We were able to select our color for the activity ahead of time via simple online ordering process. Our 3 skeins arrived about a week prior to the activity. Casey lead the virtual class with the utmost patience and bright demeanor. She demonstrated each step first, then walked us through step by step. She even started over a couple times to ensure every person was on the right track. At the end of the call Casey gave us a run down of the other classes that The Craft Kit offered and I'm all in that mochi making class. Great team activity. Love my chunky little blanket. I was able to send along my team's addresses, and we got to pick individual yarn colors via an online form. We received our boxes o' yarn roughly a week after ordering them. And then for our class, our instructor, Casey, seamlessly took us through making our blankets. While it was clear she has done this many, many times before, she was so engaged with our class and patient. They were also great about recording our activity since a few of my team were not able to make it but still wanted to make a blanket afterward. Casey was telling us about all the great classes The Crafty Kit offers. If I lived in North Jersey, I'd definitely check them out. Getting to learn from them virtually is the next best thing though!

I vowed I wouldn't shop in this store again but I received a giftcard for Christmas and went to use it. Of course the line went to the back of the store, manager closed a register while the line kept growing and they had most of the employees stocking Valentines day items. The fact they won't scan barcodes is the biggest flaw as you need to wait for the so-called manager to look up the items on a tablet. Mind you this is for any name brand item you purchase. It really is a shame because I like what they sell, nice selection and good prices but the checkout experience is horrible.

Kind of blown away by my experience today. I placed an order yesterday for 3 canvases. Today I went…read morein to pick them up. At the register, they claimed they couldn't find my order (I had email confirmation.) It took 3 people and 30 minutes. They never found my order in their system but eventually had me purchase them in store. I'm checking my account to make sure I'm not charged twice. I'll add that while this was going on, I got to listen to the two cashiers complaining about customers and the line as we all stood there. During this prolonged situation, my husband had to take a meeting over the phone and accidentally left his headphones on the counter. I called later to ask if they'd found them. I was told "we tossed them before they were icky." Oooookay, thank you for the opinion on my husband's property? Simply telling me they were thrown out would have been sufficient. They went to look for them and returned to phone to say, with attitude, "yeah. We pulled them out of the garbage." Gee, thanks? Do they not have a lost and found? So I responded, "ok, I guess I'll pick them up." She responded "I guess you will" and hung up on me. Two experiences with this store today. Both bad enough to keep me from returning. The online purchasing is dismal and their customer service is subpar.
