My nineteen year old son went into autozone on bluff street and bought an oil filter and 5 qt of oil for his car. He's not a professional mechanic. He wanted to save money by changing his oil on his own, which he doesn't often do, he got the filter. And when he got home, he drained the oil out and put the new filter on and put new oil in. He started his car and it started leaking oil from the filter really bad. So he turned his car off by this time I had got home and saw that there was a mess all over the driveway and decided to see what was going on. He told me his filter was bad, so I took it off and looked at it, and there was no gasket On the filter. He called autozone and talked to of the sales representative, and he said, bring the filter in and the oil. And we will get you a new filter and new oil. When we got there The manager had no idea what was going on and the salesman that talked to my son on the phone Never told the manager. So anyways, the manager said the only thing he could do was give us a new filter, and he couldn't do anything about the oil. Which my son paid eighty dollars for 5 quarts. I said to him that's the best you can do!?. My son works his butt off and wanted to save money. But now, since you sold a filter with no gasket on it and didn't check to make sure that there was a gasket before selling it to my son he's out 80 dollars! The manager basically told us that it was our fault for not checking the filter before he bought it. And I said, that's bullshit. If you can't honor the mistake of not checking the parts when you sell them to people and won't make it right Then we won't be buying any more parts from them anymore. So we went to Napa, got more oil, which was 5 qt. For $50, realizing that autozone ripped us off by over pricing the oil. Bad , bad customer service in my opinion. So be warned , when you buy parts or anything from autozone , if they screw up , they're not going to make it right. read more

Autozone is not willing to help when the parts they sell fail. They refunded the money for the part but refused to help with the issues the part that failed caused. The oil line ruptured from the crimped end and oil drained all over the engine causing it to seize and kill the truck. They didnt bother to send the part back until we insisted and then when Dorman Products denied it they said nothing until I called to see where the claim was. I called the service person at the store was rude and tried to blame us for the driving. I was completely disgusted with their service and follow up. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this store at this location. I needed my battery replaced late in the day, and Tom S cheerfully tested my battery and described the options. He was very helpful from the testing of the battery to taking care of changing it, and he cleaned up the connectors and made everything nice and new again. He even helped me find some replacement clips for the screws that hold the engine cover on my car, as they were old and brittle. And he placed them after the battery was installed. I am thrilled that my car, with a failing and stuttering battery, limped into this location and happened to be staffed with highly professional and helpful employees and a terrific customer service policy. read more

We were traveling from Utah back home to California. My check engine light went on in my Toyota Prius. Someone suggested that I stop here to Autozone read my sensors. Boy was I glad I did! First, reading your sensors is complimentary. They looked up ny code and helped me fix my problem. All I needed was to replace the engine filter and clean a sensor. They even helped me do this! Free of charge! I left them a tip because they certainly deserved it. I'm sure a mechanic would have cost me 10x the amount. Nice guys! Knowledgeable and excellent customer service! read more

If there's one thing that a road trip to St. George from Salt Lake City in the dead of winter will teach you, it's whether or not your windshield wiper blades are up to snuff or not. In this case, they were not, as evidenced by the smudgy streaks left after countless flips of wiper fluid to clean off dirty spray from the countless semi trucks encountered on my southward I-15 sojourn. And so, to the Autozone I went seeking replacements. You all know the drill: look up your make/model/year, find the right size, and then marvel at all the different options from about $11 up to $40 and wonder what in the world the difference is. I sure don't know. So when facing this kind of pricing decision, I tend to go with the lower priced option, which I did, and I was out of there quick. The staff was pretty helpful asking while I was shopping if they could help, and seemed to be on top of things with the few customers in there. It's a larger store and I liked the open layout. Judging from the copious amounts of wiper blade refill boxes in the garbage cans near the parking lot, I'd say I wasn't the only one that day who concluded new blades were in order. I got them replaced in the parking lot just as the sun went down, and they were proved to be highly effective on the road trip back home the next day. read more

My car was having trouble starting while on a road trip from LA to Zion. After it barely turning on, I drove it immediately to the autozone where the friendly staff helped me identify that it was a car battery probelm and procceeded to install the battery. Short staffed location, which caused long wait times to be helped when I stopped by, while in St. George on a Saturday. I had noticed a short while earlier that my check engine light came on, so I was trying to get that diagnosed before deciding whether to drive back to Vegas or not. Eventually, after waiting 15 min or so, I was able to get someone to help me and he went out to my car with a code reader to see what was causing the check engine light. I was then given a print out of possible issues causing that specific code. I've had this service done at other locations in Vegas and usually the employees are fairly knowledgeable and will discuss possible solutions with you. Not at this location. They give you the print out and send you off on your way. Also, use the restroom elsewhere before you stop by. Their restroom was out of soap and TP. What a disorganized location! read more

They were incredibly helpful by helping change my air filter this afternoon. My check engine light came on for the first time and indicated that the air filter needed to be changed. I missed getting the lady's name that offered to do it...and after her shift was ending nonetheless, but I really appreciated it and her willingness to be so helpful! It's a holiday and I'm out of town and my battery died. I got to Autozone and Tino immediately helped me test my battery and replace it. As a woman I'm alwaysa little nervous about how I'll be talked to about my car but Tino was awesome. We chatted about cars while he worked and he even asked for my help at one point. No help at all! We walked up to see a sign saying that their systems were down. I needed a scan on my car so I walked in and asked if they could still do that. Everyone was on their phones and barely payed attention to me. Finally someone came out to help me and struggled to do a scan on my vehicle. Then the manager came out- with his vape in his hand- and talked down to me like I was a five year old about how they couldn't scan my car because it was too old. When I asked for a recommendation of where I could go he had no answers. I eventually had to get my car towed from there and they came out while my car was being put on the truck to tell me that I should have asked them for help instead of calling a tow truck. Never will I ever go back to this autozone. Their lack of professionalism was appalling and their way of speaking to customers was down right rude. read more
