I live w/1 adrenal gland due to a tumor I had removed 10 years ago. As it is rare, I am fairly educated on it as I have to be. There are only so many studies that have been done for people living with my condition long term and adrenal gland function. Now, if this is your first biomedical consult, you might be overwhelmed by the number of supplements he recommends. The way I look at it is he puts everything on the table so you can take over as Dr. Mom/Dad. This saves you money. Initial purpose of visit was to renew a prescription for my thyroid medication, which I knew would require blood work. Came in today and left with a prescription to start immediately, documents to take for my blood work at any nearby Quest center, and a follow up set for 3 weeks out. Very decent! Office staff at front desk was friendly and helpful. Doctor assistant I saw for weight/BP and initial visit conversation was pleasant and personable. Doctor himself came in quickly, was professional with a warm demeanor, and addressed my concerns thoroughly before moving on. The most impressive part though, is that from first walking in and completing initial paperwork, to waiting for a room, taking down my stats, seeing the doc, getting my prescription, and paying/setting my follow up appointment - I was in and out in under 45 minutes.

I see her for my annual Pap and now I am seeing her for perimenopause symptoms and hormone replacement. She is so attentive and doesn't miss a step. I had tried the hormone pellets and they were great just not sustainable realistically long term financially for me, because insurance doesn't cover it. $500 every 3 months is tough for me so I was looking for another option. She asked all the questions for me so that I did not have to know everything to say. She even had information preprinted and gave it to me so that someone my age knows what I need to be doing for myself and my health. I was given an option that would be more affordable and I left the office feeling empowered and hopeful that I will be feeling better soon. She encouraged me to follow up in 9 months. She said she would refill my prescriptions and the back office staff asked me to call to schedule my appointment for October in April when the that part of schedule will open up. The office is busy and there are multiple doctors working and seeing patients. The front office is running smoothly though. I felt like they were pleasant. They have a long lobby with several areas with chairs to sit. The nurse that brought me back, took my vitals, roomed me, and was very nice. I recommend this office and especially Dr. Falcone. She is top notch. Very professional, knowledgeable, and has an excellent bedside manner. I am grateful to have her as my doctor. She always arrives in the exam room with a big smile, she's super friendly, knowledgeable, gentle, caring & doesn't make you feel rushed. She's a great listener to any concerns or questions I have. One time when I arrived for my yearly exam I was super stressed after getting some bad news from my job & she actually took the time to let me confide in her on what was going on. This was so appreciated & she didn't need to do this for me, thank you because it helped to talk about the issue with the 1st human I happened to come in contact with after getting the phone call from my boss. I did have an issue with a staff member while waiting to be seen last year. She didn't normally work the front desk but she had a horrible demeanor & wasn't very professional. I did find out today that she no longer works there & that the doctor's had replaced their staff due to having too many issues with them so if you have run into any issues with them please give the doctor's another chance. I even had an issue getting a hold of my MD's MA last year & scheduling an appointment earlier this year. It does make it hard for patient's when they love their doctor but not their staff & unfortunately unprofessional, uneducated & rude staff can affect their practice. I was glad to know that something has been done about it. I love how they have their own lab in house so I don't have far to go when I want blood work done with my yearly exam. The phlebotomist has always been really nice, professional, gentle & friendly. I don't usually have to wait long to be called back & review home meds & what I'm in the office for. I do find it odd that the only vitals that the MA takes is your weight & blood pressure. No heart rate, respirations, temp. or your height. I have run into having trouble in not being able in getting an appointment for a "problem" in a timely manner which can be frustrating if it's something that needs attention & may be gone by the time you do get an appointment. I like when doctor's leave some extra time in their day to fill these requests.
