel there are some details that need more attention to elevate the overall experience. The white outdoor seat cushions looked extremely dirty, which took away from the otherwise beautiful atmosphere. I completely understand that the somewhat outdoor seating comes with exposure to the elements, but a stronger maintenance routine or even replacing the white cushions with a floral or patterned fabric could make a huge difference. It would not only hide wear better, but also complement the vibrant colors of the roses and décor beautifully. As for the food, it was okay but not particularly memorable. We ordered the Thursday special, which includes the meat board with rice and beans. While the $99 price point for the meats is reasonable, the portions of rice and beans were only enough for one person at most, which was disappointing for a shared meal experience. I also ordered the halibut and was honestly surprised by how small the portion was for $54. In my opinion, it was not worth the price. Overall, it was an okay experience. The restaurant is undeniably pretty and great for ambiance and photos, but the food and value did not quite match the setting. Unfortunately, it's not somewhere I would personally return to.

A friendly guy came over to take our order, and since it was our first time, we told him we were feeling adventurous and asked for recommendations. He didn't hesitate--suggested the pabellón and the patacón, and we went for it. The pabellón was a hearty Venezuelan classic with shredded beef, black beans, rice, and sweet fried plantains--and ours came topped with a fried egg. The beef was super tender and packed with flavor. The patacón? Wild in the best way. It had shredded beef, ham, bacon, cheese (both sliced and grated!), lettuce, tomato, chips, ketchup, and tartar sauce--all sandwiched between two big, crispy fried plantains. Total flavor bomb. Both dishes were HUGE. Either one would've been enough for the two of us, but we shared both and ended up bringing most of the patacón home for a very happy snack tomorrow. The restaurant has a high ceiling and a light, casual vibe with narrow bench-type tables that comfortably seat 4 diners. The chatter was lively with lots of Spanish between the proprietor and his guests. Many were obvious regulars. Definitely a great find. We can't wait to go back!
