What a helpful and friendly Autozone! I've been coming here for years, and they have always been fair, honest, and accommodating with any issue I've come in with. Highly recommended. Today Jack Lane helped me with a battery my mechanic said had to be replaced. This review is long overdue, but a few months ago my windshield wipers were falling OFF my car in rainy weather and I was met with very great service to get them replaced asap. I stopped by less than ten minutes before closing and asked if they could just check my battery, because I had had a few slow starts this week. The manager was in the middle of her closing routine at the registers, but she stopped everything to grab her tester and sure enough, bad battery. I said I'd return in the morning to replace it because I live nearby, but she insisted that I stay so she could check the warranty for me. It was no longer under warranty, but she did have the right one in stock. She asked her employee to change it for me, and within ten minutes I was on the road with a new battery. I think he finished at 10:04! It would have been so easy for her to tell me to come back in the morning, but she didn't want me to be stranded. Such great and caring service. Was my go to local parts store, unfortunately I will have to find a new places. Called in a battery I was definitely short on time that's why I called. The gentleman checked my warranty over the phone and said I was within time. I took in the battery and was helped. They Tested the battery was at zero and informed her I didn't have time to charge. She requested an over ride on protocol and Paulina promptly said no I can but no. If we send the battery back and it test good we get in trouble. Excellent customer service. I was greeted immediately upon entering Autozone by multiple employees. I was having issues with my battery, so they tested it, for free. He showed me that the battery was no good, as it said on the testing device. He wanted to double check it was not the starter, so I went to turn on car, it was dead, so he knew it was the battery. Back inside we go, purchase the battery with a 5 year warranty, which was only $30 more then the 2 year warranty.. and this battery was 3 years old, which the awesome employee at Autozone informed me is a normal life of the battery in our South Texas weather. After I paid, he installed my new battery for FREE! Woo! He just saved me money in labor! Thanks Autozone, will definitely be coming back! Everyone was kind, friendly and knowledgable. read more

This is one of the older autozone stores and it's size and layout reflect this, being tightly packed and stacked high. Staff are knowledgeable an polite (though you may have to wait for them to finish conversations amongst themselves before being attended to) Theres a good selection of parts and are happy to order them in from other stores across the city for free (or will reserve them for collection that day) Nice bonus to the whole autozone chain is their free loan of tools (with a deposit) and free OBD2 scan on your car - rate them way over Napa or Pep Boys for those two reasons and more! read more

Stopped by because I assumed my battery was needing replacement as my car was acting a little funny. Walked in and spoke to Jack Lane and he came out and tested it and got right on it. He was the kindest man, and very helpful. This review is about how awesome he was, and also how not great the other employees were. The only employees that ever cracked a smile and had any customer service were Jack and Robert. Robert was also helping a lady to replace her battery. The other employees were awful. They never smiled, spoke to everyone they "helped" like they were being inconvenienced, and answered the phone in the same manner. One of the employees was asked to help a customer put on the new windshield wipers he bought and the guy acted like it was killing him. So high fives for Jack and Robert! Your fellow coworkers should maybe watch and take a few notes. read more

They were quick to run a test on battery and they discovered that my battery was bad which is what I was expecting. Their staff was very helpful and their service was very quick. My husband and I were out when we discovered our rear right turn signal was not working. We had about a half hour before a meeting and noticed this Auto Zone on the way. We pulled in to buy a new light bulb...a $6 purchase. My husband thought he would install the bulb when we got home.
