This place is sooo good! They have large size portions, and fair prices. They have kind staff, and overall, I always have a great experience. read more

Took Mom out for breakfast here. Everyone (including our waitress Renee) was friendly. We both ordered the Northeast Omelette, filled with seafood and topped with hollandaise sauce. My mouth thought it died and went to heaven. Great experience, great prices, and amazing breakfast. read more

Food is delicious and service is outstanding! Juice options are fresh and pancakes are tasty!

Overpriced by a lot. 2 people for breakfast and 50$ later. It's breakfast not filet. Same owners of Theos and the now out of business chop house. Their prices were extremely high there as well. Maybe try opening up a restaurant that's affordable for the average people. Won't ever be going back there for food ever again. Since Covid everybody and everywhere Someone is trying to rip us off this is just another example of it. read more

Food was amazing and service from Paige was great. She went above and beyond to make our meal perfect. The Christmas ambiance was adorable.

We really love to eat and meet at Avgo. The menu is good and the food is good. Service is very nice and they checked in on us in good time. Lots of groups so it was a little loud. read more

Really nice new breakfast location Has wide variety of coffee options which is great Went there Father's Day and really got food quickly read more

All good for an insta worthy pic but besides that it's not that great. Cute set up but extremely loud, especially in the front side. The first time I went with a group of six, one of had to wait an extra 20 mins for their food. We both ordered chicken and it was rubbery and had chewy chunks in it. We both agreed that the quality of the chicken was lacking. Then they forgot about all the sauces. The second time I went the waitress came right away with drinks but didn't come back til 35 mins after to take our order. It's cute and all but the food is not worth it. read more

Went to brunch with my mom and brother. I had the Veggie Skillet with Upside-Down Pineapple Pancake with a fresh squeezed orange mango juice. Eggs were light and the vegetables in the skillet were cooked well. Not greasy at all. The pancake was light and fluffy with a really good brown sugar sauce. Good food and good atmosphere. read more

Very good waitress, meh food and the manager was no help. First time trying this place with some family for brunch. I ordered the brisket skillet special, advertised as brisket with BBQ sauce, and your basic skillet eggs hash browns peppers and onions with side of French toast/pancakes etc. I guess I was expecting smoked barbecue brisket or there's a different type of brisket because the meat tasted like corned beef. There was a tiny amount of a sauce with no flavor from it. The waitress said she would get a manager and she did but all the manager did was assure me yes it's brisket, and yes it has a sauce. I said the meat was pretty thick for a brisket and he responded they're trying out their own cut THIN brisket. (?) The waitress got me some actual barbecue sauce and it tasted a lot better. They have a lot of menu items so I'm sure I would be happy with something else, I was disappointed with the brisket because it was more expensive than their other normal entrees. Service was very good but if we didn't get that then I wouldn't consider coming back. French toast was really good. read more

Excellent, professional, courteous service. Menu specials change monthly and are superb. Always delicious and the best house coffee/lattes! Lovely, clean ambiance. Always phenomenal visits. Thanks Avgo! read more

The best breakfast in NWI! The portions are huge and so many healthy options available.

This was THE BEST BREAKFAST PLACE EVER! I actually came here closer to lunchtime but wasn't feeling any of the lunch options so I ordered a nutella crepe. (No judging ). But this was so delicious! It was the best crepe I had ever had, and the staff was so friendly, too. I love the atmosphere, because it is so nice inside! My new favorite restaurant! read more

AVGO - Nutella Crepe - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Saint John, Indiana

Avgo is overrated and over priced. The food is okay. Not great. Selections are interesting if you're looking for more than just basic breakfast fare. But be prepared to pay a premium price for a fancy breakfast. The service is good. The restaurant is clean but lacks ambiance. It's very noisy and difficult to have a conversation. With all that said I'd recommend you check it out for yourself. You may love it. read more

Yummy breakfast! Portions are huge, so if you can agree on something, you may want to split. Very attentive staff, would definitely return!

Great breakfast Great service! Large portions. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to coming back!

delicious food, and great service. the place is clean and organized, and if you go at the right time the wait isn't too long

Good place for breakfast, excellent service. My only complaint is they up charge for paying with a card, even a debit card.

Good food, great service and always clean . I enjoy some unique breakfast dishes. And great wait staff.

Avgo is sometimes slow and many times people waiting out side the door. The food is awesome, I have not had anything bad from here yet. You always gotta to remember going to any restaurant, its never perfect. Service sometimes is slow, sometimes you get the wrong items, even sometimes you are missing items. Its a restaurant....these things happen! I have been going for the past 6 months and I am grateful this place has been satisfying than any other resteraunt that serves breakfast. Most I have quit going to because unsatisfactory visits. Prices are great and portions are large. I hope this place stays a while! read more

The Food at Avgo is very good. Gets very busy so most times you'll have to wait for a bit.

