Mario, he was such a great help!!, definitely top notch service and extremely patient. Auto zone you have an outstanding young man at your location. I was having a hell of time for the last three moths, we saw up to four mechanics!!! (Including the Nissan dealers at El Monte) and none of them could reaally figure out what was wrong with my car, and all that I needed was a freaking battery thus far!. Mario helped us out so much. Thank you so much!!! read more

I was walk in to make a return the cashier helping can't do a return without the manager, MEANWHILE THE MANAGER BRUCE is talking to some random customer/ friend I pressume about some girl he should've tried to get at and how she has a kid, and I'm staring at them waiting to do a return the people who weren't working had to tell him to do his job, absolutely disgusting, I was there with my wife. Having to over hear this was awful. I'm never going back to an autozone let alone this one read more

Unhelpful staff. No one greeted me or asked if I needed help. When I asked them to help me with the size and type of windshield wiper to get for my car they said it doesn't matter choose any just depends how much I want to spend which I know is not true it does matter. I should have got that kids name. Very disappointed. read more

I swear autozone is the worst!!! Wtf. Is the point of life time warranty..on my alternator ..keep in mind I just purchased it less then 2 weeks ago just to be told I have to purchase another one just to get reimbursed!?!I swear !!! I see why people just steal whatever it is that they need!!! Definitely disappointed in your policy!!!!and logic!!! Why the hell should I purchase another one just to get reimbursed!?! read more

A supposedly knowledgeable worker gave me a part number for my classic car because I needed to replace the bushings. The parts come in a week later and their the wrong parts. I brought the parts back and they ordered supposedly the right ones again having to pay extra and shipping fees and still nothing. I called to find out what the status was and again the parts were going to be delayed because their on back order never once was I told that they were on back order. After making a stink and speaking to Cat supposedly one of the mgrs she stayed I figured you did your homework and knew the part numbers you were giving were the right ones. They than proceed to give me the regional managers number because now I'm pressed for time I have a big show I'm missing out in that has been paid for quite sone time a mechanic waiting to work on my car a Detailer that's had my deposit and still no parts. And all they can say is we're sorry. Mind you the parts that were ordered the second are the wrong parts so that was just a waste of money and time. All they can say is we're sorry. Well sorry is a sorry word and I suggest you take your business elsewhere because the morons that work here have no clue on customer service and are incompetent on car parts. And don't realize that because of customers is why they have a job. read more

My car battery had died and I needed to get a new one. Nicolas and Martin were extremely helpful and were able to make a replacement. They were both extremely professional and courteous. I highly recommend visiting here. read more

Not sure if these guys know what they are doing!!! Went to return an item and they said that I needed the actual debit card that the purchased on. He scanned the receipt anyway but gave me back the item and receipt. Went later to another Auto Zone and they said that the item was already returned! It was a DEBIT and I was never given any money! Went to another Auto Zone and they said it was already returned. How could that be?! I still had the item and receipt but no cash. This store is clueless!! So incompetent. Not going there again. read more

Walked in and everyone was complain about the work they had to do Lots of customers were in the store as well, I get if you hate your job but very unprofessional to complain when customers are in there store Also very rude when I tried returning a tool but happen to have the wrong receipt , it was as simple as me going back to my car and getting the right one , she acted like it was the end of the world lol (time I came in was March 1st around 2pm) read more

Came to the store to purchase some new windshield wipers. I proceeded to pay and observed May represent a strong work ethic which is rare these days. She helped me get the correct windshield wipers and her and Chris put them on for me. I'm a satisfied customer!! Good job May and Chris! And Happy Holidays. read more

This review is based on the customer service and professionalism of employee Evelyn. I went in last Saturday morning around 11 am or so to buy lug nuts for my son's car. There were 2 other customers in line in front of me. As I waited I noticed how Evelyn handled the customer like he was the most important customer ever. She wasn't rushed, she stayed with the customer until the issue was solved. She walked to the stock room and handled the request. She sounded so patient and professional. When it was my turn in line, another employee arrived and Evelyn commented how she "was the only one here since 730." Wow, this young lady never got flustered and handled her business like a boss. Advice to the owner: Evelyn is a valuable employee, I hope you treat her and pay her like the talented responsible person that she is. I realize that I only had this one interaction with Evelyn, but the most important impression is the first impression. She represented you well. read more

