Came in looking for an a/c relay for my wrx, the guy asked me if it was a truck, I honestly gave him a "wtf" face. He didn't know what a relay was, didn't bother asking his coworkers for help, or searching on the computer; he took me to the aisle where they were and told me to find out which one it was and I could find it there. I have never had an issue with any other location but I had a terrible experience at this autozone. Right in front of me the manager Adriana was scolding another employee and making him feel stupid.She was being disrespectful and loud. I would normally mind my own business but this is a matter of human decency. People do not deserve to be talked down to.Clearly she should not be in a position to oversee others if she does not have the professionalism to refrain from talking to others like that in front of customers. This place is okay it's for the employees that should get zero stars , I bought a battery here for my car , after buying the battery I noticed there is two chewed gum spat on my hood , fresh gum and noticed two guys with the autozone work costume near my car chewing gum .. Both of them are chewing like its their second piece on gum and the old one they spat on my hood , I looked at them and looked at my hood , they looked like they got busted and I said loudly fucking bastards spitting on my hood , they just looked and kept chewing their gum, and then I thought what a minute they were probably blowing each other in their car and had to get a new gum to rid off each other's taste in their mouth and my car was a victim of being spat on . We just came in to get some windshield wipers for my friends car, because they had been acting out. My friend asked one of their employees if he could go out and check if they were the right fit, so he did. When we asked if he could change them for her he said he had to go back in, but another employee by the name of Edwin came to look at them and not even in two minutes it was done. Took my battery in advised they were busy so ("come back in 2hrs") mind you it was 7pm ;( so I go back at 9pm and they still don't have an answer for me, told me to come back the next morning at 7...( I'm not impressed) Went back they said, "the battery is fine" because I'm not feeling confident with info. I asked if they could please check the battery while I'm here, GeeWhiz ,,, battery was dead !!!!!!! I ended up purchasing a new battery, so did they even do they job and service their customer? Terrible service; I gave them a part number and they still gave me the wrong part. All the other shops are fine, this one lacks competency. When I first walked in the two were scrambling because everyone else was on a break. Eventually a handful of employees walked back in, a manager asked one to watch the front and he started to ask why, which turned into an awkward back and forth. If you ask for the veteran discount, the manager wants your military ID. I showed her my DL, with the veteran endorsement, and VA card. She stated 'that doesn't mean anything' it could be fake and anyone could get one, as if she knows what a real military ID looks like.(veterans don't have ID cards, only discharge papers; which have to get dual endorsed by the state and VA for a DL endorsement.) This shop is very chaotic and needs a new manager, I was switched to three different employees for assistance on wiper blades and a item which I gave them an item number. read more

I called a few minutes ago to check for a car battery availability. If this place could be rated for zero stars I would, this is the worst auto zone ever. I had my boyfriend go in there to get a new battery. They made a big deal about it, we asked to see if it was a dead battery. They didn't want to give us a new one. And to top it off the manager Alex was rude. I don't understand why they have managers with no experience in customer service. I will never return to this store, it took me hrs to get my new battery, and then moment later you hear the manager yelling at someone because of the battery. He needs to be fired! i been coming to this auto zone since i got my first car when i need wipers or a new battery the employees have been really helpful n always help install. on saturday my check engine light blinked when i was driving i was very concern because that had never happen before. one of my friends told me to take it to auto zone n they will tell me what is wrong with it or give me an idea of whats wrong. since i am always busy it was not till wednesday till a decided to finally take my car but yet i had so much todo i didnt want to go in and waist my time because i was not sure what they were ganna do or if they even offered the service i was looking for so i decided to call and see if it was worth stopping by i spoke to alfred and he was being very helpful he told me if the check engine light was not on it was not worth checking it because if its not on its not signaling a problem so it was not worth stopping by and he explain to me over the phone about the service that i was looking for he was very helpful i was so happy that i did that over the phone and got my questions answered and went on with my busy day read more

I had to give all the wonderful employees at auto zone in Pico Rivera 5 stars!!! They showed wonderul customer service today. Today was a crazy day. La County issued a curfew. I rushed to the store because my car wasn't starting and the battery needed to be replaced ASAP and i made it right when they were shutting their doors. The lady that was closing the door was nice enough to let me in even though they had 10 min to closing time because of curfew. I explained my situation and she was very understanding. As i waited in line to be helped i witnessed more customers trying to come in but weren't able to. The employees were very patient and understanding and nicely explained the current situation and why they couldn't let them in . Even though the customers were rude the employees kept a positive attitude. Which you don't see often. I just want to thank the employees for being so wonderful keep up the good work. read more

