If 0 could be an option.... These folks are scammers. The services and offers they market are incorrect. I used them to set up my internet service. Thought quick and would save time. The service was through AT&T and the offer at the time - January 2024 - was $55/Month but with a $250 Gift card. I never received the gift card and when I went back to them (it took 4 phone calls to get someone to actually assist me). they said that it was AT&T's fault. They would do nothing to help. When you talked with the AT&T rebate folks, they indicated that the order for service was not sent in with a rebate offer listed. There was not a $250 offer in January to begin with. I sent over the emails from AVA and AT&T is going to follow up on their false advertising. AT&T did offer me what was being offered (not through the rebate team but through their customer service... After asking to cancel my service) in January. I also used a service for moving through a concierge service that was a nightmare also. Best advice - Skip these so called Concierge services and contact venders yourself. You will get any offers that are legit at the time and will make sure that everything is on the up and up and follow through. read more

They were available the very next day at the time I requested. They arrived on time and it only took 5 minutes. Paid cash and got my receipt via email right away. I purchased two hours of moving time with Ava's through uhaul. I spoke to someone two days prior, confirming I had paid and to schedule time - which we agreed on as 9 am. The day prior, they called to confirm my 9 am move which was great. The day of the move, I call at 8:45 am to make sure they have the right address and contact info to which I'm told they will now be coming closer to 10 am...I made it clear I had made other arrangements based on our 9 am scheduled time. At 10:15 am, I called again and got sent straight to voicemail. I left a vm asking for an update. Called again at 10:30, straight to voicemail and now the mailbox was full. No one ever called or showed up. read more

We used Ava's moving service a few months ago. Our movers arrived on time which we really appreciated. They worked quickly and efficiently but the issue we had was that several of our belongings (including very expensive furniture) were damaged in the move. As we have been unpacking things since then, we are finding more and more items that were damaged. read more