My fiancé ordered a rare skirt stake for breakfast. When they steak arrived it was well done and we politely asked for it to be remade and the obliged, however when they remake came out the outside was seared and the inside was still ice cold and raw. We had to wait almost 15-20 minutes for a waitress to come back and get a manager and when the manager arrived he was completely rude to my fiancé and told her "that's how rare is" and refused to help her any further and walked away. Food regulations require all food to be cooked to a minimum of 140 degrees . I'm appalled at how the manager treated her. I did not expect money back , we simply wanted the food to be cooked correctly and safely. Our server Carly was the only good part of this service and tried her absolute best to make sure she got what she ordered and could tell how poor the management was treating my fiancé. read more

Newer breakfast/lunch restaurant in town. Staff very polite and food is delicious. Thru have a great selection to choose from and the ambiance is nice. What I do t like, is the good is way over priced! They give you enough for two people do if they cut that down, they could cut prices. They also add a few onto your bill if you use a ceding card. read more

First time here for my wife and I. Easy to find, great atmosphere. Our Waitress, Diamond, was friendly, professional, and attentive. Recommend coming with an appetite. Portions were huge, I had a 5 Egg, Greek Omelette. Could not finish it, and I am a BIG eater. Look forward to working my way through the menu. read more

Went for breakfast this morning. Wait staff is great. Biscuits and gravy left a lot to be desired. The biscuits weren't fresh or homemade. The sausage gravy was a bland white gravy with a few pieces of sausage thrown in. I've had other things from here that were quite good but the biscuits and gravy- not good. read more

Big disappointment. Ordered the classic eggs Benedict and the poached eggs were cooked well done. When receiving new eggs they egg whites weren't even cooked and the hollandaise had no seasoning. For a place that is literally called "egg" in Greek, I eggspected for them to at least be able to cook their namesake. read more

My first time was eggs and sausage. The sausage was the precooked patty type. Similar to McDonalds. My eggs and sausage were glistening with grease. I ate but evacuated as soon as I got home. I gave them a second try and I had the chicken tenders with Buffalo sauce. Big mistake because it was basically a big portion of waffle fries(decent) and four pre-packaged type bland so-called tenders like you would get at a cafeteria. Reminded me of Tyson brand. They were soft on the outside and mushy on the inside and didn't taste like anything. Toddler food. I brought this up to the manager and she said that they stopped serving fresh tenders a year and a half ago because of cost. I would pay more for actual fresh chicken but never here again. And these folks around here think this is acceptable because of the fancy digs. I know good food and this isn't it. No more. read more

The food was decent and presented very beautifully. It was overpriced like crazy for like 3 slices of burnt bacon it was 4.00 and orange juice and coffee was 3.00. The water glasses were dirty and smudged. We got the bad wolf skillet which tasted average and the red cakes were really good and the pretzel croissant was good. The banana split french toast was great as well. Parking was really good. The overall price will be the reason we will not return will read more

Went here for daughter's bday brunch. Ordered a pear mimosa... woah! I didn't realize it was made with pear liquer. I had to sip it, a little at a time. It was delish! We had the fruit bruschetta for an app, that was so good! I love me some chilaquiles, and I found it on this menu. Chorizo chilaquiles for me. BLTSMA for husband, minus the tomatoes. Son1 had the red velvet french toast. Son2 had the savory crepes, minus the mushrooms. Daughter had a veggie skillet. My chilaquiles were good, a little too soupy for me, not sure why that was, but I wouldn't order them agan. Something about the red sauce they used. I'm not sure. Everyone else loved what they ordered. Son1 said he essentially got cake, not french toast, becaues of all sweet that was his meal. Our waitress was super nice. We didn't have to wave her down for anything, as she was very attentive. I'd definitely return! read more

Food is good if you can get them to sell it to you. Had a long night at the hospital and called them this morning to get take out. They refused our business said they were too busy. Asked if we could come in and pick up they said no. I prefer to do business with people that can do business. We won't be back here or to Prime which we frequent. Maybe understaffed or simply run poorly. read more

Great service and I would say the food is great but the lemon berry pancakes came out with chocolate sauce on them which is not on the menu. Completely over powered the lingonberry cream sauce (not to mention fruit and chocolate....yikes!) But I take responsibility for my own experience because rather than complain now I simply should have sent it back. Nonetheless I'll definitely dine there again. read more

Enjoyed my breakfast meeting there. Sara, our server, took good care of us. She made great suggestions and helped us decide on what to choose. My friend got the eggs Benedict - I'll be getting that next time! I got the bad wolf skillet minus the ham. Bring your appetite when you come. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I can't think of another breakfast place in the area that can come close to this one! read more
