Sergio, BB's owner and technician, was excellent to work with. He did not flinch at any of my requests, and he had a "we'll figure this out" attitude throughout the project. The job involved some customization and additional work, because the new A/C differs in several ways from the original unit, but nothing about it phased him at all. Sergio is very pleasant and his workmanship is impeccable. He did not mind me "helping" (essentially watching) throughout the process. In fact, he encouraged me to do so. I called their office this past Tuesday and spoke to Mabel who was very helpful. I pre-paid for the repair and sent out my PCM with next day air to ensure it got to them the next morning. That day at 4 PM I got a call from Matthew who told me the part had been repaired and they were shipping it back! Literally 5 pm on Thursday my part was at my door, repair done and all shiny new capacitors installed. I quickly re-installed in my truck and she's back! I cannot thank them enough and the turn around time was amazing. After what and who I had been speaking to previously, I wish I would've found them sooner. I'd recommend them to anyone in need of automotive electric repair.

After a long enjoyable birthday weekend, I woke up to a flat tire. I had originally asked CARMAX to…read moretake a look at fixing it, but when they returned my car 2 weeks ago we saw they completely forgot to tend to it. So, here we find ourselves in North Miami at an Air bnb having to call a tow truck with AAA and have a headache of a morning. Luckily the tow truck came pretty quickly. AAA had already located Piper Automotive on the phone that was an approved AAA business, so I had it sent there. While I was at work, Luis called and texted me updating me on what needed to be done and what didn't, which was a huge help. We ended up needing the 2 brand new front tires, which was expected. However, we also ended up needing to plug the right back tire due to having a tiny nail inside. We also asked for an alignment because it's a must when you get new tires. In the end, Piper was able to receive the car before 11am and fix everything by 5pm. They close at 5pm, but they stayed available for me to pick up my car at until 630pm, which was such a huge help. Besides the overall cost being a little more than expected, the experience went smooth, quality seems good and I'd recommend them.

It would have been nice for them to offer me to come by and pick it up but they said they could get me a good deal with the battery because of my AAA membership. Little did I know they still hit me with a $130 fee for "diagnostic" even though I didn't ask for one. They also tried to sell me on additional issues that may creep up in the future, but everyone does that so no big knock there. The staff was friendly enough and they were quick, so that's something. But you can definitely find better value than here.

As we approached Miami very late in the evening our van dash board, all of a sudden, went crazy! The gauges were flickering all over the place. I never experienced such a thing. I thought, what the heck is going on! I coasted onto a dark & isolated off ramp shoulder. We called AAA to be towed. Eventually, we ended up in the hands of Laz at Action. Whose shop not only does transmission work but the most reasonably honest general car repair work. In a super clean shop, employing hard working, knowledgeable mechanics. Laz was terrific! He located the problem. The repairs were quickly completed, getting us back on the road in no time. All this time after, still no problems with anything his shop had repaired. Class act business. There was nothing wrong with my transmission. I simply wanted it serviced since my truck has 79k miles. I went in for an estimate and the shop wanted to replaced other parts . I was told failure to replace the suggested parts would for sure cause my transmission to fail. I was given the price and I went into shock! I knew I needed a second opinion. I arrived at this shop explained what I wanted and what I was told at the other shop. The owner then told me that I did not need anything other than an oil change! He told me to come back when I reached another 30k miles to service it again. I was given a very reasonable quote and they performed the oil change. I saved many hundreds of dollars. I told him he had acquired a new customer. I highly recommend this shop. Thank you for your honesty and service.