Jonathan is a LIFESAVER! I've been to this location twice and was lucky to have him help me both times. The first time with a broken mirror after someone side swiped my car overnight and I needed to get to work in studio city and the second time with a break light out. Also right before I needed to get to work. I came in frustrated and annoyed and he helped me with ease, made the whole process go so smoothly and even helped me outside at my car. I hope I don't have to see him again, but if I do, I hope Jonathan is there. read more

I went in today and everyone was more than willing to help me. I was welcomed by several good mornings or greetings and got what I needed with kindness and excellent assistance. They knew where everything was and offered great advice for following purchases to come. I can only attest to the amazing experiences I receive and have always felt comfortable with staff every time I go in. I will always promote this store because of this. Thankyou Autozone and its' staff! read more

Absolutely the laziest crew , I. Disabled and unable to lift heavy objects. I asked if they could lift it out of the trunk of my car. He was to busy he said. So I waited a good half a. Hour with no results. I finally found a homeless guy who helped me out. When back inside and asked again and the same counter girl whisked me aside stating the same thing even after I showed her the battery in the shopping cart So now she tells me the battery wont b in till Tuesday I didn't take her B S or her semi supervisors lies. This place is crappy and they dont know what they are doing read more

I have been coming here for years. Never have I had such poor customer service. I come to autozone and expect to find knowledgeable people to help me with the correct parts. This time no one even tried. My car was a few feet from the front door. All someone had to do was look at it and they would have known which bulb was right for me. What a waste of time. I then told the girl that i would go elsewhere and drove to Oreilly's. They looked at the bulb and in a few seconds I walked out of there with a new bulb. You have lost my business. read more

Definitely not a store with employees that are knowledgeable, they don't even have a cashier, the workers take turns on the register or charge on the counter, the line is both for paying or ordering parts, employees read off the computer and that is all they know, very long waits and very frustrating store. read more

I like this place there helpful and always willing to help you staff is good here prices are fair. read more

Reference: Autozone 11855 Whittier Blvd Whittier, CA 90601 My 2003 Mitsubishi Montero XLS truck had battery charging problems so I went to the store to have the battery and alternator tested, to find out which of the two parts was not working well. They told me that before doing the test the battery had to be charged so I left it with them for an hour and a half. When I got back it was already loaded and I installed it in my truck. Everything was working fine so I went home, but after 3 hours the problem of the battery without charge again.. I charged it one more time and returned to the store where an employee advised me to buy a new battery. They did not have a 1-year guarantee but a 2-year guarantee, so I had to pay approximately 50% more. They installed the new battery and I went home. The next day the problem again, which indicated to me that the part that was not working well was actually the alternator. I returned to the store in another car carrying the battery that I had bought, a little upset that I had bought a battery that I did not need and asked to speak to the manager, whose name was Mr. Charlie Rodríguez. I explained to Mr. Rodríguez everything that had happened and he told me that the old battery had already been sent to another place. At that moment and spontaneously by Mr. Rodríguez, he told me not to worry, that he was going to refund me for the money I had paid and that he was going to give me a new battery for free, only without guarantee. I was perplexed by Mr. Rodríguez's attitude, I immediately accepted his offer and I think I thanked him about 4 or 5 times, and through this message I thank him once again. Thank you very much Mr. Charlie Rodríguez for being such an understanding, sensitive and honest person. Guillermo Colombres Whittier, CA read more

I went in to have them replace a bad battery they sold me that was still under warranty. I asked this particular guy to please replace the accrual battery for me outside because I have no tools. He said he can't because he's alone, although I heard someone in the back. Then he hands me the tools, and I walk outside to pull the battery out, he's about 30sec behind me leaving for lunch. WHAT THE??? Don't come to this location based on my reviews and many others like it posted here. read more

Agatha and Brian both left me on hold for 20 minutes and that's not an exaggeration. I had to call on my friends phone three times because they just keep leaving you on hold forever. This is bad. I understand people get busy but 20 minutes? If they had the part I would have bought it but now I'm never going in this place again because they are constantly understaffed and these managers working at this location in the grey shirts are not automotive knowledgeable. I wouldn't let that guy work on my bicycle. I'd give them less stars because this has been an awful location to buy overpriced fuses and consult complete morons behind the counter. read more

Had a really great experience here today! I needed my battery changed and went to Pep Boys originally. They had close to a 3 hour wait and it was really expensive. I called this Auto Zone while there to see if they could help. We showed up and right away Evelyn took care of us. She helped me find a great priced battery and installed it also. She is very knowledgeable, and customer service driven. She's great! read more

Jonathan and Alex are both completely unprofessional people. Went in to exchange item with receipt and both acted like they couldn't help and didn't know what to do.
