They suggested that spark plugs may be a bit old and should be replaced. Sure. Spark plugs are @ $5 each and quick installation. Why not... Go ahead. NEVER ASSUME you will be treated fairly -- our costly mistake. --- Schaad's charged $23.71 for each of the FOUR spark plugs that could be baught at auto store for less than $10. Total for four = $94.84 Then they charged $125.00 to put the four spark plugs in. ----- Cost of the Tow was $65 ----- They broke the gas latch in the process of all of this. They ordered the part, we brought the car back and they fix it for free. They were very friendly and I was hoping to use them in the future for other vehicles. Instead, I've told my six sisters, their husbands and my two brothers about the $23.71 spark plugs. There are 18 nephew and nieces + spouses over the age of 25 that live in the area also. That is just my side of the family. We make it a point to share our experiences good or bad. Places to go to and use and those places to avoid and tell others to avoid. I don't mind anyone making money/a living. I even pay a bit extra for family owned and local businesses. But I will warn anyone and everyone to avoid those who take advantage (i.e., $23.71 for a single spark plug to go on an old, cheap car). I asked my question about the oil filter and I was asked to hold. I did so for 6 1/2 minutes, now this may not be a long time to some people and I truly wasn't bothered until a different employee, who again will remain to be unnamed, answered and asked if he could help me. Now don't get me wrong I understand COVID, and being busy during the holidays but I am a paying customer who is valuable whether in the store or not. I proceeded to tell the second gentleman that "I thought I was waiting for someone to just let me know if they had oil filters for my 2018 Ford Escape in stock." If I'm being honest here, I was confused, I was under the assumption that I was waiting for someone to come back on the phone with me to just say yes or no. This gentleman proceeds to snap back and say "Yes, we have several and they are $4.99 each." I attempt to say "Thank you very much!" But I was rudely hung up on with nothing further said. Needless to say, they have very poor customer service at this location and I do not recommend going there. I live less than 5 minutes away from this location and I will gladly drive an extra 15 minutes to the Sylvania, OH location to purchase any of my automotive needs in the future.

To find out they never touched my car and David kept giving me a different price of the repair laughing saying his credit card machine is broke and charging to much money. He had me pay $100 to get my car back and nothing was done to my car. I sit there from 10:45am -5:00pm a trashy business. After I told him I was not going to pay almost $1,000 to have my power brake booster put on he ignore me. This a shady business. I had to add one star to post.
