Marcos called me back the same day I called him. He then asked if he could come out on this same day to look at the tv antenna project that I needed done. He came in about 45 minutes from the call and gave me a quote on the spot. He would have come the next day to do the project but I wouldn't be home so we arranged for him to come a couple of days later. He showed up on time and did an excellent job. Marcos's wall mounts knowledge and skills didn't meet expectations. He excepted the job knowing my location and then didn't want to return to my place to fix the crappy work he did in my family room. He mounts the soundbar incorrectly, making extra holes in the wall, then added hole filler that wasn't dry and got it all over my soundbar. My soundbar was barely mounted to the wall. When I asked when can he return to fix the work, he told me I was too far to come, and I would need to have more jobs to make it worth his time. Marcos even had the nerve to say I would need to pay for his gas. I would never recommend him or Angi List for having him as a contractor. read more

I called Marcos @ AV tech to schedule installing some Ethernet cable and speaker wire at my new home. After a free estimate we agreed on 9am that Saturday to start work. The morning of the job he txted me saying he would be late because he needed to buy supplies and arrived at 9:30. When he arrived Marcos was friendly and explained the work he would be completing and set the expectation of about 8 hours to wire the house and it took him just over 7 hours which is great! Marcos' work was almost flawless but there was an issue with the wiring with the Access point that had to be redone but it was resolved. read more

Hate to leave this type of rating but we did not have a good experience with Marcos. He came out and checked out our equipment and then We were waiting to hear back from him. Days went by and we heard nothing. I reached out to him and he apologized and was looking for someone else to help him figure out our equipment. Then he was suppose to contact my husband after I reached out and he never did. We needed the work done for a Dec 4th kids birthday party and we didn't have it done. I've used Marcos twice in the past few months. Both times, he has been super responsive, reasonably priced and done a great job. First, in the spring, Marcos mounted an outdoor TV and soundbar on an exterior brick wall in our screened-in porch. More recently, I needed someone to climb on to my roof to replace a faulty LNB on my DIRECTV dish (something DIRECTV technicians will no longer do). We highly recommend Marcos for your home entertainment installation needs. He responded to our inquiry on Yelp in less than 30 minutes and arranged an in home visit for an estimate same day. He successfully installed power, hung a 4K TV and hid all wiring in an exterior wall above the fireplace in what was a very challenging installation because of the way the fireplace is installed and having to access from our crawlspace. He re-established our 5.1 surround system with several new components and reprogrammed our Harmony remote for easy switching between functionality such as TV, CD, BluRay components. Because of the difficulty with the fireplace he had to return today to complete the job.
