I had a leak in my waterline between the water meter and my house. Didn't know it for months as the leak only caused a damp area at the end of my drive, but the water bill sure let me know. I started looking for a plumber once the city confirmed the leak was as stated above. My water line comes into my house underneath a series of concrete retaining walls. I had 2 companies that said they couldn't do it. Another where the owner looked at the job and was supposed to get back to me and never did. I got concerned and was fortunate to get a recommendation for Jake's company. He called me back the same day. He looked at the job and I suggested he move the water meter to the other side of the drive. It removed the retaining wall issue as the boring work could disturb its foundation.
Jake's bid explained the work and the price was reasonable given the few other quotes I did get. He kept me informed on the permit process and subcontractor arraignments. He was able to have a new line bored under my driveway to come in through the garage floor so as to not damage my tile floor in the finished space. He came in on time and on budget and gave me a new outdoor faucet by my garage entry door. He listened and was easy to work with. read more
