Missing pictures…read more... Quality/Quantity - Just follow the line. Just look for the longest and busiest line and it will be there. Actually, there are two lines, one for take away (on the left) and one for sit down. Both lines are just as long, but the take away moves much faster. Fairly organized. For the take away side, an employee takes orders while you wait in line, to expedite the process. (If you are from CA, think of an In and Out burger drive thru business model). Overall the food is good and reasonably priced. And great advertising seeing everyone walk around with your "sandwiches." Ambiance - Crazy busy. Both inside and outside. But plenty of employees (again both inside and outside). Fairly organized considering the volume. Service - Good. Price - Reasonable.10-15 Euros for a pita sandwich. $11.60 to $17.50 US. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1978.

On first pass, there was a line at the take-out window. When I returned to dine in, there was a rather significant line there as well. My party of 2 was apparently the magic number because they had us stand in the front of the line and we were seated inside almost immediately. The food here is served so rapidly that I seriously doubt anyone needs to wait long as there's a constant turning of tables. Schwarma and Fallafel and whatever else we consumed here was so fresh, delicious, and satisfying that I tried coming back here again the night before leaving Paris. Unfortunately for me, they close early on Shabbat, so I had to be satisfied with my single visit. Outstanding experience, delicious food as over 2,000 reviews already attested to.

I was enjoying my appetizer so much without knowing it wasn't the main course. then came the main course! three different meats straight off the grill on kebab sticks, lamb chicken and a seasoned sausage that was also probably lamb. anyway the lamb is cooked so well you can barely tell its lamb. oh man, the garlic aoili type sauce is so addicting, I spread that on my pita bread (I think I had 8 slices), and dipped my lamb in it too. everything was so delicious! lastly, came dessert, which my stomach by then had no hope for. the waiter took note of this and kindly packed it for me along with the rest of my unfinished meal, including the pita bread I requested to take home. oh, and don't forget to get some of that garlic (tsaziki?) sauce home too! it'd be a loss if you didn't! all this for 20€ and I've got enough left to have as a dinner! thank you Le Mezzé!h

I suspect the waitress dropped the knife as she was passing behind my back. She was non-apologetic and extremely aggressive and rude. Arguing that she did not know where the knife was coming from?! This should not have been her first reaction. I have to assume that somehow she lost the knife from a plate. She kept arguing with me when I pointed out that she should have shown some concerns and simply apologize. She initially did not. Eventually she came to her senses and finally somehow gave a fake apology. We left the premises without eating anything. The atmosphere was dark and kind of depressed. I have to assume that the owner must have been away. Quand le chat n'est pas la, les Souris dansent.

It's a Kurdish restaurant in a gritty part of Paris that sells dürüm wraps, which are essentially a Turkish street food made by rolling soft flatbread around grilled meat and fresh vegetables. After a rough first meal in the City of Light that was a €50 half chicken, my soul needed this. Everything is made to order right in front of your face, and it SHOWS. We went with a chicken and a beef durum that ran €9.50, which gave my Chase Sapphire Preferred card a much needed breather. I'm struggling to find adjectives that describe how good this soft flatbread was, and I'm rarely at a loss for words. The best I can come up with is "tangibly fresh." I preferred the beef to the chicken, as it almost melted in your mouth. So damn tender. Whenever anyone asks me for a Paris rec, Urfa Dürüm will be right near the top of my list.
