They sold my daughter a car with multiple issues. She has taken it to two different mechanics that said they never should have sold that car to anyone. She is a young lady who had never bought a car before. Don't buy from them. My husband's coworkers son had issues with the car he bought. Very upset! My husband and I got a vehicle from this location having it 2 days and the transmission went out!!! Took it to their shop to get it replaced and here it is going on 2 Weeks!!! I was there when they called Friday to check the status of the transmission they told him it was ready he was going to send someone Friday to get it so they can start working on it today Monday! I got in Monday he said they just got it this morning told me they didn't have it ready Friday when I know they did cause he called when I was there in front of him!!! And now he keeps pushing the day back for us to get our vehicle back!!!! read more

I was preapproved through my credit union for $11,000 & took it to them and test drove it and decided I liked it, mind you I know nothing about vehicles & now I know I should have went and took it to my OWN mechanic for a inspection before I purchased this crap car and stuck paying for it! I can't believe these people and how they get away with selling junk vehicles to the public and not being shut down or sued! This place sells junk!!! Check underneath the vehicles. All are rusted through. Make sure to check the vehicle history reports. They come from the east coast auctions and are rusted to hell!!! I guarantee any vehicle you buy from there will break down before the 30 day 50/50 warranty and the mechanic out back will always try to schedule you past the warranty date. He is rude and unfriendly and I caught him lying when he looked at his computer calendar and barely had anyone on there booked for appointments. The salesman continually lie and and they have an all around scam going on here. The vehicle we bought was junk!! It broke down the day after buying and was pouring coolant from a hose. Took it back 3 times. Continuous lies!! It was never repaired and kept leaking. Parts were never replaced!!! Stay away from this place. It is a huge scam!!! When my husband was dying and I could not go car shopping, but needed a new van right away, the owner of Avenue Auto found what I needed. Actually, I asked for another Dodge Grand Caravan, but he found me a Chrysler Town and Country, the same vehicle only nicer, for the same price I expected to pay. I have had no problems at all with it, and love this van. I get the oil changed at Avenue Auto too, and get good service for a reasonable price. I know the owners and know them to be honest and kind. The owner's wife has also done some lovely things for me, especially after my daughter died. But I am sharing this review because I honestly got very good treatment when I needed a van, not because they are friends. read more

Ok, this is the third car that I have purchased here and every time I have gotten a fair deal and courteous service. BUT this time Jamie and Brian went over and above. They even took the car to my mechanic so he could give an unbiased look at the truck. Jamie was always on the ball and friendly. My daughter bought a car from them. Before is was drive off the lot it would not start. They said it was the starter. They said they replaced the starter and battery it and gave her the car. Less then 2 weeks her car would not start. She called and told them paid to have it towed. They said it was the battery. They said on the invoice they spend 1.5 hr labor. They charged her for the new battery and labor. If you are a women do not purchase a car from them. They did not fix the issue, just put a bandaid on it. This is her first car and to have someone do this is not morally right. read more

If you're worried about being taken advantage of, you should be... We bought our 2003 CRV in March of this year. We test drove it and told our salesman Chris that we are interested but we hear some knocking and the breaks need changed. He said "we will fix the car, on us, if you want to buy it" we said "great!" and bought it (they did the work as promised). Not even 15 days later the engine blew. We needed to get a $3000 new engine which was over half it's worth. It was under warranty for 30 days so we got a discount on the labor and got a used engine. Not even 2 months later it broke down again and we had to pay to tow it yet again to them. Hundreds later we got it back. And it still had problems, but we were already in debt to them for all the work that they wanted us to pay up front, but their service guy let us do a payment plan (Tom, probably the only one who showed us mercy). Well it's had work here and there in between but we always took it back to avenue auto for break downs because you get a discount on cars labor if you purchased it from them. Well, it's broken down AGAIN, WONT EVEN START! It sits in Marshall where my fiancé commutes and we are waiting to tow it to avenue auto because when we called to get our balance owed the lady who answered the phone said "oh no! It's broken down three times?! We need to remedy this" she transferred me to our original sales man who decided the remedy needed to be another $11,000 loan and more than double our monthly payment. THAT WAS NOT A REMEDY, it's a sales tactic to get us tied into more. When I told him we can't afford to do that he said "why? Did the bank say no?" I said "no, I'm saying no" and he said "ok well there isn't more I can do, I can have the owner call you" that was two days ago and we are still out of a car with it being in Marshall. I've called many times and left at least two lengthy voicemails on the owners voicemail. They have been Completely silent. This place sold us a shit car, even the salesman said "the owner wanted this to go to auction but I told him not to" normally I would have been worried by a comment like that but they said they were fixing the things before we bought it and we got a receipt for the fixes so I ignored that red flag thinking it was good after that. This place will sell you out of house and home, give you a horrible vehicle, rack up what you owe them, and then ghost you after they exclaim there needs to be a remedy. They targeted us as a young family with a baby and instead of helping, they want to screw us again. NEVER SHOP THERE IF YOU NEED A TRUSTWORTHY DEALERSHIP! read more

DON'T TRUST THEM!!!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone. I took the day off from work to finalize the deal and walk out with nothing. They tell you what you want to hear but when it comes to the paper work you better read it. The owner who is a SHYSTER, he had been telling me $13,000 for the vehicle we wanted. Walk in to finalize the deal and its been change to $14,500 and they would not move off that price. Not only did they change the price, but the interest rate as well and the length of the deal. Everything this guy told me before, now has change completely and he didn't care. Save your money and your time and go to a dealership that is more trustworthy, dependable, and actually cares.