After speaking with Ava, it sounds like my experience was anomalous and so have revised my review. I will say I was personally dissatisfied with my movers. While they were friendly and sent out with short notice, they were not what I would expect from professional movers. They took excessive breaks and did not follow my instructions. This service has great communication, better than any movers I've used. Joshua answered the phone every time and was accommodating to dates needed. The movers were late but they called and explained they had a flat. The 2 guys looked really young (18-20?) and small in size but they were strong. Polite too. Only issue was their young age showed their experience. One insisted twice that two pieces of standard furniture wouldn't fit through the doorframe. My husband had to show them how and of course it was fine; the other time I had to take measurements and insist on trying, and it worked. There was some time wasted debating these, and they also didn't come prepared with food/drink so they made a pit stop for drinks/food driving to 2nd location (I told them to, but realized later I was charged for that extra time). I was diagnose with preeclampsia I haven't gone back to work yet. Thank god my jobs gives me a few years to get better. With this said all I have for money is what ever money I had been saving for years and years to buy my own home that now the balance of that is $0. I wanted to tell you a bit of my story so u can understand in the need I was to have some help. This was my very first time and pretty much last asking for cleaning service. I wasn't even going to write a review but after the owner called me yelling at me a threatening me with house picture that they didn't even ask if they could take. With out her even asking me politely what the problem was? This woman just strait up just yelled at me and threat me. Now I have to do some research to see if that's even right for her to call like that they way she did. I cried for an hour and fell asleep. Unfortunately recently I got into a car accident and got hurts so bad that, I can't even hold my 2 year old. With that said I put an add out for someone to come help deep deep clean and I said it deep clean and remove a few furniture, and maybe help with laundry. This company got back to me and said $185 just for the removal of a few things and $360 for 4hrs of cleaning with two cleaners. There was no way I can afford that so I counter with $290/ Because even thought the matter was no good the dinning room table and the mirrors and chest had some value. They agreed on the price and said they would send 2 cleaner which really was more like half a cleaner. So it was suppose to be 2 cleaner for deep clean $290 4hrs of deep clean and the removal of the items. When they arrived it was a lady and a very nice young man. I asked to please start with my oldest son room that need the most help. she spend half the time on the phone and making and planing her next job. I'm like so upset right now I can't even. anyways she pick up the floor, but no dusting no detergent was use. She didn't clean any windows in the whole home at all or move any furniture but the bed because I asked her, mind you she is on the phone on and off. My bathroom is so small is like a match box this lady only clean the tube no walls hardly clean the toilet and she didn't wipe down the mirror wth?? She spend the whole 4 hrs on the phone and upstairs. my room all she did was wipe of the counter top with a wet dirty rag no detergent she barely mope the floor. When I asked her why didn't you mop the stairs she said I did the I showed her she didn't, and a clean with the moop her answer was oh. When she got down stairs I wanted my son toys clean and put away they all where push agains the wall with out even sweeping I had to move the toys the sofa and omg if u guys only seen it was dirty dirty. I only have one huge window and I ask if at least they could do the windowsill and they guy at least tried. Unfortunately I been having a mice in my home now for few weeks that is why I need the extra help so I can get ride of the problem. This lady just wanted to make her money and go. When I tell u that nothing was done downs stairs just pretend clean. My dinning room is empty only microwave and small frige that I asked to be clean and all she kept saying I'm I done yet. She did nothing nothing nothing down stairs. The guy was really nice and did the best he could with the cleaning the frige. Please don't be like me and get taken by people that just want your money and don't care that u hire them for a bigger reason. I have a two year old that need my home to be clean. After the owner called and yelled at me, with out even asking me what's wrong. My 2 son was right there next to me was like what mom? After she finish yelling for I don't know what reason, She offered to send back the young man. By the way, I want to thank him for at least helping me a bit with the basement and separating the laundry thank u so much at least for that. But at this point I'm so upset. I just left him in the basement and cried my self to sleep. Her excuse for yelling is that I'm Dominican too and that's the way we talk. God forgive me but some times some Dominicans give the rest of us a bad name. I Mean can you imagine paying $300 dollars in a home where the most was my son's room the laundry that didn't get done and this lady just on the phone standing around doing nothing. I'm still crying and I know is stupid but that lady has no idea how much I needed her help. I had other quote me $130 but since they called first I hire them. Absolute worst moving company our there. Had to get movers last minute cause my help cancelled on me. They took almost 9 hours because of constant smoke breaks and they damaged my brand new couches and took paint off the wall of my new house. Not only that but they also tossed all my wifes clothes on to old furniture in our old house and left it there for us to go back and get AND didnt move heavy dressers to the floor they had to go so my father in law and I had to do it ourselves. When we contacted them to be reimbursed some money cause they charged over $1000 for a half assed job they refused to work with us and claimed we were lying and the damages were already there then proceed to block my wifes number so she couldnt contact them. Moved cross country through U-Pack and the contract to load our things was given to Ava's. They were scheduled to load for 5 hours based on the size of our home. Day 1 there were 4 men- I walked through the house with one of them and showed him what needed to be packed vs. what was staying (everything was already packed and labeled "fragile" if need be). He assured me everything would fit into the tractor trailer that had been delivered. They were there for 4 hours and ended up not being able to fit everything, telling me that I'll just have to get rid of the stuff they couldn't fit, and left the ramp in my garage saying "The truck driver can figure out how to fit it". The next day I called and was apologized to and told they would come back to unpack and repack my things to fit everything. 2 Men arrived 45 mins later than promised to go through our stuff and try to fit it better. They ended up being at my house another 5 hours, but were able to fit more things. Fast forward to a few days later when we have a different company unloading our stuff- boxes labeled "fragile" placed at the bottom of piles and crunching as they were unloaded (everything inside shattered and clearly was repacked after being broken because there were pieces of dirt/asphalt in the box with the glass), our adjustable bed frames had the legs bent/snapped off, my antique desk is warped from being placed on its side and a drawer is broken. After calling them to report the damage we are told that we can't prove that Ava's workers are the ones that did the damage and they will not be providing any reimbursement for our broken things. Very disappointing experience, I can't replace the broken family heirlooms that were carelessly handled and concealed when they clearly dropped the box and swept it back in. read more
