The instructor Casey was so clear and helpful in explaining things it really broke it down so completely un-crafty people could easily become super crafty! I made a blanket the perfect size for my cats and they are obsessed with it. I was so happy they recorded the class so I could go back and finish up with proper instructions the next day. They made the class fun and engaging, and left me feeling accomplished at the end! A total success!

My manager had arranged for my teammates and I to take a virtual class with The Crafty Kit to arm-knit some blankets. We choose our blanket color ahead of time through a quick and easy online ordering process and our three skeins arrived in the blink of an eye. Casey led the virtual class with incredible patience and that made the whole experience feel fun and approachable. She demonstrated each step first, then guided us through the process in real time, making sure no one felt left behind. She even restarted portions of the lesson a couple of times just to ensure everyone was on the same page, which was greatly appreciated. At the end of the session, Casey shared some of the other classes offered by The Craft Kit, and wow, what a great course list. Kind of blown away by my experience today. I placed an order yesterday for 3 canvases. Today I went…read morein to pick them up. At the register, they claimed they couldn't find my order (I had email confirmation.) It took 3 people and 30 minutes. They never found my order in their system but eventually had me purchase them in store. I'm checking my account to make sure I'm not charged twice. I'll add that while this was going on, I got to listen to the two cashiers complaining about customers and the line as we all stood there. During this prolonged situation, my husband had to take a meeting over the phone and accidentally left his headphones on the counter. I called later to ask if they'd found them. I was told "we tossed them before they were icky." Oooookay, thank you for the opinion on my husband's property? Simply telling me they were thrown out would have been sufficient. They went to look for them and returned to phone to say, with attitude, "yeah. We pulled them out of the garbage." Gee, thanks? Do they not have a lost and found? So I responded, "ok, I guess I'll pick them up." She responded "I guess you will" and hung up on me. Two experiences with this store today. Both bad enough to keep me from returning. The online purchasing is dismal and their customer service is subpar.
