To make matters worse, the community service police decided to call three cops for absolutely no reason, turning a simple situation into a huge, unnecessary scene. It felt completely overblown and disrespectful, as if they were trying to make the situation worse instead of actually helping. The lack of communication, the insane charges, and the overreaction from the police made this a total nightmare. There's zero transparency, zero courtesy, and zero accountability. If you value your time, money, or sanity, stay far away from dealing with this mess.

I called this guy to help me with my trailer brakes. We're 35 minutes away. First he tells me he'll…read morebe here Monday. Then Monday morning he switches to Tuesday. Then he says, they're overbooked and wants to cancel the project altogether. Then he says a spot freed up. Okay, not a great start, then: He says there's a minimum 3.5 hour travel fee at $95/hr. I say, okay, but since we're only 35 minutes away, does that mean that any additional travel will come out of that minimum? He says, "No sir. Travel time to get parts is separate charge than travel time to location. For example: We find out that brake controller is bad, we have to travel 2 hours round trip to get parts. That will be an additional cost separate from travel time to location." I say, "That doesn't seem right. If I'm paying for 3.5 hours of travel, and it takes 1.5 hours to get here and back (which should be more than enough time) plus 2 hours to get parts, that equals 3.5 hours. Why is that travel billed separately?" He says, "That's how we charge sir. Your best bet is to take the trailer to a shop. I will cancel your service for tomorrow. Thank you." So, I ask a perfectly reasonable question about their egregious billing practices and he cancels my appointment on the spot? Wow. They can overcharge someone else. No thanks.