I went in needing windshield wipers, with my 1 yr old son while it was raining today. The gentlemen (older man, didn't get his name) was helpful and willing to help me install the wipers. As we walked out to the front so he can install them, a female worker on the register was so rude and disrespectful making comments in front of my son and I out loud complaining that he had to assist me (not to mention I'm 7 months pregnant) my husband is so busy risking his life on the line as an officer on duty, helping keep the public safe, or else I would of had him do the job. I can't believe that female worker is so upset with her own self, and hates her job so she has to be rude towards customers. I payed for my parts, so that's their job to assist me. NEVER again will I step foot in that AutoZone . I been going to this autozone for quiet some time now, recently I was able to meet a kind, welcoming AZ employee that helped me out in a number of different occasions. Yesterday changed everything on how look at him and how I will judge the fuck out of him. As I walked in 30 min before they were gonna close I was checking out the spray can and behind me were the bumper clips that I also needed. Well ever since I walked in I had this weired vibe from him I could feel him staring at me while I was looking at the spray cans, then after I chose my spray can I turned around to look for bumper clips and I stood there looking for a while couldn't decide. So after I chose the clips , the AZ employee walks one aisle way from where I was at, walks to the clips display and asks me and shows me an empty clip box and says to me "where did you leave the clips" he through me off and I said "what are you talking about " basically he accused me of stealing 2 lil clips his exact words were "just pay and get out of here" or I will call the cops" I stood my ground and replied call the cops and am gonna show the cops that I didn't steal ur lil bitch ass clips and make u look stupid in front of ur co-works " all he replied with was " just go".. he humiliated me in front of other ppl, made me look like a criminal. So to this AZ employee named JAMES BECERRA thank you for showing me n Yelp readers how you can be a good person one day and next your accusing ur very own ppl/raza and humiliating me. As many chances I've given this place when I need help with my car I think today ended up being my last to ask for help. So I show up to ask for help because a piece under the front part of my car was dragging and I needed help to screw or tie the part back up. It's some sort of plastic cover. Anyway, I walk in and there's a long line, maybe like 6 people and I only saw one guy assisting customers. Everytime I see that guy he always looks tired and miserable. I'm guessing he's in his sixties and I think he's one of the managers since he's always wearing a gray shirt. So I wait in line for about 20 minutes until it was finally my turn and I tell the guy my problem. With an annoyed look on his face he tells me that they'll send someone to help me once all remaining customers are helped. I wait to the side for about 10 minutes until the last customer is in line and I go to wait in line again so they don't forget to help me. When it was my turn to get helped again I was helped by a much younger guy who was way nicer than the guy who helped me first. There were about 3 people behind me in line again. I tell the guy my problem and he says what could be the way to fix it and he starts walking with me to the exit when suddenly one of the other employees who was at one of the registers (a fat guy with a gray shirt and dark circles around his eyes) stops him and asks "Hey where you going man?" He replies that he's going outside to help me and the fat man scolds the poor guy in front of everyone saying "Don't you see there's a line!? Help these people in line and then you can go outside. Next time you do something like that bro you gotta ask us. You can't just go outside like that" I thought what a lousy guy! When was I going to end up being helped!? Until the store closes!? The customers were going to keep forming a line no matter what. The poor guy apologized to me and went back to his register as he was told to. I figured I was never going to get helped so I decided to just leave. The employees at this place don't really seem to care about helping their customers. So sad. read more

My headlight is out. This isn't good news for any girl who knows very little about cars. So...I heard that auto zone sells the bulb and installs it for you with no charge. Naturally installing anything for free is awesome, hence the reason I chose Auto Zone. So i get to this one and it's pretty busy for a Wednesday morning. The girl at the register was young and I hate to judge....but I was gonna be surprised if she could help. But..she works there for a reason so hopefully she can prove me wrong. She asks for my car info to get the proper light. After going back and forth twice she finally "claims" to have the right one. Ok so she charges me. Then I ask 3 times for her to ask someone to install it. After finally not ignoring me, she asks her manager who is a woman? Ok. I'm not gonna judge. Again. She puts her gloves on and goes to my car with this warning, "well if i have to move 'stuff' we can't help you." So....after a little over 10 minutes of her struggling to put on my headlight,...she realizes it's the wrong bulb! BOOM! The girl at the cashier whom I tried not to judge...screwed me over. So the "womanager" goes back to replace it. Finally again tries to put it in...then success! It works. Well for now. We'll see what happens in the next few nights I'm using my light. Wow. I'm a woman myself and all for being treated fairly...but c'mon why do you work at autozone ladies...? If you don't like cars, car parts, or service on cars...then why apply? EESHH.
