We were then left in the lobby with no proper place to rest and no food provided. This treatment was exhausting, stressful, and completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, the return trip was just as horrible. On my way back to New York from El Salvador, the plane took off and flew for approximately two hours before turning back due to a mechanical issue.
