I explained the issue, and he connected me with CODY to test my car battery and get my baby all fixed up.

This is how car buying should work. Find the car you want, get a quote over email. Show up with a…read morecheck. Drive away. Great pricing compared to my local dealers. No B.S., just a straight deal, Danial (Danny) even picked me up at the NJ transit station, with a nice hot cup of DD for me too. I was coming from far away. Even the "closer", the finance guy, was pleasant. You know, that guy who offers you the extra warranty and stuff. I think they knew I was not going for any of that, so it was quick and painless. Full tank, car spotless. I am surprised at some of the other reviews (although some seem like they were a little whack). There is nothing not to like here. Obviously I can't speak for the service, as I just got it, and won't be back. Too far away. But many of the employees are then 10 or 20 years. That tells you something.

If there were a "no-star" review, I would post that…read more My experience with Performance reinforces the age-old perception about shady car dealerships. I traded in a vehicle that was worth more than the vehicle I purchased from Performance. Performance owed ME money on the transaction. I signed the title of my vehicle over to Performance as part of the transaction. Performance took my vehicle. I was promised the check for the difference between the two vehicles within 3-4 days. After a couple of weeks, when I did not receive the check, I called the salesman, "Phil" inquiring about it. He falsely told me that the check was "cut" and that he would send me a tracking number. He never did and never responded to my follow up inquiries. Performance never paid me what was owed to me. Then, after reviewing my contract carefully, I realized that Performance charged me $399 for anti-theft window etching that I never received. Fast forward 6 weeks later, I have filed a law-suit against Performance. It is pathetic that a client has to sue Performance to simply get it to pay what is undisputably owed to the client.

I just want to take this time out to thank Scott & Frank for getting me in my 3rd Alfa Romeo…read moreStelvio. I have been a loyal customer to Fullerton (which is now performance) and had dealt with Scott in the past. My previous car was a Jeep Wrangler Willy's, which I hated for many reasons and still had payments on my lease, but having history with Alfa Romeo and staff, they did the right thing by me and was able to get me out of it a little early and get me in a beautiful Moonlight Gray Metallic Stelvio. Both their services have been nothing short of excellent! They made sure I was satisfied and did whatever they could to help me with everything. I've been dealing with them since 2019, so they have a loyal customer in me and they were excited to have me back and welcomed me with open arms. I highly recommend Alfa Romeo of Somerville, they will make sure you have the best service and experience and will do whatever they can to get you in your next vehicle. And all their inventory is beautiful so you have a wide range of selection! Excited to be back in my brand new Alfa Romeo Stelvio! Thank you Scott and Frank again, the best!

This review is long overdue. I had picked up a Stelvio from Fullerton Alfa Romeo last year 2018…read more After negotiating with multiple dealers for a particular built I got in touch with Rob Long and Scott who had the car I wanted and the color combination, very rare Pearl white with red interiors. They were willing to beat any price that I had got from other dealers. Overnighted the documents and also upon delivery of the vehicle I handed over my previous lease which they returned. They also had agreed to take over a month's payment of my previous lease and to honor a true car cash discount on top. I never had the opportunity to use their service as I stay in NY and the commute will be extensive, so I can't comment on that. In short, I highly recommend this dealership. My lease is due to end coming May and I look forward to going to them again.

They tried to sell us a car with a mechanical issue and claimed that none of them had noticed it…read more That alone raised concerns--if you missed the first issue, what makes it so improbable that there aren't more problems yet to be uncovered? We were told it was the only issue. Then there's the establishment itself. The air conditioning and bathrooms were out of order, yet they constantly offered us drinks. It was 90 degrees, and they had no working restrooms. As for social etiquette, I was there with my boyfriend, and they didn't acknowledge me at all. It's common knowledge that you should acknowledge everyone accompanying a potential buyer. Ignoring them shows a lack of respect and awareness that the other person might influence the final decision. It's just smarter and more professional to treat all parties with equal regard. When the deal didn't go smoothly, they had the nerve to say, "Please don't go leaving a bad review." That shows massive insecurity--and more importantly, you don't get to dictate someone's right to voice their experience, even if it reflects negatively on your business. I will say that Andy C. seemed to have a conscience, but the other guy's eyes were just filled with dollar signs. And don't forget--it was nearly 90 degrees, and they were unbothered by the fact that we'd be driving a broken car 800 miles back home. There's no moral line when someone's only motivation is profit. The name "Open Road" usually brings to mind peace and freedom--a quiet ride on a nice day. This Open Road is filled with potholes, deception
