Checked in for my stay and staff was kind and helpful. Lobby is spacious and modern - very pretty. Overall, seems very clean other than some very minimal aging in the bathroom. Room is kind of small and a little cramped considering the rates. I travel weekly for work so I've seen the best and the worst and this place is pretty good overall.

Been staying here consistently over the past several months. The staff is very nice. They had…read moresome recent turnover so a couple have left, but most have remained and service still good. Lots of great positives here. The rooms are clean, mini-fridge, microwave, clean bathroom. Shower has shampoo / soap / conditioner dispensers which is great. Towels plentiful, clean. Beds are relatively firm. The TV - good selection of channels, and HBO is their jam there while others I have seen Showtime. It's all good since I like HBO. They also have good options to plug in your devices, extra outlets located on top of the end table and desk, and USB option so you don't have to get on you knees. Great concept. Breakfast options open until 10am which is solid. Pretty good options, the manager there cares about her customers and does a great job keeping it up and the quality too. My favorite is the oatmeal - which is great to eat throughout the day, something I don't make a lot at home. The eggs here are solid - typical omelet w/ cheese at times, but I love the scrambled eggs which are fluffy and good quality. Bacon here looks good but is thin and sometimes greasy and not as satisfying, wish it was thicker cut and crispier. Waffle stations available too. I like the yogurt options and also milk and chocolate milk. They also make bags of snacks with bottled water for you to take on the go and cannot eat there. I wish: - they had A2 milk or lactose free milk options - they had sausage links (I've seen at some comparable hotels in area) - but I don't really need the extra cholesterol so not a deal breaker. - They could do something about the plethora of kids that stay there w/ families. That's the only major downside here is some large family groups or teams stay there, and a lot of the parents don't watch their kids and allow them to roam around aimlessly. So one night they were running up and down the hallway until midnight - omfg I was irritated. And some of them treat this hotel like it's home so they don't mind yelling or talking loud in the hallways. Or the room above me - the kids are jumping and running around until late - omg. But it usually ends at midnight if you can handle that. There's also an indoor pool there with games. I have mentioned this and the staff are aware and said I need to let them know and they will say something. But they try to keep things under control and they are frustrated as well. Recently I noticed their prices have increased by nearly 50%, so I split my time w/ another hotel 25 min away, but overall when I am in this area I do like this Hampton Inn and do recommend them. Great rooms, clean, customer service, ample parking too.

The photos do not do this place justice. Staff is super friendly and they say hello as you walk by and make you feel welcome. Rooms, are clean and cozy. We got the standard king and it was really nice. The grounds are immaculate, and beautiful. The pool is heated and we never couldn't find lounge chairs. The dock by the lake does get a bit busy if you don't get there after breakfast, but we still got chairs. There was a wait for the kayaks, but only because there aren't enough paddles. Breakfast is delicious and it was a good mix of fresh, healthy and with a few sugary goodies like donuts and muffins. It's a really wonderful, relaxing and quiet adult only resort.

The hospitality was so welcoming (shoutout to Melissa and David my angels), calm, sweet, and helpful. The grounds are gorgeous, the lobby beautifully designed and cozy, and the rooms gorgeous (floating stone slab bedside table yes pleeeasssee!) The complimentary breakfast was so yummy and had so many healthy options. The beach was lovely, the bikes were so fun, and everyone kept a quiet atmosphere that was serene but not strict. I'm from Los Angeles and have travelled all over Europe--this resort took the cake for my most relaxing experience. I WILL be returning as often as I can. Thank you thank you THANK you! I never write yelp reviews but this place was so dang good I feel called to share!

The rooms are clean and spacious, and fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink, dishwasher, plates, and utensils. A few things to note: 1) Complimentary breakfast is a convenient option but I wasn't very thrilled with the choices because I was looking forward to certain typical American fare such as sausage links, pancakes, and scrambled eggs. But that is not to say the breakfast option was any less. It had a hot bar with pre-made frittata, muffin sandwich with sausage and egg, muffin sandwich with bacon and cheese, and biscuits. Next to the hot bar is a toaster with a variety of bread and bagels and two waffle makers with iffy timers. Further down the aisle is a cereal bar, fridge with milk and yogurt, and a juice dispenser. There should be something for everyone. 2) The pool is a nice perk. The water was warm and the facility was well stocked with towels. Our kids had a blast. 3) I received a few welcome bags with each one consisting of two bottles of water and a bag of Chex mix.

We had a King Studio Suite and it was nice to have the extra room as we left the kids home this time. We had a kitchenette, dishwasher and refrigerator. The bed was fine but the pillows were extremely soft so didn't sleep great and the sheets/ blanket were not very functional or warm. They didn't stay on the bed. The shower water pressure was passable not great. The TV had a good selection of channels. The breakfast had a limited selection of items and seating was tight. I would consider returning.

It ended up being a glamping weekend for the family. Cabins are dog friendly. $50 charge for dogs but they are spoiled! There is a $70 destination fee which includes firewood, fire starters, snacks, waters, and s'mores. As a Marriott elite, I get the option of points or a food and beverage amenity. I usually go with the amenity when I'm not traveling by myself. Wow. Marriott out did themselves. Look how great the amenity box was. It included so many treats! This was our second time glamping, the first time with our own shower, toilet, and kitchen. Not too shabby! We really enjoyed cooking dinner and the complimentary pour over coffee. The windows were great! So big! Felt like we were in the woods. The space was very private too. Loved that there was no WiFi. There was a radio and books. We brought games but really loved that we got to talk with no interruptions. Would be fun to come back with a group of friends too.

Great way to slow things down and disconnect. Plenty of space in the cabin for two people. There are 41 total cabins but they are spread out and tucked into the woods so still feel very private. They include firewood, fire starters, s'mores stuff, coffee, and tea as part of the destination fee of $70. There were plenty of cooking supplies, clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even a little first aid kit. We enjoyed going for a morning walk around the trail loop and watching the sunset at the lake across the street. It was very quiet and peaceful. Check in was simple and went smooth. Overall highly impressed and will be visiting other post card cabin destinations.
